Malaysian PM:"Israel Should Be Attacked"

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad
told a news conference yesterday in Kuala Lumpur that Israel should be attacked for seeking to acquire nuclear weapons, the Malaysian National News Agency reported.
Referring to the issue of nuclear non-proliferation and the likelihood of an American attack on Iraq, Mohamad said, "One of the things that I do know is that there is no pressure on Israel to do away with their nuclear weapons, but there is so much pressure on other countries".
Alleging that Iraq was the target of "unilateral actions" based solely on "the possibility" that it was seeking to acquire nuclear weapons, Mohamad added, "If you attack a country because of possibilities, then every country is going to be attacked.
They should attack Israel," he said.
