Bomber Hits US Column In Abu Ghurayb; Supply Convoy Hit Outside Kirkuk

A martyrdom bomber drove an explosives-laden car into a column of four US Humvees in Abu Ghurayb on the highway to western Iraq on Tuesday morning reportedly killing or wounding four US troops who were aboard it amid reports of more attacks throughout the country and a strike against a supply convoy outside Kirkuk.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Abu Ghurayb as saying that the fighter blew up his car near one of the vehicles in the US patrol as it passed by along the highway. The explosion totally destroyed one of the American Humvees, reportedly killing or wounding four US troops who were aboard it.
Bomb Blasts US Patrol In Hur Ruajab
A bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in the Hur Rajab area south of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah at 8:30am local time Tuesday morning. Residents of Hur Rajab who witnessed the bombing said that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the road to ad-Durah blew up as a patrol of four US Humvees was driving past according to the Mafkarat al-Islam report. The blast set fire to one of the Humvees however there was no information on the nature or extent of American casualties as US troops responded to the explosion by opening fire indiscriminately at civilians in the area keeping everyone away.
Bomb Blasts US Patrol
Another bomb exploded by a US patrol on a farm road in the al-Mushadah area, north of Baghdad, at 10:30am local time Tuesday morning. Residents of al-Mushahada who witnessed the attack told the Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that had been planted in the middle of an unpaved road in al-Mushahdah had blown up under a Humvee that was a part of a patrol of five US vehicles. The blast disabled the Humvee and reportedly wounded three US troops who were aboard it, one of them severely.
US Military Headquarters In Samarraﾕ Bombed
In a dispatch posted at 10:25am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance forces had bombarded the regional puppet government office building in Samarraﾕ, a facility that the US military has taken over and turned into one of their local headquarters north of Baghdad. Residents of the al-Muﾔtasim neighborhood in the center of the city were quoted as saying that the headquarters came under Resistance mortar bombardment and that three mortar rounds blasted directly into the headquarters, setting off explosions and sending pillars of smoke rising into the sky from inside the compound.
Bomb Blasts Iraqi Puppet Troops South Of Al-Yusufiyah
A bomb exploded by an Iraqi army column of personnel carriers on the road south from al-Yusufiyah at 9am local time Tuesday morning. Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents in al-Yusufiyah who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the road leading to cities in the south blew up as a column of four Iraqi puppet army troop transport vehicles and two US Humvees drove past. The blast destroyed one of the troop transports, reportedly killing three Iraqi puppet army soldiers and wounding three more of them.
US Supply Convoy Hit Southwest Of Kirkuk
A bomb exploded by a convoy of trucks hauling provisions to US forces near the ar-Riyad area on the road to Bayji southwest of Kirkuk at 11am local time Tuesday morning. The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ar-Riyad who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the road to Bayji blew up as a convoy of three American Humvees and seven US trucks loaded with provisions for US forces drove past. The explosion set one of the trucks on fire, seriously wounding the driver.
