US Marine reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet near al-Fallujah Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted on its website Wednesday, Quds Press reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US Marine in the village of al-Halabisah, to the west of al-Fallujah. A second American Marine was wounded in the same attack at 9am local time Wednesday morning.
A puppet police captain told Quds Press that the US Marines were on a “security operation” in the village when they were shot. He said that after the first Marine was killed another Marine tried to recover the body and he was then wounded.
As of the time of reporting the area where the attack occurred was still sealed off and US forces were carrying out arbitrary roundups and arrests of young men, turning the Bilal ibn Rabbah School into a temporary detention center where the Americans interrogate the captive local youths.

In a dispatch posted on its website Wednesday, Quds Press reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a US supply convoy in the area of a branch of the Tigris River north of al-Fallujah on Wednesday morning.
A source in the Iraqi puppet regime army told Quds Press that Resistance men ambushed a US military supply convoy in the al-Jazirah area near a branch of the Tigris River north of al-Fallujah with rockets and medium weapons. Four large gasoline tankers and one truck loaded with food supplies were destroyed in the attack.
The source said that four Asian drivers were killed in the ambush that also left four other drivers wounded. The Resistance attackers then withdrew from the area.
Afterwards, US forces surrounded the scene where the attack had taken place and launched a campaign of raids, searches, and arrests, believing that the attackers were still holed up in the area.

Judge in charge of trying cases of Iraqi Resistance fighters severely wounded in car bomb attack in al-Hillah Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 10:18am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that a car bomber detonated an explosives-laden car by the judge ‘Uqayl Wattut in the city of al-Hillah, 100km south of Baghdad on Wednesday morning, killing two of his body guards and wounding eight more people − indluding Judge Wattut himself.
The AMSI reported a source in the puppet “Scorpion Brigades” as saying that the judge was severely wounded and taken to a field hospital run by the Americans for treatment.
Judge Wattut is a judge specially designated to hear cases of “terrorism” − which is the terminology used by the US-installed regime to refer to Iraqi Resistance activity. He has received numerous death threats for a long time as a result of his activity against the Iraqi Resistance in the courts in al-Hillah.

Two car bombs blast US, puppet Iraqi troops in Ninwa Province Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted on its website Wednesday, Quds Press reported that the Iraqi Resistance mounted two car bomb attacks on patrols of US and puppet Iraqi forces in the northern province of Ninwa on Wednesday morning.
Quds Press reported a spokesman for the puppet regime as telling the press that one explosives-laden car went off in the al-Ba‘aj area, about 130km southwest of al-Mawsil.
A second car bomb exploded in the area of Rabi‘ah, northwest of al-Mawsil, near the Syrian border. The spokesman said that large numbers of dead and wounded resulted from both attacks that targeted US and puppet Iraqi patrols.
The source said that the puppet authorities in Rabi‘ah imposed a curfew and closed the international highway to their area. They also called in US help to evacuate the wounded.
