●米国はカルザイの統治能力に懐疑的
最近のアフガニスタンの状況は、米国当局者が明らかにハミッド・カルザイおよび彼の家族との関係を絶とうとしていることを示唆する。
カルザイの兄弟アーメッドがカンダハル空港で拘留され、米軍によって不名誉な方法で身体的検査を5回以上も受けたという報告があった。
これは、彼が暫定政権議長の兄弟であると知った上で行われた。
暫定政権議長の兄弟は、彼自身は言うまでもなく、あらゆるアフガン人にとってきまり悪く屈辱的な方法で検査された。
アーメッド・カルザイは、いくつかの重要な仕事のためにカンダハル空港に行った。
彼に対する処遇は、米当局者がカルザイの家族に対する信頼を無くしただろうことを示唆する。
これは、カルザイと北部同盟のメンバーのごく近い政治的な将来へなんらかの深刻な含みを持つ。

ザーマンはジャララバードで米軍に拘留されている。そして、ハジ・ザーマンの部族に忠実な人々の抗議にもかかわらず、カルザイは彼の釈放を掛け合うことは出来ないと言明した。
前に逮捕されたオール・グル司令官は、未だに米国によって拘留されている。明らかに彼はカルザイの親戚であるが、それは、アメリカの主人の目に映る彼の評判の助けにはならない。
アフガニスタンの平和と治安が、腐敗した、権力に飢えた者の手で失われたかのように見える。我々は、アッラーを措いて力も強さもない、アッラーは全知全能であるとしか言えない。

US AUTHORITIES INCREASINGLY SCEPTICAL OF KARZAI’S ABILITY TO CONTROL AFGHANISTAN
JALALABAD/KANDAHAR(Muhammad Haris Zahidi/Islam News):
Recent developments in Afghanistan suggest that the US authorities are apparently trying to dissociate themselves from Hamid Karzai and members of his family.
It has been reported that the brother of Karzai, Ahmed, was detained at Kandahar airport and physically searched over five times in a disgraceful manner by US troops.
This was apparently after they had found out that he was the brother of the head of the Interim Government.
The way the US troops searched him would have been embarrassing and humiliating to any Afghani, let alone the brother of the interim head.
Ahmed Karzai had apparently gone to Kandahar airport for some important work.
The way he was treated suggests that US authorities may well have lost their confidence in Karzai’s family, which could have some serious implications for the immediate political future of Karzai and members of the Northern Alliance.
US MILITARY ARREST COMMANDERS APPARENTLY LOYAL TO THEM
After the arrest of the Corps Commander of Kandahar, Mullah Naqeebullah, reports suggest that the arrest of the Governor of Kandahar, Gul Agha, is also being considered.
The US apparently suspects that it was Gul Agha’s men that were responsible for the recent attacks on the US base at Kandahar airport.
Gul Agha’s men have been very vocal about the fact that the US has stopped the amount of aid it was giving to them for their services.
This has been the reason given as to why Gul Agha’s supporters are turning to theft in the region.
Commander Haji Zaman, who was the leading Commander of operations against the Arab Mujahideen in Tora Bora, is still in custody of the US Military.
The Interim Government apparently doubts the loyalty of Haji Zaman, since many of the Mujahideen were able to escape the region during the combined Afghan and US assault.
It is believed that members of the Jalalabad police also helped escort the Mujahideen to safety.
Furthermore, the interim defence minister also blamed Haji Zaman for taking 2 million rupees from the Mujahideen in order so that they could escape.
Haji Zaman is being kept in Jalalabad under US custody and despite the protest of the people loyal to Haji Zaman’s tribe, Karzai stated that he wouldn’t be able to help negotiate his release.
Commander Ool Gul, who had been arrested a while back, is still in US custody and is apparently a relative of Karzai, which hasn’t helped his reputation in the eyes of his American masters.
It seems as if the peace and security of Afghanistan has been lost at the hands of corrupt power hungry individuals and we can only say that there is No Power or Strength except in Allah and He is All Able, All Wise.
