US SUPPORTING COMMANDER KILLED AS FIGHTING CONTINUES IN GARDEZ
KHOST(Islam Correspondent) :
According to information received from Afghanistan, the Khost province is under severe disturbance.
Shops and markets were closed in the province for the last 3 days.
Commander Mandozai, vice of Commander Zakeem Khan, was killed along with his two guards on Thursday, while three other people were severely injured.
This attack was at the Shimal bridge near the Khost shopping center.
Commander Zakeem's supporters have blamed Khost's governor Badshah Khan's fighters for this.
Here the local traders have closed their shops and business activities also for the last three days.
According to information received, Khost is under severe disturbance where no one cares for no one.
On the other hand, the US and its coalition allies are becoming increasingly terrified with the frequent guerrilla raids of the Mujahideen.
Although the US has assured the traders of that they would restore peace, the locals said this was not satisfactory as they believe that since the US failed to safe guard their own lives, how could they restore peace in the region.
COUNTRIES OF HELD PRISONERS DO NOT WISH TO TAKE THEM BACK
GUANTANAMO BAY(Foreign Report) :
According to US military officials, the native countries of those Al-Qaida prisoners who are being held in Camp X- Ray, Cuba, are not showing interest to take them back.
The US Brigadier General of Custodial Mission at Camp X-ray who resigned from his post, said in a Press conference that
33 countries of the world whose approximately 300 citizens are held in this camp as being suspects of members of Al- Qaida network, are not showing any positive interest to take these citizens back because the majority of these countries said that if these men were taken back, their return will be like "Heroes" which will give rise to more complexities for these governments.
He said that some countries like Saudi Arabia have shown an interest to conduct trials against its held citizens and thus they only have demanded the hand over of its citizens.
