DU Contaminated Scrap Iron Exported to India
Depleted Uranium is allegedly being exported to India among the growing
accusation over the wide use of DU weapons and its resulting contamination
during this Iraqi war.
According to the information just received from Basra, Ahmed Chalabi,the
chairman of the Iraqi National Congress and a member of Iraq's Governing
Council,who had been paid $340,000 monthly from the US Department of
Defence, and several other members of Iraq's Governing Council have
allegedly made "an infernal contract" with several Indian corporations.
The deal refers to the export of approximately 200,000 tons of scrap iron
contaminated with Depleted Uranium, including old Iraqi army tanks, at the
price of $111,000,000.
The cargo ship "Ghazi" for the first shipment arrives at the Iraqi port of
Khor Zubeir on 18 May and loading will be carried out under the surveillance
of the Coalition Forces.
The contaminated iron such as this is known to expose hundreds of thousands
of Indian people as well as Iraqi workers who load the shipment to
radioactive contamination.
Thus ends the report. Probaly it is revealed by an insider. If the
accusation were true, the grievous hazard would spread widely. Although
there have been a few reports on illegal exports of crude oil by
Occupation/Coalition Officers, this is the first ever report on DU
contaminated Iron export which shows on a possible involvement of the

A: The steel is usually taken to be cut in pieces of 2 meters to be then
melted and converted to all kinds of different steel products. Mainly
Recycling.
Q : When are they shipped to India?
A : The shipped two months ago one lot. Second shipment is now under loading
in Khor Zubair.
Q : What is the role of English American army?
A : To issue certificates that this steel is clean!
