●アメリカはアフガニスタンでの軍の戦略を変え、アフガニスタン暫定政権に反対する者を罰することに決定した。
アメリカの日刊紙によると、ペンタゴンはアフガニスタンでのその方針を変え、その軍事力をハミッド・カルザイ政府を批判するアフガニスタンの市民軍グループに向けた。
また、アメリカ中央軍はこれを受け入れ、カルザイの軍を攻撃した人々に対する2,3日前の爆撃の詳細を発表した。
●オーストラリア人の弁護士と2人の英国人捕虜（アフガニスタンでの軍事キャンペーンでアメリカ軍によって捕縛され、キューバのキャンプＸ線で他のアル・カイーダ・ムジャヒディンと供に拘留されている）は、これらの市民の逮捕に対してワシントンの法廷に嘆願書を提出した。
嘆願書は、これらの市民に完全に法的な自治が与えられることを要求するものだ。
弁護士は逮捕理由を合衆国政府が提示出来ないなら、捕虜は直ちに解放されなければならないという強い声明を出した。
逮捕および無期限の拘留は違法であると彼等の声明にはあった。
弁護士はまた、これらの捕虜たちはテロリストではなく、逮捕と投獄のしかたは合衆国憲法の人権に違反すると主張した。
これは、キャンプＸ線に習慣されている人々からの最初の法的な挑戦である。

Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAWS) said:
"There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days (the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah)."
The people asked, "Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?"
He said, "Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing."

Abu Qatadah (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAWS) said:
"Fasting on the day of Arafah is expiation for the sins of two years, the year preceding it and the year following it."

WASHINGTON (Online):
The U.S. has decided to change its military strategy in Afghanistan and punish those who are against the Afghan Interim government.
According to a U.S. daily paper, the Pentagon has changed its policy in Afghanistan and turned its military might on those Afghan militia groups who are criticizing Hamid Karzai's government.
This fact was also accepted by U.S. Central Command, which issued details that a few days back, U.S. warplanes had dropped guided bombs on those who attacked Karzai's troops.
Lawyers of Mujahideen in Cuba File Petition in Washington Court of Justice
WASHINGTON (NNI):
The lawyers of the Australian and two British prisoners, arrested by U.S. troops in their military campaign in Afghanistan and kept along with other Al-Qaida Mujahideen in Camp X-ray in Cuba, have filed a petition in Washington Courts against the arrest of these citizens.
The petition demanded that full legal autonomy be given to these citizens.
The lawyers issued a strong statement saying that if the reason for their arrest could not be presented by the U.S government, the prisoners must be released immediately.
The arrest and holding of these individuals for an indefinite period of time is illegal, their statement said.
The lawyers also claimed that these prisoners were not terrorists and their arrest and manner of imprisonment was a violation of the human rights that are present in the United States constitution.
This is the first legal challenge from those who are kept by the U.S. at Camp X-ray.
