Bank of China selects IPO financial advisors

On 30 August, Bank of China spokesman Wang Zhaowen announced that BOC formally selected BOC International, Goldman Sachs&Co and UBS Ltd as its financial advisors and lead underwriters for overseas IPO. This decision was made after comprehensive consideration and strict internal review procedure in accordance with usual practice.
According to the spokesman, with high reputations and strong business strength in international capital markets in Asia, Europe and the United States, BOC International, Goldman Sachs&Co and UBS Ltd have a close long-term cooperative relationship with Bank of China, and have participated in various important projects of BOC, including BOC Hong Kong (holdings)’s restructuring、IPO and following issuance. Bank of China believes that the joining of these advisors will help to speed its reform and preparation for the overseas IPO.
