●カブールの爆発で死者20名以上、負傷者は約150名
アフガニスタンの首都カブールで2つの大爆発があり、20人以上の人々が死亡した。
情報省が入居している建物やその近隣の多数の店舗が酷い損害を受けた。
入手した詳細情報によると、最初の爆発は9月5日木曜日のズフルの礼拝の直後、情報省前の駐車場で起きた。
目撃者は、1人のモーターサイクリストが爆発の直前に現場に到着したと語った。
彼のオートバイに爆弾がセットされていたものと思われる。
この爆弾で3人が死亡し、8人が負傷した。
5分後に第2の爆発が計画されていたとは知らない何百人もの人々が現場周辺に集まった。
正確に同じ場所で起きた第二の爆弾は第一の爆発より遥かに大きかった。
目撃者は、二番目の爆弾はトヨタ・カローラにセットされていて、遠隔操作で爆破されたと語った。
この爆発で23人が死んだ。そして1回目の爆発の負傷者を合わせると、およそ150人が負傷した。
その爆発は、カブールで最も賑やかな通りで起きた。
この地域の近くには、情報文化省と情報局、教育省、通信省、そして、有名なPishin Zarホテルがある。
このため、その地区は常に高度警戒状態にあると考えられていて、非常にセンシティブな場所と見なされている。
これはタリバン支配終焉後のカブールで起きた最大の爆弾攻撃だった。死者の数は最初の報告よりも多いだろうと思われる。
●コーストの米軍基地にミサイル攻撃
我々の情報筋によると、9月6日金曜日の午後2時頃、2発のミサイルがコースト空港の米軍基地に射ち込まれた。
現時点では、死者・負傷者の数はわかっていない。
●カルザイ暗殺未遂
アフガニスタン暫定政権大統領ハミッド・カルザイは、カンダハルで暗殺を逃れた。カンダハル知事グル・アガは首を撃たれた。
全部で15人が死んだ。その中には3人の米兵が含まれる。
カルザイのアメリカ人の護衛の発砲で、アタッカーの1人と2人の人（攻撃に無関係な人）が死んだ。
CNNによると、アフガン軍の制服を着たアフガン人ガードマンが、カンダハル知事グル・アガ（彼もカルザイと一緒にいた）の家から出てきたカルザイのほうに向かって3度発砲した。
負傷したグル・アガは直ちに合衆国空軍基地へ搬送され、そこで緊急治療を受けた。
カルザイは、彼の弟アーメド・アリ・カルザイの結婚式に出席するためにカンダハルにいた。
米兵による報復的な発砲で多くの民間人が負傷した。ハミッド・カルザイは市民に命を助けて貰った礼を述べた。
BBCのアナリストによると、カルザイがカンダハル（カルザイの故郷）に居ることが安全でないなら、アフガニスタンの現在の治安状態は（それから）明確に判断できるということだ。
現在、彼の行動範囲はカブールの彼のオフィスに限定された。
ハミッド・カルザイがこの攻撃で負傷し、直ちにカンダハルの空軍基地からカブールへ運ばれたという未確認のレポートもいくつかある。

In the wake of 2 massive explosions in Kabul, the Afghan capital, over 20 people were killed, while approximately 150 were injured.
The building which housed the Ministry of Information was badly damaged, as were many nearby shops.
According to the details available, the first explosion occurred in car park infront of the Ministry of Information, just after Dhuhr prayers, on Thursday 5th September.
Eyewitness reports narrate that a lone motorcyclist arrived at the scene just prior to the explosion.
It is thought that the bomb was set in his motorcycle.
This bomb killed 3 and wounded 8.
Immediately a crowd of hundreds gathered around the scene, unaware that 5 minutes later a second bomb was planned.
The second bomb was much larger than the first, and was detonated in exactly the same place.
Eyewitness reports tell of a Toyota Corolla in which the second bomb was planted, and claim it was a remote controlled explosion.
23 people were killed in this explosion, and the injured numbered upto about 150, including the previous explosion.
The explosions were planned to hit one of the busiest streets in Kabul.
This area has located in its vicinity the Ministry of Information & Culture, the Ministry of Intelligence, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Communication and the famous Pishin Zar hotel.
For this very reason it is considered a very sensitive location, where the security is supposed to be high alert at all times.
This was the biggest bomb attack in Kabul after the end of Taliban rule, and it is suspected that the number of dead could be more than the initial statistics received.
Another Missile attack rocked a US Military base in Khost.
According to our sources, at about 2am on Friday 6th September, 2 missiles were fired at a US Base at Khost Airport.
At this moment in time the numbers of injuries and losses are unavailable.
3 US Commandos Killed, Afghan Leaders Escape Assassination Attempt
Hamid Karzai, President of the Afghani Interim Government, escaped a serious assassination attempt in Kandahar, while the Governor of Kandahar, Gul Agha was wounded after being shot in the neck.
In total 15 people were killed, including 3 US Commandos.
The return fire from Karzai's US guards killed one attacker and two other people.According to CNN, an Afghan guard, who was wearing an Afghan military uniform fired 3 times at the direction of Hamid Karzai, as he left the house of Gul Agha, the Governor of Kandahar, who was with him, in a convoy of cars.
The injured Gul Agha was promptly transported to a US Airbase, where he was given urgent medical treatment.
Karzai was in Kandahar attending the wedding of his younger brother, Ahmed Ali Karzai.
After the retaliatory fire by the US Commandos injured many civilians, Hamid Karzai thanked them for saving his life. According to a BBC analyst, if it is not safe for Hamid Karzai to be in Kandahar, which is home town, then the present security conditions in Afghanistan can be clearly judged.
His movement have now been restricted to his office in Kabul.
There are also some unconfirmed reports that Hamid Karzai was also wounded in this attack, and was immediately taken to Kabul from an airbase in Kandahar in a US military aircraft.
