Baghdad.
US admits three more American troops killed in Iraq on Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:03am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters killed three US troops in two separate assaults on Sunday, the Ameircan occupation admitted Monday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US military issued a communique´ in which it admitted that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military vehicle in Baghdad. A third American soldier was wounded in that attack, the American command reported.
A second Iraqi Resistance bomb went off by American troops on an operation in at-Ta’mim Province in northern Iraq, killing a third American soldier. In keeping with Washington’s practice of concealing the facts regarding its casualties, the Pentagon released no further details about the deaths.
Mysterious car bombs kill three in southwestern Baghdad’s as-Sayyidiyah Monday.
In a dispatch posted on its website Monday, Quds Press reported that two car bombs that had been parked near a fuel station in the southwestern Baghdad district of as-Sayyidiyah blew up, killing and wounding local people.
A source in the puppet police told Quds Press that two explosives-laden cars that had been parked in front of the fuel station on Monday were detonated by remote control. The blast killed three people and wounded seven more. Iraqi puppet police then surrounded the area and prevented anyone from approaching as ambulances raced to the scene to evacuate the injured.
This was the first bombing following the lifting of the officially-imposed curfew that was in place from Wednesday until Sunday following the suspicious bombing of the Shi‘i Shrine of the Two Imams in Samarra’ on Wednesday, 13 June.
Salah ad-Din Province.
Yathrib.
Resistance fighters kill three puppet police in assault on checkpoint Monday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 9:48pm Baghdad time Monday evening, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters assaulted a puppet army checkpoint near Yathrib, 70km north of Baghdad.
The AMSI reported a source in the puppet police as saying that Resistance men driving two Toyota pickups attacked the checkpoint located between Balad and Yathrib after noon on Monday, killing three puppet troops. The remaining puppet regime soldiers fled as the Resistance men began their attack.

The AMSI reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the puppet officer was led away to an unknown destination.
Samarra’.
Puppet troops seize control of Sunni mosque in Samarra’ as sectarian terror boosts exodus of Sunnis.
In a dispatch posted at 9:20pm Baghdad time Monday evening, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” seized the Sunni ar-Risalah Mosque in the al-Mu ‘tasim neighborhood of Samarra’, 120km north of Baghdad on Monday. The puppet “Shock troops” − most of whom are currently members of Shi‘i sectarian militias − also posted snipers in the minaret of the mosque, from which they proceeded to fire their medium weapons indiscriminately at the residents of nearby neighborhoods.
The AMSI reported that a massive exodus of the Sunni population from the largely Sunni western parts of the city of Samarra’ was continuing. The city market had become nearly vacant since shopkeepers were unable to open their stores after US-backed puppet regime Shi‘i sectarian forces took up positions in the market and threatened to kill any “suspicious person” crossing their path.
Medical doctors were also unable to get to the clinics in the al-Qatul neighborhood of western Samarra’ for the sixth day in a row, thanks to the US-backed Shi‘i sectarian occupation of the western part of the city which is a part of the US-Zionist effort to stir up sectarian conflict and partition the country.
Ad-Dulu‘iyah.
Resistance bomb rips through US convoy in ad-Dulu‘iyah Monday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 9:04pm Baghdad time Monday evening, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by a US convoy in the ad-Dulu‘iyah area, 90km north of Baghdad.
The AMSI reported a source in the puppet police as saying that two Iraqi Resistance bombs went off by a US column in ad-Dulu‘iyah after noon on Monday, destroying a Humvee. The vehicle was observed on fire next to the main road between ad-Dulu‘iyah and the Bishkan area to the east.
No information on the nature of deaths or injuries to the Americans from the explosion of the second bomb, which went off near the first, because the US forces had tightly sealed off the area after the first attack.

Al-Miqdadiyah.
US-backed Shi‘i sectarian militias, puppet forces renew attack on villages near al-Miqdadiyah Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 3:49pm Baghdad time Monday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militiamen accompanied by US-backed puppet police and army forces attacked the village of al-‘Akidat in the al-Miqdadiyah area, about 85km northeast of Baghdad, sparking a violent battle with local villagers.
The AMSI reported that the sectarian gunmen and puppet forces were trying to seize control of the town, resuming the attacks that they had launched the day before. As in those attacks, the local residents, equipped only with light arms, rose to defend their village against the US-backed pro-Iranian forces who possessed modern medium and heavy weapons.
The attacks were part of a new drive by US and puppet and sectarian forces against supporters of the Iraqi Resistance in an effort to promote US and Zionist plans to drive Sunnis out of much of central and southern Iraq in order to partition the country.
The idea of “the dissolution of Iraq into a Shi‘ite state, a Sunni state and the separation of the Kurdish part” was voiced by veteran Zionist military correspondent Ze’ev Schiff in Ha'aretz on 2 June 1982 and was a part of the divide-and-rule strategy laid out by Zionist writer Oded Yinon in his “Strategy for Israel in the 1980s,” published in Kivunim (Directions), A Journal for Judaism and Zionism, published by the World Zionist Organization in occupied Jerusalem in February 1982. (It was translated by the late anti-Zionist writer and activist Israel Shahak and is widely available.)
The idea of splitting the Shi‘ah in Iraq from the rest of the country was a cornerstone of the neo-Conservative strategy laid out in “A Clean Break” a paper drawn up by American Zionist government officials Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, David Wurmser, and Paul Wolfowitz in 1996 for the then Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Then in 2000 the neo-Conservative Project for a New American Century wrote Rebuilding America’s Defenses on the basis of the “Clean Break.”
The American version of the strategy for a partition of Iraq appeared in the article “The Three-State Solution” published in The New York Times on 25 November 2003 by Leslie Gelb (President Emeritus of the US Council on Foreign Relations). The same idea was reiterated, this time with “bi-partisan support” in the article by Gelb and US Democratic Senator Joseph Biden in “Unity through Autonomy in Iraq,” in The New York Times on 1 May 2006.
Then on 8 October 2006 the London Sunday Times reported that the partition of Iraq along religious and ethnic lines was one of the suggestions that the Baker-Hamilton commission was advancing.
Ba‘qubah.
Resistance fighters ambush US supply convoy in Ba‘qubah Sunday night.
In a dispatch posted at 12:49pm Baghdad time midday Monday, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters battled US troops in Ba‘qubah on Sunday night.
The AMSI reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters attacked a US truck loaded with concrete barriers near the US base in the at-Tahrir neighborhood of southern Ba‘qubah, 65km northeast of Baghdad. The ambush sparked a violent firefight that left the truck ablaze and all those aboard it dead. Swarms of American helicopters then flew in over the city in an attempt to locate the Resistance fighters.
US tanks destroy houses, mosque in Ba‘qubah, killing five civilians Sunday afternoon.
In a bulletin posted at 12:55am Baghdad time Monday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that US forces had destroyed the Mosque of ‘Abdallah ibn al-Mubarak in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood of Ba‘qubah, 65km northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for AMSI in Ba‘qubah reported that US tanks blasted the mosque on Sunday afternoon, destroying the house of worship along with a number of houses in the area. The American attack killed five civilians, two of them women.
