カトリック教会イラク北部モスル管区のカスムーサ大司教が「反乱分子」に誘拐された、と言っているが誰がやったのか分かったものではない。これでまた「アッラーアクバル」の呪文と一緒に処刑ビデオでも流したら、欧米のカトリック信者が一気に頭に来てイラク侵略軍の増強はぐっとやり易くなるだろう。誘拐した犯人が「モー」様の関係者だったらカトリック大司教の命くらい屁とも思わないだろうし。

Archbishop abducted in Iraq

The abduction came on a day of violence across Iraq
A Catholic archbishop in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul has been kidnapped by insurgents, the Vatican says.
Archbishop Basile Georges Casmoussa, 66, was abducted from outside his church in the east of the city.

The Vatican said in a statement that it deplored "in the firmest way such a terrorist act", and asked that the archbishop be freed immediately.

There have been a number of attacks on Iraq's Christian minority. Two churches were bombed in Mosul in December.

The kidnapping came on a day of bloodshed across Iraq, less than two weeks ahead of general elections on 30 January.

At least 16 people were killed in two separate attacks in the north of the country, in the cities of Baiji and Baquba.

And the Iraqi interim government also said its soldiers had killed 35 suspected insurgents in clashes near Falluja over the past two days.
