●イスラム学者が反対する部族地区内の作戦

アメリカとパキスタンの特殊部隊によるタリバンおよび外国人聖戦士捜索のニュースはワジルスタン北部とパキスタンの全トライバル地区の住民を益々怒らせている。
その地域のイスラム学者はこの作戦に完全に反対する構えをとった。
アフガニスタン情勢のアナリスト ラヒームッラー・ユウスフ・ザイは、ムシャラフがこれらの共同作戦を認可したあと、部族地区全域-特に北ワジルスタン地域-で凄まじい怒り、公然たる怒りが見られたと金曜日の夜に話した。
彼は、合衆国の軍用機と軍隊がこの地域に展開した場合、情勢は非常に不安定になり最悪の事態へ向かうだろうと付け加えた。
地元のウラマー（イスラム学者）は米国とその同盟に部族地区での活動を許可したパキスタン政府の決定に反対するために人々を呼び集めた。
しかし、ラヒームッラーはマレーシア軍を帯同したパキスタン特殊部隊がワルジスタン北部のミーランシャー地域周辺で、3日前に米軍基地をロケット攻撃した犯人の捜索活動をしていたと話した。
米海兵隊員はミーランシャー近くの大学ビルに駐留していた。この攻撃による損害の報告はない。
しかし、パキスタンに戦争が広がるリスクの増加と共にその事件はパキスタン政府内に波紋を起こした。
●アメリカのトライバル・エリア非武装化作戦

信頼できる筋によれば、アメリカはパキスタンのN.W.F.Pの全部族地区を武器のフリー・ゾーンにするという大がかりな政策活動を始めた。
その理由が、この地域で進行中の軍事行動および将来の軍事行動に対する危険を最小限に留めることにあるのは明らかである。
他の信頼できる筋はazzam.comに、ペシャワールに隣接するバラやダラ・アダム・ヘル、ランディ・オタルのような部族地区に地元民から武器（それをアフガンに送って破壊する為に）を高値で買おうとするアメリカのエージェントが流入していると話した。
我々はこれまでにおよそ10,000丁のカラシニコフ、100基のロケット発射装置と650丁以上のピストルがいろいろな部族地区から買い上げられてアフガニスタンのバグラムへ運ばれ、破壊されたとの報告を受けている。
本当に、不信心者は構想を練り計画を立てる。しかし、アッラーは彼等に出来る範囲を遥かに超えて最高のプランナーであられる。
●英国軍、スナイプ作戦を開始
バグラム(イスラム・ニュース）：
金曜日、英国軍はアフガン南東部の険しい山岳地帯でタリバンおよび外国人聖戦士に対する作戦を開始した。
ポール・ハリー・ディーン中尉（英海兵隊のスポークスマン）はジャーナリストに、スナイプ作戦最初の4日間は情報収拾とバグラム空軍基地からの英兵の集結に充てられると話した。
何千人もの合衆国と英国の軍隊がこの基地にいる点に注意しなけでばならない。

U.S. Military Operations in Tribal Regions Opposed by Islamic Scholars
PESHAWAR(Online/Monitoring Desk):
There is now increasing anger amongst the natives of Northern Waziristan and all tribal regions of Pakistan on the news of joint operations by US and Pakistan Commandos in search for Taliban and Foreign Mujahideen.
Islamic scholars of the region have prepared themselves to fully oppose this operation.
An analyst for Afghan affairs Raheemullah Yousuf Zai said on friday night that after these joint operations were confirmed by Musharaf, immense public anger was seen amongst natives of all tribal regions, specifically from those in the North Waziristan region.
He added that when US warplanes and troops would deploy in the region, the situation would become very unstable and take a turn for the worst.
The Ulema (Islamic scholars) of the region have been rallying the people to oppose the Pakistani government's decision in allowing the US and its allies to carry out an operation in these tribal areas.
However, Raheemullah said that Pakistani Commandos accompanied by Malaysian troops had been carrying out search operations around the region of Meeranshah, which is in North Waziristan, in search for those who had attacked a US Military base with rocket fire three days ago.
US Marines had been staying at a college building near Meeranshah and no losses have been reported by this attack, but it has caused ripples within the Pakistani government, with what is becoming an increasing risk of war spreading into Pakistan.
U.S. to Implement Disarmament Strategy in Tribal Regions of Pakistan
PESHAWAR(Special Correspondent):
According to reliable sources, the U.S. have initiated a great policy drive in attempting to make all tribal regions of the N.W.F.P in Pakistan as weapon free zones.
The obvious reason being to minimize the risk of ongoing and future U.S. Military operations in the region.
Other reliable sources have told azzam.com that tribal regions adjacent to Peshawar like Bara, Darra Adam Khel and Landi Kotal have reported an influx of U.S. agents wishing to purchase weapons from locals at very high rates so that they may be sent to Afghanistan to be destroyed.
Hence, we have been receiving figures that around 10,000 Klashnikov guns, 100 rocket launchers and over 650 handguns have been purchased from various tribal regions so far and have been transferred to Bagram in Afghanistan, where they are apparently being destroyed.
Indeed the disbelievers plot and plan, but Allah is the Best of Planners and Over and Above all that they can amass.
British Troops Begin Operation Snipe
BAGRAM(Islam News):
British troops on Friday have started an operation in the difficult mountainous terrain of the South Eastern Afghan region against Taliban and Foreign Mujahideen.
A Royal Marine Spokesman Lt. Col Paul Hary Dien, whilst speaking to journalists, said that the initial four days of Operation Snipe were reserved for gathering intelligence and amassing British troops from Bagram Airbase.
It must be noted that thousands of US and British troops are present at this Military base.
