US military issue journalists in ar-Ramadi official military IDs, insist that all news reports must conform to versions of events issued by US military.
In a dispatch posted at 3:14pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation officials held an enlarged meeting with journalists and correspondents working in the city of ar-Ramadi, the capital of al-Anbar Province located 110km west of Baghdad, on Wednesday where they demanded that they adhere to the stories released by the US military and not spread other information regarding Iraqi Resistance operations.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported journalists as saying that a US commander and spokesman for the occupation forces met with 19 journalists working for local, Arab, and international news agencies. In the course of the meeting, he gave the journalists identity cards produced for them by the US military.
The sources reported that the US officials insisted that all media coverage of events must agree with what the US military announces. In the course of the meeting, an American captain warned the reporters against what he called “coordination” of operations with the Iraqi Resistance, in other words, reports that he believed amounted to direct incitement to acts of what he called terrorism.
Mafkarat al-Islam indicated that the increased effort by the US military to strangle the independent sources of information came as it was becoming more and more difficult for Washington to conceal the death of its soldiers at the hands of the Resistance in Iraq.
Al-Fallujah.
Al-Qa‘idah denies involvement in wave of assassinations sweeping al-Fallujah, blames puppet police forces.
In a dispatch posted at 2:59pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance group the “Islamic State of Iraq” − a movement dominated by al-Qa‘idah − had issued a statement saying that it had nothing to do with assassinations of people that have recently been taking place in al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported sources as saying that the announcement, which was signed by the “Islamic State of Iraq” said that its fighters had nothing to do with assassinations that had left local residents, in particular doctors, officers, and some religious personalities dead. The Resistance group accused the “al-Anbar Salvation Council” puppet police, which was created and is maintained by the US occupation forces, as being behind the killings.
Local sources had noted that bodies of murdered victims had begun to appear in al-Fallujah in recent days, at a rate of about six killings a day. On average every day those include about four dead doctors, engineers, former officers in the pre-occupation Iraqi army, and members of various Muslim religious currents such as fundamentalist Salafis, Sufi mystics, and Muslim Brotherhood members.

US forces admit nine American troops killed in Iraq Tuesday in addition to the discovery of a corpse in a US uniform.
In a dispatch posted at 2:21pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that, following the disclosure of the death of two US Marines, the US military had admitted that seven more of its soldiers had been killed in four Resistance attacks in various parts of Iraq on Tuesday. Also announced was the discovery of another dead US soldier in al-Musayyib, 70km south of Baghdad.
The AMSI reported a US communique´ as saying that the most deadly of those attacks took place when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol, killing three US troops and wounding two more. The American statement failed to specify where the bomb attack took place.
Meanwhile the puppet police announced tha tit had discovered the body of one of the three American troops captured by the Iraqi Resistance in the al-Mahmudiyah area on Saturday, 12 May 2007.
Captain Muthanna al-Ma‘muri of the puppet Iraqi police announced that the body had wounds on the upper extremities and head and was wearing a US-issued uniform. The corpse was handed over to US forces.
Earlier, in a dispatch posted at 10:24am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the US military had admitted that two US Marines had been killed in Iraq.
The AMSI reported a US military communique´ as saying that the two Marines were killed in al-Anbar Province in combat operations on Tuesday, 22 May. In keeping with the standard American practice of concealing details regarding the deaths of its personnel in Iraq, no further details were available.
As Shi‘i sectarian murder spree continues, 112 bodies of torture, murder victims recovered in 72 hours.
In a dispatch posted at 10:31am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the puppet police had recovered 33 murdered bodies in various parts of Baghdad on Tuesday. A source in the puppet police said that most of the bodies had been bound and blindfolded and exhibited signs of torture − a trademark of the Shi‘i sectarian militias and the US-backed puppet security services that are largely composed of those militias.
The AMSI reported that another 49 bodies of such murder victims were recovered in Baghdad and Ba‘qubah on Monday.
Thirty more bodies found on Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:12am Baghdad time Thursday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the puppet police had recovered the bodies of 30 victims of murder dumped in various parts of Baghdad on Wednesday. Most of the bodies were bound and blindfolded. The puppet police announced that the victims’ bodies were taken to the Forensic Medicine Department for identification.
Resistance car bomber kills puppet policeman Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:15am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a puppet police patrol in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Tuesday.
The AMSI reported a puppet police source as saying that the attack killed on puppet policeman and wounded three more of them.

Puppet police find bodies believed to belong to three US troops captured by Iraqi Resistance on 12 May.
In a dispatch posted at 9:49pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the puppet police in Babil Province south of Baghdad believed it had found the bodies of three US troops captured by the Iraqi Resistance near al-Mahmudiyah on Saturday, 12 May 2007.
The AMSI reported a source in the Babil Province puppet police as saying that their force had discovered the bodies on the banks of the Euphrates river in the al-Musayyib area, 70km south of Baghdad on Wednesday. The puppet police statement said that the corpses were dressed in the US military uniform.
The puppet police reportedly handed the bodies over to the US occupation forces after making the discovery. US forces and swarms of helicopter gun ships closed off the area where the bodies were found.
Resistance fighters assault puppet police checkpoint at dawn Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:15am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters assaulted a puppet police checkpoint in al-Musayyib, about 70km south of Baghdad, at dawn on Wednesday.
The AMSI reported a source in the puppet “Scorpion Brigade” as saying that the attack took place in the Awlad Muslim area of al-Musayyib, and left one of the puppet policemen wounded.

Shi‘i sectarian militias in al-Basrah begin carrying out assassinations according to death list sent out by Tehran regime.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time midday Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that informed sources in the city of al-Basrah had revealed that Shi ‘ sectarian death squads working for Iran in the city had received from Tehran lists of individuals to be assassinated.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that included on the lists are more than 100 Sunni personalities whom Iran wants eliminated. The sources said that the death squads have already begun carrying out the ordered assassinations.
One source, who asked not to be identified, reported that the most important Shi‘i sectarian militias were taking part in carrying out the assassination orders. The Jaysh al-Mahdi militia under sectarian cleric Muqtada as-Sadr is one of the militias whose death squads are busy carrying out the orders of Tehran. Also involved are the “”15 Sha‘ban Movement,” the “Revenge of God Movement,” the Badr Brigades and secret military wings of various Shi‘i sectarian political parties that operate under the aegis of the Anglo-American occupation.
Death squads from those Shi‘i sectarian militias have undergone training over the past several months in Iran.
The death squads began carrying out the assassinations ordered by Tehran when they killed a former member of the Sunni Board of Pious Endowments (Waqf), whose name was included on the death list. That shaykh was on his way home from the house of a relative to the north of al-Basrah when he was cars driven by the sectarian death squads staged a fake traffic accident with his car and then abducted him. His body was later found tortured and murdered.
