Six civilians reported killed in mysterious mortar attacks throughout Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 10:26pm Baghdad time Thursday evening, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that six civilians were killed and 13 more of them wounded when mortar shells of unknown origin blasted into various areas of Baghdad.
The AMSI reported a source in the puppet police as saying that shells landed in the al-Bayya‘, al-‘Amil, at-Tubji, al-Karakh, al-Fadl, as-Sadriyah, al-Karradah ash-Sharqiyah, ar-Rashad, and az-Za‘faraniyah area besides ar-Rusafah.
US admits two more American troops killed in Baghdad Wednesday, Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 9:10pm Baghdad time Thursday evening, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the US military had admitted that one more American occupation soldier had been killed in Baghdad on Thursday.
The AMSI reported a US communique´ as announcing that a bomb had exploded in Baghdad killing one soldier and wounding a second when both of them were near their vehicle. In keeping with the US policy of concealing facts regarding its losses in Iraq, the American statement offered few details.
Earlier, in a dispatch posted at 9:10am Baghdad time Thursday morning, the AMSI reported that an American communique´ had reported that the Iraqi Resistance had killed one more of its soldiers and wounded four more of them in an attack in eastern Baghdad on Wednesday.
The AMSI reported the American statement admitted that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road exploded during a clash between Resistance men and US occupation troops.
Unexplained car bomb explodes in religiously mixed distrtic of Baghdad midday Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:07pm Baghdad time Thursday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that a car bomb exploded in the al-Mansur district of Baghdad at midday Thursday.
The AMSI reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the blast killed four people and wounded 10 more, in addition to damaging a number of homes and private cars in the upscale district in which Sunni and Shi‘i Iraqis reside.

In a dispatch posted at 8:25am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded at a bus stop in southern Baghdad’s al-Bayya‘ district early Thursday.
A dispatch posted at 2:07pm Baghdad time Thursday afternoon by the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq said that the toll in the mysterious bombing had as of that hour risen to 25 dead and 40 injured in the blast in the predominantly Shi‘i area.

US-backed puppet regime troops kill boy, ailing elderly man, and shoot up western part of Samarra’ on Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:09pm Baghdad time Thursday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that a puppet Iraqi army sniper perched atop a building in Samarra’, 120km north of Baghdad, shot and killed a 15-year-old boy at 1:30pm local time Wednesday afternoon.
The AMSI reported the boy, Mustafa Isma‘il Ibrahim al-‘Alwan al-Badri, was coming out of the building housing the Public Company for the Manufacture of Appliances in Samarra’, where he worked on contract. The sniper’s bullet struck him in the chest, killing him instantly.
Then on Wednesday afternoon the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” killed a shaykh in his sixties at the Maryam Street junction. Al-Hajj Razuq Muhammad as-Salawi, who suffered from several ailments, was sitting on a chair in front of his house at the time of the killing, after which the puppet “Shock Troops” deliberately set his home on fire.
AMSI reported that puppet regime troops also set several private cars on fire after shooting up various neighborhoods in western Samarra’.

Al-Miqdadiyah.
Shi‘i sectarian militias destroy Sunni mosque in al-Miqdadiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:32pm Baghdad time Thursday evening, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Shi‘i sectarian militias attacked the Sunni Khalil Salih Mosque in the eastern part of al-Miqdadiyah, 85km northeast of Baghdad on Wednesday-Thursday night.
The AMSI reported sources in the local puppet police as saying that members of the Shi‘i sectarian militias planted explosives around the mosque, which was located in the al-‘Askari neighborhood of the city. The explosion completely destroyed the house of worship, but caused no casualties.
Salman Bak.
Twenty beheaded bodies discovered in Salman Bak.
In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the puppet police had announced the discovery of 20 beheaded bodies on the banks of the Tigris River in the town of Salman Bak, 35km southeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that local residents found the corpses and informed the puppet police who were still trying to identify the dead as of the time of reporting. Mafkarat al-Islam noted that the discovery of headless bodies is a common occurrence in Iraq, but for so large a number to appear at one time was unusual. Iraqi Resistance groups have on several occasions beheaded US soldiers, puppet troops, and collaborators.

Three British troops killed in al-Basrah early Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 9:45am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the British occupation forces announced Thursday that three of its troops had been killed when a bomb that had been planed on a road in al-Basrah went off.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported a British spokesman as saying that the bomb exploded by soldiers on foot in southern al-Basrah early Thursday morning.
