原題は『Searching Jenin：
Eyewitness Accounts of the Israeli Invasion April 2002』
ラムジー・バラウド氏がまとめた虐殺事件目撃者たちの証言集です。
日本では翻訳される予定があるかどうかもわかりませんが、同書の
紹介サイト（http://www.searchingjenin.com/）を見ると、
このイスラエル軍による虐殺事件の惨[むご]さが伝わってきます。
●この事件の当時、じつは現地で撮影した惨たらしい殺戮の写真も
ネットに掲示されていたのですが、そうした目を覆うような写真は
http://www.searchingjenin.com/ のギャラリーには置かれていないようです。
それにしても、あの虐殺事件の恐るべき実態の片鱗だけでも、
知ることが出来ます。

The official website for Ramzy Baroud's book entitled "Searching Jenin,
Eyewitness Accounts of the Israeli Invasion April 2002" has officially be
launched. SearchingJenin.com, is a lovely and exhaustive site, which
provides image galleries, forums and daily updated news from Palestine.
The book can be purchased directly from the site.
"We have been extremely pleased with the success of the book so far," said
Suzanne Baroud, assistant editor of the book, "and we hope that this site
will serve as a resource for those who may be skeptical of what happened
in Jenin, or for those who don't buy the book, but still want to read some
eyewitness narratives of what actually happened there."
In a recent review by Christopher Bollyn of American Free Press, Bollyn
stated, The personal narratives in "Searching Jenin" are replete with
examples of extreme barbarity and testify to what Zogby calls "the savage
cruelty "that "will ultimately define the legacy of this devastated
square mile of earth." The shocking accounts of summary executions and
other war crimes committed in Jenin may one day be used in a court of law
when Israeli war criminals are brought to justice."
SearchingJenin.com, was under construction long before the book was
released, and thanks to the long hours invested and the great talent of
Webmaster, Bilal Chaudry, a very polished, informative and professional
site has been produced.
Upon returning from a very rigorous book tour on the east coast, editor
Ramzy Baroud stated, "Many team members who worked tirelessly to collect
interviews, photographs, and expert statements for "Searching Jenin" have
not had the opportunity to see the final product, as closures and curfews
of the West Bank make it literally impossible to get anything in or out,
even a book. Finally, thanks to the internet, after months and months of
