イラン女性Nedaさんの不可解な死
現在、欧州の各マスコミは、６月２０日にテヘランで死亡した２６才の哲学科学生Neda Salehi Agha Soltanさん（当初は１６才と伝えられたが２６才の誤り）を映したビデオ映像にあふれています。
ある人物によって撮影されたこのビデオは、彼女の死の直後にYouTubeに登場しました。その経過は後でご紹介するGuardianの記事に書かれています。ただ、現在YouTubeを見ますとNedaを扱ったビデオがいくつか出ており（たぶん今後は爆発的に増えるでしょう）、どれが最初のものなのかいまのところ分かりません。最初のYoutubeビデオと思われる映像を見つけた方はお知らせください。テレビではさんざんに見ていますが。
そして、（さすがというか何というか）あのWikipediaには彼女の死の２日後には次のような欄が作られています。

たしかに痛ましい出来事です。（LA Timesがこの冬にガザでイスラエルによって残虐に意図的に殺された何百人もの子どもや女性に対してこれほどの感動的な記事を書いたのかどうかは知りませんが。）
これらの記事で現在までに知ったことを簡単にまとめてみましょう。
Nedaさんは全くのいわゆるノンポリで、政治的にはとちらの陣営にもついていなかった様子です。

On June 20, 2009, Neda, an islamic philosophy student, was sitting in her car in traffic on Kargar Avenue in the city of Tehran, near the Amir-Abad area, accompanied by her music teacher and close friend, Hamid Panahi. Having gotten out of the car because of the excessive heat, she was allegedly targeted and shot in the chest by plain-clothes Basij paramilitaries who were attempting to subdue the protesters. Neda's last words were:

Undated amateur videos depicting Neda collapsing to the ground, being tended to, and dying as her lungs filled with blood from the wound, were uploaded to Facebook and YouTube, and spread across the internet virally.
The videos were accompanied by a message from a doctor, allegedly a frontline physician during the Iran-Iraq war, who claimed to have been present during the incident:
At 19:05 June 20th Place: Kargar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st. A young woman who was standing aside with her father [SIC, later identified as her music teacher] watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart. I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim’s chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes. The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gass used among them, towards Salehi St. The film is shot by my friend who was standing beside me. Please let the world know."
Discussions about Neda on Twitter, using a hashtag of #neda became one of the "'trending topics'" by the end of the day on June 20, 2009. Neda's death was not reported by the state-controlled Iranian media, but was reported by international media. CNN has shown the video multiple times, both with and without censoring of the blood as it poured out of her mouth and nose.

これによりますと、Nedaの友人である音楽の先生（最初は父親とされていた）および親友と一緒に自動車に乗っていましたが、車の中があまりにも暑いので外に出ました。そしてここから先は、ビデオにある（という）イラン・イラク戦争従軍外科医を名乗る人物のメッセージから得た情報です。
彼女と親友、そして音楽の先生はデモ隊を眺めていたのですが、民家の屋根にいたbasij（革命防衛隊の配下にある民兵部隊）の狙撃手によって、胸を一発で打ち抜かれた、ということです。ビデオはこの外科医を名乗る人物の友人が映したことになっています。
しかし、この医者が、民家の屋根にいた狙撃主をどうしてbasijと判断したのでしょうか？
この文面には書かれていませんし、いくつかの新聞を読む限りではその判断が書かれたものはありません。
また、彼女を意図して狙い胸を一発で打ち抜くのはものすごい腕前だと思いますが、その「民家の屋根」はよほど近いところにあったのでしょうか？
さらに、デモに参加している活動家ではなく、政治的にはどちらにもついていない彼女を、basijがどうして狙って殺す必要があったのでしょうか？
次に、Guardianからです。記事を書いているのはRobert Tait and Matthew Weaverとなっています。

"He asked me, is it possible to publish everything right now," Hamed said. "I published it on YouTube and Facebook and five minutes later it started to get many emails and messages and it published everywhere.

これによりますと、Nedaは携帯電話でしゃべっていたようです。そしてHamed（WikipediaでHamidとなっている人物か）の友人（名前は分からない）が携帯電話で撮影しました。このHamed氏はan Iranian asylum seeker in the Netherlandsですから、オランダ大使館に亡命希望で逃げ込んだのかもしれません。でも、最初から亡命覚悟でビデオサイトにアップしたのでしょうか？ まったく躊躇していなかった様子ですが･･･。
それにしても彼は大変な早業でYouTubeとFacebookにビデオをアップしたようです。このような活動には相当に熟練している人のようです。いったいどんな人物なのでしょうか、この人は？
（ほぼ戒厳令状態に近い今のイランで、インターネットが正常に使えるのかな？ 政府によって何らかの妨害が行われていなかったっけ？ ビデオサイトへのアップくらいなら問題なくできるのかな？ 技術的なことはよく分かりませんが･･･。）
そしてWikipediaによりますと、そのビデオがビデオサイトにアップされてからじきに、ＣＮＮが何度も何度も報道したようです。今週に入って、スペインのテレビニュースではどのチャンネルも必ず血まみれになった彼女の顔が写されています。
たしかに痛ましい出来事なのですが、それにしても不可解なことが多いようですね。新聞の中にはNedaを「イランのジャンヌダルク」と書いているものもありました。ジャンヌダルクはフランス軍を率いて英国と闘った伝説的な英雄ですが、この非政治的な女性を勝手に「革命の英雄」に祭り上げるつもりなのでしょうか？ それこそ死者に対する冒涜ではないでしょうか。
私としては、今は疑問だけを掲げておきます。続報とともに、様々な方面からの新たな分析を待ちましょう。
