●トラボラの地雷爆発で7名死亡
バンヌー（通信員）：
トラボラの山岳地帯でアル・カーイダとタリバン工作員に対する活動をしていたアメリカ軍の車輌が地雷の爆発で破壊された。
爆発で車輌は完全にバラバラになり、乗っていた7人の兵士全員が死亡した。
連合軍からは何の声明も出されていなし、この攻撃で殺された兵士の国籍もまだわかっていない。
●パキスタンの北ワジルスタン部族地域に英軍到着
バンヌー（通信員）：
パキスタンの北ワルジスタン部族地区のワナに兵員を輸送している数機のヘリコプターが到着したのが目撃された。
その部隊はパキスタン-アフガニスタン境界沿いで捜索活動中の部隊の一部である。
『テロ』との関連を疑われて逮捕された人たちは、アル・カーイダとタリバン指導部の行方を詳細に尋問される。
高度な情報に通じた情報筋は、15人の米特殊部隊員が作戦を監督する為にワナに来たと報告してきた。
この地域で軍事行動をしているパキスタン-アメリカ軍に対する地元民の憎悪と怒りが大きくなっている。
そして、地元の部族民は宗教機関のまわりにチェックポイントとガード・ポストを設置した。
多くのウラマー（宗教の学者）が不正に逮捕され、アル・カーイダおよびタリバンとの関連疑惑について尋問されたとの報告がきた。
逮捕されたウラマーの大部分は釈放されたが、情報筋は数名のウラマーと学生がまだアメリカに拘留されていると明かした。
地元民は、パキスタンの特殊部隊がアメリカと完全と一緒になってこの活動に参加していることを嫌悪しつつ認めた。
●バス爆破で19名死亡 − カラチ
カラチ（デイリー・イスラム）：
水曜日の朝、パキスタン海軍のバスがカラチのシェラトン・ホテル付近で爆破された。
全部で19人が死亡した（フランス国民が11人、ストリート・チルドレンが2人、パキスタン人の女性が1人と男性4名、身元不明者が1人）。
事件の詳細は次の通りだ：
水曜日の朝7：45頃にPNSのディラワール4203部隊の海軍のバスはカラチのアバリ・タワー・ホテルからPN造船所へ外国人を運んでいた。
バスがシェラトン風のホテルに近づいたときにトヨタ・カローラ（モデル73）がバスに突っ込んできて爆発した。
爆発は非常に激しく、完全に車とバスを破壊し遺骸の多くは回収出来なかった。
そのバスは爆風でシェラトン・ホテルのドアまで飛ばされた。
バスの残骸と人の身体の一部が襲撃現場周辺に広範囲にわたって散らばった。
その爆発は非常に大きく、車があった場所には深い穴が出来、シェラトン・ホテルとパール・コンチネンタル・ホテルの窓全部を粉砕した。
どこのグループも犯行声明を出していない。
この酷い攻撃にショックを受けた外国人は国を去り始めた。
シェラトン・ホテルに投宿してテスト・シリーズを始めるところだったニュージーランドのクリケット・チームは試合をキャンセルして直ちにパキスタンを去った。
当局は、10人のパキスタン人と12人の外国人がこの爆発で重傷を負ったと述べた。
死亡したフランス人は全員、政府の潜水艦建造プロジェクトに従事していた各分野のエキスパートたちだった。
7 Coalition Soldiers Killed in Landmine Explosion in Tora Bora

An American military vehicle was destroyed in a landmine explosion while engaged in an operation against Al-Qaida and Taliban operatives in the mountainous Tora Bora region.
The explosion, which completely ripped apart the vehicle, resulted in deaths of all seven soldiers onboard at the time.
No statement has been released by the coalition members and the nationalities of the soldiers killed in the attack are not yet known.
More US And British Troops Arrive In North Waziristan Tribal Region Of Pakistan

Several helicopters carrying the troops were seen arriving at Wana, a tribal region in North Waziristan, Pakistan.
The troops are part of the ongoing search operations along the Pak-Afghan borders.
Those arrested of having suspected 'terror' links are interrogated for details on the whereabouts of the Al-Qaida and Taliban leadership.
Highly informed sources reported that upto fifteen commanders of the U.S. special forces have arrived at Wana to oversee the operations.
There has been growing hatred and anger among the locals against the Pak-U.S. forces operating in the area, and local tribesmen have set up checkpoints and gaurdposts around religious institutions.
It has been reported that many of the Ulema (religious scholars) have been falsely arrested and interrogated about their supposed links to Al-Qaida and the Taliban.
Although many of those arrested have been released, sources have revealed that some Ulema and students are still in U.S. custody.
The Locals have confirmed with disgust that Pakistani commandos are fully participating with the U.S. in these operations.
Bomb Blast in Karachi Kills 19, Shocks Foreigners Inside Country
Karachi (Daily Islam):
A Pakistan Navy bus was destroyed due to a terrible bomb explosion on Wednesday morning near the Sheraton Hotel in Karachi.
In all, nineteen people were killed - eleven French nationals, two street children, one woman and four men of Pakistani nationality, and one unknown man.
According to details, on Wednesday morning at around 7:45 AM the Navy bus of PNS Dilawar Unit 4203 was carrying foreigners from Hotel Avari Towers, Karachi, to the PN Dockyard.
When the bus was near the Sheraton Hotel, a Toyota Corolla model 73 car rammed into the bus and exploded.
The explosion, which completely destroyed both the car and bus, was so intense that remains of many of the dead were not recovered.
The power of the explosion threw the bus back against the doors of the Sheraton.
Wreckage and human body parts were strewn over a large area around the scene of the attack.
The explosion was so large it created a deep crater where the car was, and shattered all the windows of both the Sheraton and Pearl Continental hotels.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Foreigners, shocked by the terrible attack, have started leaving the country.
The New Zealand cricket team who were staying at the Sheraton hotel and were about to begin a test series, cancelled their matches and left Pakistan immediately.
A government official stated that ten Pakistanis and twelve foreigners sustained severe injuries in the explosion.
The dead French nationals were all working on a submarine manufacturing project for the government and were experts in their fields.
