この調子だと、ジョン・ケリーは民主党大統領候補になる可能性が高いでしょうね。
歴史的に、ミズーリ州を落として大統領になったのは、1956年の予備選で敗北したアイゼンハワーしかいません。

Kerry will take Missouri, Delaware, CNN projects
Edwards projected winner in South Carolina; Kerry second

(CNN) -- Sen. John Kerry will win the Democratic primaries tonight in Delaware and Missouri, and Sen. John Edwards will capture South Carolina, CNN projects, according to exit polls.
Four other states are holding contests tonight, and the collective results could give Kerry, a 19-year veteran of the Senate from Massachusetts, new momentum as the front-runner in the Democratic field or give new hope to other candidates such as Edwards.
Edwards, a first-term U.S. senator from North Carolina, had described a win in South Carolina as critical to his candidacy.
But the initial results suggested Kerry was building on his front-runner status, established after decisive first-place finishes in Iowa and New Hampshire.
In Oklahoma, Kerry, Edwards and retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark were in three-way battle for the top spot, according to exit polls.
The margins of victory for Kerry in Delaware and Missouri -- the night's biggest prize with 74 delegates -- were solid, according to exit polls.
"That's fabulous," Kerry told CNN.
Kerry also was placing second in South Carolina, according to exit polls.
The race in South Carolina marked the first time that a Democrat other than Kerry could claim first-place in one of the Democratic primaries.(Interactive: The day's seven contests at a glance)
