American helicopter gun ship blasts secondary school in al-Baghdadi, killing seven students taking final exams Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 5:25pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US helicopter gunship attacked an Iraqi schoolhouse in the al-Baghdadi area, about 200km northwest of Baghdad.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police force as saying that seven students were killed in the American air strike and about 11 more were wounded when the helicopter opened fire on the school.
The source said that the American helicopter gun ship had come under fire from the ground on Tuesday morning, damaging the tail of the aircraft, which was seen on fire. Before landing at an American base, however, the helicopter opened fire on the al-Bahjah Secondary School where students were busy taking final exams.
Local residents described the mood in al-Baghdadi as one of outrage over the deadly attack. As of the time of reporting, the Americans had made no announcement regarding the assault.

As Shi‘i sectarian torture, murder spree continues, 26 bodies found dumped around Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:24pm Baghdad time Tuesday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the puppet police recovered the bodies of 26 people who had been murdered and their bodies dumped in various parts of Baghdad.
The AMSI reported that two of the bodies had been booby-trapped and one of those exploded when puppet policemen approached. That blast wounded one puppet policeman.
AMSI reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the other bodies bore signs of torture and were bound and blindfolded. Torture is a trademark of the Shi‘i sectarian militias and the puppet government’s security forces, most of whose members are drawn from those sectarian militias.
The Shi‘i sectarian militias are pressing ahead with sectarian abductions, torture, and murder of Sunnis in an effort to “cleanse” Baghdad and vast swaths of Iraqi territory to the south and east of Sunnis. The bloody sectarian campaign is aimed at implementation of plans to partition Iraq drawn up by Zionist and American think tanks.
The idea of “the dissolution of Iraq into a Shi‘ite state, a Sunni state and the separation of the Kurdish part” was voiced by veteran Zionist military correspondent Ze’ev Schiff in Ha'aretz on 2 June 1982 and was a part of the divide-and-rule strategy laid out by Zionist writer Oded Yinon in his “Strategy for Israel in the 1980s,” published in Kivunim (Directions), A Journal for Judaism and Zionism, published by the World Zionist Organization in occupied Jerusalem in February 1982. (It was translated by the late anti-Zionist writer and activist Israel Shahak and is widely available.)
The idea of splitting the Shi‘ah in Iraq from the rest of the country was a cornerstone of the neo-Conservative strategy laid out in “A Clean Break” a paper drawn up by American Zionist government officials Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, David Wurmser, and Paul Wolfowitz in 1996 for the then Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Then in 2000 the neo-Conservative Project for a New American Century wrote Rebuilding America’s Defenses on the basis of the “Clean Break.”
The American version of the strategy for a partition of Iraq appeared in the article “The Three-State Solution” published in The New York Times on 25 November 2003 by Leslie Gelb (President Emeritus of the US Council on Foreign Relations). The same idea was reiterated, this time with “bi-partisan support” in the article by Gelb and US Democratic Senator Joseph Biden in “Unity through Autonomy in Iraq,” in The New York Times on 1 May 2006.
Then on 8 October 2006 the London Sunday Times reported that the partition of Iraq along religious and ethnic lines was one of the suggestions that the Baker-Hamilton commission was advancing.
Resistance bomb kills puppet army soldier in al-A‘zamiyah Tuesday after noon.
In a dispatch posted at 11:13pm Baghdad time Tuesday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb expoded by a puppet Iraqi army patrol in the Sunni district of al-A‘zamiyah in Baghdad after noon on Tuesday.
The AMSI reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the attack damaged a patrol vehicle and left one puppet soldier dead and three more of them wounded.

In a dispatch posted at 10:33pm Baghdad time Tuesday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters assaulted a puppet police patrol in the Bab ash-Sham area of northeastern Baghdad on Tuesday evening.
The AMSI reported that the Resistance men sprayed the puppet policemen with bullets, causing a patrol car to burst into flames and burn completely up. The charred bodies of three dead puppet policemen were later found inside

In a dispatch posted at 6:55pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the area around the Republican Palace in downtown Baghdad − where the district that the Americans have dubbed “the Green Zone” is located − has been the target of a series of mortar attacks in recent days.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that several mortar shells blasted into the “Green Zone” on Monday afternoon.
A source in the puppet police said that three soldiers in the Iraqi puppet regime army were wounded when a mortar shell blasted into the Zuyunah area in eastern Baghdad.

Resistance bomb in Ba‘qubah wounds three puppet policemen Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 6:06pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the city of Ba‘qubah, 65km northeast of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the source as saying that a bomb that had been planted near the Ba‘qubah sports stadioum blew up by a passing patrol, damaging a patrol vehicle and wounding three puppet policemen.

Iraqi Resistance blasts third strategic bridge since Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 9:46pm Baghdad time Tuesday evening, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the Iraqi Resistance detonated an explosive device that partially destroyed a key bridge leading south from Baghdad into Babil Province, in what was the third major attack on bridges in the last few days.
The AMSI reported puppet security sources as saying that parts of the bridge linking the al-Haswah (about 33km south of Baghdad in northern Babil Province) with as-Suwayrah (about 50km southeast of Baghdad in neighboring Wasit Province) were destroyed in what might have been a car bomb attack.
On Tuesday a major bridge in Diyala Province was blown up and on Sunday a bridge in Babil Province was blown up.

Resistance fighters kill puppet policeman in al-Huwayjah Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 6:06pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters opened fire on a puppet policeman near the al-Huwayjah Gas Plant in the city of al-Huwayjah, 200km north of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the puppet policeman, who was returning home, was killed in the Resistance attack.
