Al-Anbar Province.

Rawah.

Resistance car bomber blasts US armored column in Rawah at midday Tuesday.

An Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-packed car into a US armored column in Rawah in western Iraq on the road to al-Qa’im at 1:15pm local time Tuesday.

The Rawah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported passing motorists who happened to be on the scene at the time and witnessed the attack as saying that a Resistance fighter burst into the US armored column as he drove beside it. US troops opened fire on the car but he managed to detonate his explosive vehicle near the column, setting fire to one armored vehicle and killing or wounding its crew of five US soldiers.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bomb targets US patrol south of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah midday Tuesday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the Zawbi‘ area south of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, which is south of the city of al-Fallujah, at 1pm local time Tuesday.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Fallujah reported residents of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of an unpaved road that links ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah with Zawbi‘ blew up as a US patrol passed by. The explosion severely damaged one American Humvee, wounding two US soldiers, the witnesses said.

US soldier reported killed in midday ambush in al-Fallujah.

Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol in the industrial zone of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad at midday on Tuesday.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Fallujah reported shopkeepers in the zone who witnessed the attack as saying that the operation began when an Iraqi Resistance bomb that had been planted by the side of one of the main roads in the industrial zone exploded by a passing joint patrol. The blast set one of the vehicles in the patrol on fire.

Then Resistance fighters equipped with light and medium arms attacked the patrol, killing one American soldier and three Iraqi puppet troops. Thee other soldiers, one of them an American, were wounded, the witnesses said.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance assassinates first deputy puppet governor of al-Anbar Province.

In a bulletin posted at 4:55pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in ar-Ramadi reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance fighters had shot and killed the First Deputy Governor of al-Anbar Province in the US-installed puppet regime, Talib Ibrahim Samir al-Fahdawi. Also killed in the attack that took place on 17 Street in the middle of ar-Ramadi was one of al-Fahdawi’s aides.

Eyewitnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that Resistance fighters got out of a car and unleashed a hail of gunfire on the Deputy Governor’s car, killing him and his aide instantly.

Resistance shoots down unmanned US spy plane Tuesday morning.

Iraqi Resistance forces shot down an unmanned US spy plane in the as-Sufiyah area northeast of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad, at about 9am local time Tuesday morning.

Residents of the area who saw the attack told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that a number of Resistance fighters shot down the US reconnaissance drone by firing medium weapons at the aircraft. The gunfire struck the airplane and brought it crashing down in a garden in the as-Sufiyah area.

Hit.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet headquarters in Hit early Tuesday.

Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the Youth Center building in the middle of Hit in western Iraq on Tuesday, a building that the US occupation forces have taken over and turned into one of their headquarters.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses in the al-‘Ummal neighborhood of Hit as saying that the headquarters, which is jointly used by US occupation troops and Iraqi puppet forces, was struck by four Resistance mortar shells at about 6am local time Tuesday morning.

Abu Ghurayb.

Car bomber hits US column going through Abu Ghurayb Tuesday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 10:55am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter had driven an explosives-laden car into a column of four US Humvees in Abu Ghurayb on the highway to western Iraq on Tuesday morning.

The Abu Ghurayb correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance fighter blew up his car near one of the vehicles in the US patrol as it passed by along the highway. The explosion totally destroyed one of the American Humvees, killing or wounding four US troops who were aboard it.

Baghdad.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in Hur Ruajab early Tuesday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in the Hur Rajab area south of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah at 8:30am local time Tuesday morning.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of Hur Rajab who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the road to ad-Durah blew up as a patrol of four US Humvees was driving past.

The blast set fire to one of the Humvees. There was no information on the nature or extent of American casualties, because US troops responded to the explosion by opening fire indiscriminately at civilians in the area keeping everyone away.

Salah ad-Din Province.

Al-Mushahadah.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol Tuesday morning north of Baghdad.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on a farm road in the al-Mushadah area, north of Baghdad, at 10:30am local time Tuesday morning.

Residents of al-Mushahada who witnessed the attack told the Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that had been planted in the middle of an unpaved road in al-Mushahdah had blown up under a Humvee that was a part of a patrol of five US vehicles.

The blast disabled the Humvee and wounded three US troops who were aboard it, one of them serverely.

Samarra’.

Resistance bombards US military headquarters in Samarra’ early Tuesday.

In a dispatch posted at 10:25am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had bombarded the regional puppet government office building in Samarra’, a facility that the US military has taken over and turned into one of their local headquarters north of Baghdad.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of the al-Mu‘tasim neighborhood in the center of the city as saying that the headquarters came under Resistance mortar bombardment and that three mortar rounds blasted directly into the headquarters setting off explosions and sending pillars of smoke rising into the sky from inside the compound.

Babil Province.

Al-Yusufiyah.

Resistance bomb blasts Iraqi puppet troops south of al-Yusufiyah Tuesday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army column of personnel carriers on the road south from al-Yusufiyah at 9am local time Tuesday morning.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents in al-Yusufiyah who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the road leading to cities in the south blew up as a column of four Iraqi puppet army troop transport vehicles and two US Humvees drove past. The blast destroyed one of the troop transports, killing three Iraqi puppet army soldiers and wounding three more of them.

Diyala Province.

Salman Bak.

Resistance ambushes puppet al-Husayn Brigade troops at noon.

Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a patrol of the puppet “al-Husayn Brigade” in the Salman Bak area southeast of al-Mada’in at 12 noon on Tuesday.

The al-Mada’in correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Salman Bak who witnessed the attack as saying that a number of Resistance fighters ambushed the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry al-Husayn Brigade” patrol on the road leading into the center of al-Mada’in.

The witnesses said that the Resistance fighter, equipped with light and medium arms, set fire to one of the puppet brigade’s pickups killing or wounding four of the puppet troops. The Resistance fighters then left the area without having suffered any casualties of their own, the witnesses said.

At-Ta’mim Province.

Kirkuk.

Resistance bomb blasts US supply convoy southwest of Kirkuk late Tuesday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a convoy of trucks hauling provisions to US forces near the ar-Riyad area on the road to Bayji southwest of Kirkuk at 11am local time Tuesday morning.

The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ar-Riyad who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the road to Bayji blew up as a convoy of three American Humvees and seven US trucks loaded with provisions for US forces drove past. The explosion set one of the trucks on fire, seriously wounding the driver.
