これって本当にテレサ・テン?
オレは違うと思うんだけど。
単なるプリントミスかも。

以下、彼(彼女)のコメントね。
This unique version of "Tuberoses" in HQ sound is unlike any other I have heard, including her own earlier versions. Teresa's Jazz style here is completely new to me, and I recommend you listen to this in your headphones. Teresa's microphone technique, enunciation and breathing control are remarkable, leaving the impression that she is actually there next to you. I was brought up on Li Xianglan's definitive 'Tuberoses', but Teresa's interpretation and improvisation has left a deep impression on me. I had to play this several times to work out what was 'happening' here.
I have trawled the internet, but cannot find out when this was recorded, or any other details about it, including the name of the male singer who improvises for 45 seconds, in between Teresa's two renditions. A mystery to be unravelled in due course. I came across it via a compilation "Usher Audio Be There Vol 2 " from 2005, which also includes "North Travels" as Teresa's other song there. Usher recordings are renowned for their sound quality.
Teresa Teng, Teng Li-Chun, was born in Baozhong, Yunlin County, Taiwan, to a mainland Chinese family from Hebei on January 29, 1953. By the age of 18, Teresa had already recorded 21 albums, having started as a 14-year-old in 1967. Teresa sang all types of songs with equal expertise and feeling, and in several different languages. She truly deserved the accolades she received, and although she only lived for 42 years, she left us with the most beautiful of treasures. I like this tribute particularly.
"She has left us for 16 years, but her smile, song and dance are still alive among Chinese people and touch the softest chord of our souls. When we listen to her songs and respond from the bottom of our heart, we find that she is already a part of our life". Teresa influenced Chinese society so much as a singer that she was honored by the expression "Anywhere there are Chinese people, there are Teresa Teng's songs". In 2010, American program CNN conducted an online poll called the "Top Five Global Music Icons". Teresa, along with Leslie Cheung, was selected for the Top 20 world famous prominent singers in the past 50 years. Quite simply, she was unique.
でも、仮にそうだとしても、オレはやっぱりこっちの方が好きね。
