レジスタンスがラマディ東部のアメリカ軍海兵隊のキャンプを襲撃，激しい戦いとなる
襲撃は殉教自動車爆弾による攻撃をきっかけに始まっていく。
機関銃と肩撃ち式パイプロケットなどで武装した約20名のレジスタンスがこの襲撃に参加している。
キャンプにある施設から発生する爆発音が周辺の地域を振動させていき，黒煙が上昇していく。
また，キャンプ内では炎上した数台の軍用車両とその中に残された黒焦げになったアメリカ兵の死体が目撃されている。
アメリカ軍はレジスタンスに集中砲火を浴びせて猛烈な反撃を見せていくが，レジスタンスは誰一人として死傷することなく，
現場から撤退している。

Resistance Mounts Assault On US Camp In Ramadi; Local Hospital Searched

Violent fighting had erupted between the Iraqi Resistance and US occupation troops according to dispatch filed at 3:50pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon by Mafkarat al-Islam.
Witnesses said that the Resistance began its fierce attack on a US military camp east of Ramadi when a fighter drove an explosives-packed car into the camp and exploded. That signaled the outbreak of battle as an estimated 20 fighters armed with machine guns and shoulder-launched pipe rockets assaulted the American Marine camp.
At the time of reporting the sounds of battle could still be heard in the area. Thick columns of smoke were billowing into the sky over the American camp as the sound of explosions going off inside the facility shook the area. Several American military vehicles could be seen on fire with the charred bodies of American soldiers still inside.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the American Marines responded to the attack with intensive fire that left the Resistance fighters outgunned however the fighters were able to make good their escape without casualties.
US Troops Surround, Search Ramadi General Hospital For Wounded Fighters
US military forces on Thursday morning surrounded Ramadi General Hospital and launched an extensive search of the facility looking for any wounded Iraqi Resistance fighters who might have entered the hospital after the combat that raged late Wednesday night.
In a dispatch filed at 10:25am Mecca time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the ath-Thilah neighborhood adjacent to the hospital as saying that US troops backed up by armored vehicles surrounded the hospital in the morning and began searching it. The Americans believe that some of those wounded in the violent fighting that took place late on Wednesday night might have entered the hospital seeking treatment.
The correspondent reported that the fighting took place in the middle of Ramadi between American troops and Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, including RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades and PKS machine guns. The combat latest about one hour however no information was available on the number of casualties sustained by the Americans due to nighttime curfew in force. Witnesses did tell Mafkarat al-Islam that they saw two American Humvees on fire.
