Edward Sa'id, the renown Palestinian American Professor, who was made a refugee
in 1948 like the rest of his people. He lived and died (yesterday) trying to
tell people about the most awful injustice for the last century, hoping that
supporters of Israel may one day wake up and stop the Israeli aggression against
the Palestinian people. (Baha Boukhari, Al-Ayyam, 9/26/03).
　エドワード・サイード、有名なパレスチナ系アメリカ人。彼は他の人と
同様1948年に難民として逃れた。そして、彼は生き、そして昨日（9月25
日）死んだ。彼は、人々に前世紀のおぞましい不正義について語りかけよ
うと試み、また、イスラエルを支持する人々がいずれ何時の日か目覚め、
そしてパレスチナの人々へのイスラエルの侵略を阻止するようになるよう
に祈っていたのである。
