Resistance forces pound puppet “Shock Troop” checkpoint in ad-Durah Friday morning.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:30pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its mortar detachments fired five 60mm mortar rounds into a checkpoint manned by puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the al-Mikanik neighborhood of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah at 10am local time Friday, 11 May 2007. The shells scored direct hits on the checkpoint, the communique´ reported.
Resistance bomb disables US tank in at-Taji.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 4:10pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its engineer units detonated a bomb under a US tank in the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji. The blast disabled the tank and wounded the US troops aboard, the communique´ reported.
Resistance attack targets puppet police, killing 12 in Baghdad’s az-Za‘faraniyah district.
In a dispatch posted at 10:04pm Makkah time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance attacked a puppet police station and checkpoint in the predominantly Shi‘i az-Za‘faraniyah district of eastern Baghdad on Friday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 8:56pm Baghdad time Friday evening, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that two explosions targeted the area just moments apart. First, a truck bomb blasted into a puppet police station and then a car bomb drove into a checkpoint over the Diyala Canal on the Tigris River and blew up.
A puppet police source told Mafkarat al-Islam that 12 people were killed, including puppet policemen and passers by, and 22 more were wounded. The second explosion caused a part of the bridge to collapse. The bridge is a thoroughfare for drivers heading towards southern Iraq from Baghdad.
US admits three more Americans killed in Resistance attacks in Iraq.
In a dispatch posted at 11:43am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US military issued a communique´ on Friday admitting that three more of its troops had been killed in Resistance attacks in various parts of Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the US communique´ as saying that one of the American soldiers died of wounds suffered from a Resistance bomb explosion in Diyala Province northeast of Baghdad on Thursday. A second American died of severe wounds he received in a battle with Resistance fighters equipped with light arms in the ad-Diwaniyah area. The third American died in an attack to the south of Baghdad, the American statement said.

Resistance bomb disables Humvee in Yathrib Friday morning.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:26pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its engineer units set off a bomb under a US Humvee in the Yathrib area, about 80km north of Baghdad at 10am local time Friday morning, 11 May 2007.
The communique´ reported that the blast disabled the Humvee, wounding its crew.
Resistance batters US “Camp Anaconda” with mortars Tuesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:30pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its mortar units fired six 82mm mortar rounds into the US-occupied al-Bakr Air Base, about 70km north of Baghdad in the Yathrib area at 2pm local time Tuesday afternoon, 8 May 2007.
The communique´ reported that the shells scored direct hits on the base, which the Americans call “Camp Anaconda,” sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Resistance bomb destroys US Humvee in al-Mushahadah.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 3:37pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its guerrilla units set off a bomb under a US Humvee, totally destroying it and killing or injuring those aboard. The communique´ reported that the attack took place in the al-Mushahadah area, 25km north of Baghdad.
Tikrit.
Resistance fighters destroy 15 fuel tankers east of Tikrit.
In a dispatch posted at 9:33pm Baghdad time Friday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a convoy of 23 tank trucks loaded with fuel on their way from the Bayji refinery to at-Tuz, 90km east of Tikrit (which is 180km north of Baghdad).
The AMSI reported a puppet police source as saying that the Resistance men completely burned up 15 of the fuel tankers after their drivers had abandoned them.
Ad-Dulu‘iyah.
Resistance bomb reportedly kills US officer in ad-Dulu‘iyah Thursday morning.
In a communique´ posted on its website, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Jihadi Groups of Iraq (‘Asa’ib al-‘Iraq al-Jihadiyah) announced that one of its detachments detonated a bomb by a US vehicle in the ad-Dulu‘iyah area, 97km north of Baghdad, at 9:20am Thursday, 10 May 2007.
The communique´ reported that the explosion destroyed the Humvee, killing a high-ranking officer who was aboard. It added that in response to the Resistance attack, the Americans blew up a house in the area in order to express their hatred of the Iraqi populace.

Resistance bomb blasts US Humvee near ad-Dawr Tuesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:26pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its engineer detachments detonated a bomb by a US Humvee on the road that goes around the town of ad-Dawr, 150km north of Baghdad, at 3pm local time Tuesday, 8 May 2007.
The communique´ reported that the blast disabled the vehicle, wounding the members of its crew.

In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:31pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its marksmen shot and killed a puppet “Iraqi National Guardsman” as he stood in a checkpoint in the area of al-Latifiyah, about 40km south of Baghdad at 3pm local time Thursday afternoon, 10 May 2007.
Al-Mahmudiyah.
Resistance group reports mortar assault on US headquarters in al-Mahmudiyah.
In a communique´ posted on its website on Wednesday, 9 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Army of the Rashideen announced that its fighters had fired several rockets into the US headquarters in the al-Mahmudiyah area, 25km south of Baghdad.

Puppet police intelligence officer gunned down in ad-Diwaniyah.
In a dispatch posted at 3:08pm Baghdad time Friday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that armed men shot and killed an officer in the puppet police intelligence service in the city of ad-Diwaniyah, 120km south of Baghdad on Friday.
The AMSI reported that a bomb also went off by a puppet army patrol in ad-Diwaniyah, killing one puppet soldier.
A puppet security source announced that unknown armed men sprayed Lieutenant Walid al-Khuza‘i, an officer in the ad-Diwaniyah intelligence service, in an attack that took place in the Ladushmah car market in the city. After killing the puppet army officer, the attackers left the area. In addition to his current role in the puppet forces intelligence service, Lieutenant al-Khuza‘i formerly served as a body guard for the puppet “Defense Minister” Hazim ash-Sha‘lan, who occupied the post at the time of US Proconsul L. Paul Bremer.
In a second attack a bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in the as-Sadr neighborhood of ad-Diwaniyah at 1am local time Friday. The blast disabled a patrol vehicle, killing one puppet soldier and severely wounding a second. The wounded man was taken to a hospital in the US “Camp Echo” for treatment.

Resistance pounds puppet “National Guard” base with mortars Wednesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:30pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its mortar units fired six 82mm mortar rounds into the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” headquarters in the ‘Adan neighborhood on the left-bank (northeast) side of the northern Iraqi city of al-Mawsil at 3pm local time Wednesday afternoon, 9 May 2007.
The shells scored direct hits on the facility, the communique´ reported.
Resistance fighters batter puppet forces with mortars midday Monday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:29pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its mortar units fired thirteen 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters jointly occupied by the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” and the pro-American Kurdish separatist Peshmergah on the left-bank (northeast) side of the northern Iraqi city of al-Mawsil at 1pm local time, midday Monday, 7 May 2007.
The shells scored direct hits on the headquarters, sending plumes of smoke rising over the facility.
Resistance bomb destroys US Humvee, killing crew in al-Mawsil on Sunday, 6 May.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:27pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its engineer units detonated a bomb by a US Humvee on ash-Shallalat Road in the city of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq at 9pm Sunday evening, 6 May 2007.
The communique´ reported that the explosion completely destroyed the vehicle, killing all of its crew.
Resistance sharpshooter brings down puppet “National Guardsman” Saturday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:27pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its marksmen shot and killed a member of the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” as he stood inside a checkpoint on the left-bank (northeast) side of al-Mawsil at 4pm Saturday afternoon, 5 May 2007. The puppet “Guard” took a direct hit, killing him instantly.
Resistance blasts US headquarters in al-Mawsil Saturday morning.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:28pm Friday afternoon, 11 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its mortar units fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of US troops on the left-bank (northeast) side of the northern Iraqi city of al-Mawsil at 9am local time Saturday, 5 May 2007. The shells scored direct hits on the American headquarters, the communique´ reported.
