私にとって不可解なのは、なぜこの時期に、欧米が朝鮮
問題に（つくり笑いを浮かべながら）ねっちょりとコミットして
きたのか、ってことですね。
政治スケジュール的に言えば、今年の秋以降、パレスチナ・
イスラエル問題が世界最大の不安要因になるのは、とっくに
わかっているわけですから。 （なぜって、パレスチナ建国は９月
13日だと前々から宣言されていて、こうした政治日程自体、キリ
スト教暦の第三ミレニアム突入というタイミングでバチカンをめぐ
って政治的な動きが活発化するとともに中東に世界的関心が
向かう今を歴史的な好機ととらえて設定されたものなのだろうし
……。）
それにイスラエルは何に属するのか知りませんが、それを包囲
する形で存在しているアラブ諸国は、一応「アジア」に含まれて
くるわけだろうし……。
だったら、最大のアジア問題の最大の懸案は、すくなくとも今は
朝鮮問題ではなく、イスラエル・パレスチナ問題だと思うんですが。
なのに、欧米“列強”はこの非常に明快な西アジア問題から故意
に目を背けて、朝鮮問題に介入してきたとしか思えないんですよ。
中東問題は、すでに米国なんぞは、傀儡[かいらい]マシーンとして
の利用価値がないとして半ば見捨てたかたちになっている国連に
押しつけちゃってるしなぁ〜。
だから金大中氏へのノーベル平和賞授与だって、なんだか謀略
めいた雰囲気を感じますなぁ〜。 まあ、そもそも死の商人として
人類史に残るような“功績”を残したアルフレッド・ノーベルが――
彼がもたらしたのは文字どおりの「WT（War Technology）革命」だっ
たわけですが――爆薬づくりでしこたま儲けた財産を、いまだに
賞金にしているのがノーベル賞なのですから、あんなものを喜んで
いるのは、よほど志[こころざ]しが低いか、貧乏乞食根性に毒され
ているか、社会的白痴かのいずれかなんでしょうけどね。 それに
嘘つきのエ〜ちゃん（故・佐藤栄作）が、どういう理由でか全然わか
らないけど、とにかくノーベル平和賞をもらったことで、あの「平和
賞」が「平和島競艇の賞」ていどのチンケなものであることも、歴史
的に立証されているわけだし。（佐藤栄作首相に対して、国会質疑
の場で「エ〜ちゃんと呼んでもイイですか」とパフォーマンスしたのは、
当時、青島幸夫とならぶ高得票でタレント議員時代のさきがけを作
った横山ノックだったけど、自分が「エロちゃん」になってどうすん
ねん……。）
金大中氏の受賞は、私も正直いって感動しましたが、だけど政治
力学は、そうした感動的セレモニーをも利用（搾取）して展開して
いくわけで……。 ノーベル賞騒ぎに続いて、雪崩のように欧米の
対朝鮮コミットが噴出しているのは、なんといっても不気味です。
そんなに南北朝鮮の“和平”にコミットしたければ、外野が出てくる
チャンスはこれまで腐るほどあったのに、そういう時期には南北対
立に拍車をかけるようなまねをしておいて、中東問題で欧米諸国内
でも「テロ」や民族衝突が噴出している今、その根本の問題に真剣
に取り組もうともせず、朝鮮問題に偽善的なコミットをしてくるのは
どういうわけなのでしょうねぇ。
●ところで、日韓トンネルが、宣伝されているとおり「シベリア鉄道
の東端を日本まで延長する」ことだけが目的だとするなら、そんな
もの、意味ないじゃん、って思うんですけどね。ゼネコン救済以外
に経済的なメリットがあるのだろうか？ ど〜せ、馬鹿森が「ASEM
Railway」だ、なんてコクサイテキ（国災的）な横文字名称を唱えて
しまった以上、ベクテルあたりが仕事をとっちまうのは、もう見えて
いることだろうし。 馬鹿森のことだから、これで米国共和党の土建
マフィアに恩を売ったとでも思っているのかも知れないが……。
●場違いな「シベリア鉄道」という言葉からは、私なんぞは水野ハル
オちゃんの“なかなか動かないシベリア鉄道サスペンス”映画しか、
連想できないのでありました。 もれっ！

World's longest undersea tunnel could link Japan and South Korea
SEOUL, Oct 20 (AFP) -
Japan and South Korea on Friday proposed building the world's longest undersea tunnel between the two countries to extend the Trans-Siberian railway to Japan, officials said.
The 180-kilometer (112-mile) long railway tunnel would link Japan's main western island of Kyushu with the southern edge of the Korean peninsula under the Sea of Japan.
"The construction is technically possible, but the problem is money," Japan's Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori said during a lunch meeting of leaders at the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) in Seoul.
Mori proposed calling the tunnel the "ASEM Railway" in honour of the summit, because the railway would eventually link Japan with Europe, a Japanese government official said.
The Japanese leader and President Kim Dae-Jung of South Korea first discussed the sea tunnel project when they met last month at a Japanese hotspring resort near Tokyo, the official said.
"If we can construct a tunnel under the sea between Japan and the Korean peninsula, we will have a railway connecting Japan, Asia and Europe," Kim told Asian and European partners at luncheon.
Mori said "I have a great interest in this project" and wanted to call it the ASEM Railway." The Japanese official said the proposal was welcomed by the other leaders.
South Korea has started work on clearing landmines to reconnect a rail link across the de-militarized zone with North Korea. The link was cut just before the 1950-53 Korean War.
The railway line goes from Seoul to Pyongyang and from there to Shinuiju on the Chinese border. President Kim has several times told of his dream of seeing an "Iron Silk Road" that would take South Korean goods across Siberia to Europe.
Reconnecting the old Seoul-Pyongyang line was agreed at the historic summit in June between the South Korean president and the North's supreme leader Kim Jong-Il.
Since President Kim performed a ground-breaking ceremony on September 18, thousands of South Korean soldiers have started removing landmines to lay a new track.
North Korean soldiers are said to have started clearing ground on the northern side of the border so they too can start work on the rail link.
South Korea wants the cross-border link finished by next year. But experts have said the North Korean rail system would need a massive overhaul to be brought up to international standards.
