US Fires Missiles On Ansar al-Islam

US forces fired five missiles Friday night at the base of the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Islam in northern Iraq.
This is the group that Bush tried but failed to connect to Al-Qaida.
Ansar al-Islam is poised to be an obstacle in the US offensive on Saddam through the north.
Turkey is now on the move, with 1000 troops in the region and we have received reports directly from the area that approximately 1000 Arab Mujahideen have now arrived in theatrea, with more expected to arrive in coming days.
A high-level official has said that Kurdish forces are currently preparing a ground assault against Ansar which is anticipated to start within hours.
