US/Russian Tension Rises as Russian Military Deploys 10 Warplanes at Bagram Airbase

ISLAMABAD(Special Report):
The Russian Military reportedly deployed 10 warplanes on Friday at Bagram airbase, which lies north of Kabul.
This move comes in open opposition to the US Military, who had asked the Russian Military not to deploy in this region.
Consequently, this has created some tension between Russian and US troops who are now both present at Bagram.
It seems that Russia is concerned about the extent of US involvement within this region and the implications of US presence within Russia's former Central Asian states.
These worries seem to have been the motivation for the recent visit by Russia’s Foreign Minister to China and India.
It is believed that a triangular nation proposal involving Russia, China and India was put forward so as to curb US influence within the region.
China had initially rejected this proposal, which had been put forward before the US had launched its attack on Afghanistan, but seems to have initiated this new wave of talks in what seems to be an attempt to consolidate its power within this troubled region.
It is also believed that soon after the Taliban had withdrawn from the North, the Russian Military had initially set up a base in Bagram alongside US troops.
Apparently, US and British forces had asked them to leave and threatened further action if they didn't comply, since they weren't sure as to Russian motives of being there and whether their presence would clash with their own plan for conquering Afghanistan.
It is believed that these chain of events led Qasim Faheem, the Minister of Defence for the Interim Government to shift the Russians to Khawa-Rawash airport in Kabul.
The Russians were seemingly humiliated, but it appears now that they didn't go quietly.
There have been reports from a reliable source suggesting that the Russians were responsible for shooting down one US helicopter gunship, which was downed near Bagram and was previously reported by azzam.com.
Hence, this further Russian deployment of 10 warplanes is due to cause immense tension between the Russians and US/British troops.
It comes as no surprise that this would happen, because both Russia and the US have their own agendas when it comes to the Islamic land of Afghanistan.
Russia had installed numerous agents within Afghanistan and enjoys the allegiance of many Afghan commanders.
We ask Allah that He divides the ranks of the disbelieving occupying forces and expels them in defeat and disgrace.
