Taliban gun down 5 US servicemen

The Taliban claim that they have recently shot and killed five US servicemen in Paktia province, in southeastern Afghanistan.

Taliban forces ambushed a convoy of US troopers and gunned down five US servicemen on Friday night, IRIB quoted Taliban Spokesperson Zabiyollah Mojahed,who sent an SMS to Pastun radio station announcing the attack.

Another Taliban Spokesperson, Qari Yusuf Ahmadi, claimed that Taliban forces have launched surprise attacks on four military outposts in Dey Chopan city of Zabul province, in the southern parts of the country, inflicting heavy casualties on government forces.
