(May 28): India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have a meeting with Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on May 31.

According to India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), this would be during Modi's visit to Indonesia (May 29 to 31) and Singapore (May 31 to June 2), Malaysiakini reported.

It will be the first time that the two leaders are meeting each other. Modi is also expected to meet Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and her spouse Anwar Ibrahim during his visit which will also be the first meeting for Wan Azizah and Anwar with Modi.

Modi last visited Malaysia on Nov 23, 2015.
