●ペシャワールでソマリア人とスーダン人が逮捕される
イスラマバード（アッザーム）：
ペシャワール警察は2つの別々の手入れでアル・カーイダと関連があると疑われる3人のソマリア人と1人のパキスタン人を逮捕した。
一つ目の手入れは（ソマリア人が逮捕された）ペシャワールの学園都市で起きた。
この手入れで7人の人が逮捕されたという２，３のレポートが届いているが、この時点でこの情報を確認することは出来ない。
当局によれば、カラチ地方生まれのパキスタン人が4個の手榴弾を所持していた。
これらの最近の手入れは、ＦＢＩの少なからぬ助力でなされたと思われる。
●新しいアメリカの情報網
ワシントン（アッザーム）：
合衆国治安当局は現在、郵政局の労働者に彼等の顧客に対するスパイ活動をさせようとして（郵政局の労働者と）議論している。
TIPS作戦（Terrorist Information and Prevention System）では、情報提供者はあらゆる不審な行動を報告するよう依頼されるだろう。
そのような計画は（市民的自由派と保守党派を含む）市民の間にある不安を高めている。
何故なら、このシステムはアメリカの全家庭の情報が握られることを意味するからだ。
FBI Assist In the Arrest of Somalian and Sudanese Citizens in Peshawar

Islamabad (Azzam):
The Peshawar police in two separate raids have arrested three Somalian nationals and 1 Pakistani national suspected of being linked to Al-Qaida.The first raid was in the University town of Peshawar in which the Somalians were arrested.
Some reports are coming in that seven people were arrested during this raid, however, at this point it is not possible to verify this information.
According to authorities, four hand grenades were found on the Pakistani national who is a native of the Karachi region.
It is thought that these recent raids have been made with considerable assistance from the FBI.
New US Intelligence Network
Washington (Azzam):
Homeland Security officials are currently in discussions with postal workers amongst others in a bid to get them to start spying on their customers.
In operation TIPS (Terrorist Information and Prevention System) informers will be asked to report any suspicious activity.
Such plans have raised concerns amongst an array of people,including Civil Liberty and Conservatives Groups as this system will mean that information will be held on every house in the USA.
