30 September 2003:
723 days have passed since America launched its latest Crusade against Islam and its people.
A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
Message From Mullah Umar: "Muslims Should Continue Jihad as Their Religious Obligation"
CHAMAN (AZZAM):
A pamphlet was distributed in southern Afghanistan containing a message from the leader of the Taliban, Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid.
It urged all Muslims across the world and commanders of the Taliban movement to continue their Jihad against the occupying Crusaders, stressing that it was a religious duty to do so.
Mullah Umar stated that Muslims should end the activities of American agents in Afghanistan.
He went onto elaborate that it was in fact an Islamic duty of Muslims to identify such spies, then inform the Taliban Mujahideen so that these filthy traitors may be dealt with in the appropriate manner.
Mullah Umar expressed appeciation at the unity of the Mujahideen who have remained steadfast despite several set-backs.
The message was released by the spokesman for the Mujahideen, Momin.

On the 24th of September a US military convoy was ambushed in the Zadran region of Paktia.
Using missiles and heavy machine gun fire two military vehicles were totally destroyed killing all the US marines on-board.

American Forces Arrest Afghan Police Commander For Following Same Policy As in Camp Delta
KHOST (AZZAM):
As yet another example of the lawlessness that seems to grip any land that American forces invade, an official Afghan police commnder of Khost, Abdul Shakoor was arrested along with three of his aides after a house raid.
Abdul Shakoor is charged with imprisoning between 30-40 people without charge, or trial.
This has been going on for some time, and the American forces only did something once complaints from local residents became relentless.
This hesitancy on the American part is perhaps because the American forces felt it would be hypocritical of them to criticise anyone for imprisoning people indefinately without charge or trial, given Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
The Police Commander would only release prisoners who were able to pay their ransom.
Fresh US Troops Arrive
KABUL (AZZAM):
