US admits five of its soldiers killed in attacks in Iraq.
In a dispatch posted at 10:26pm Makkah time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US military admitted on Friday that five of its soldiers had been killed and 11 more wounded in various Resistance attacks in Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the American CNN as reporting an American announcement as saying that an Iraqi Resistance bomb went off, killing one US soldier and wounding six more of them in eastern Baghdad.
Another American soldier was killed and three more wounded when a Resistance bomb planted by the side of a road in western Baghdad went off by a passing US vehicle. An Iraqi working for the Americans as a translator was also killed in that attack.
Two US troops were killed in Resistance attacks in al-Anbar Province, the Americans acknowledged − without providing any more details.
The American forces admitted that another US soldier was killed and two more wounded when a Resistance bomb went off by their bus in southern Baghdad Friday.
Resistance bomb kills five puppet policemen in Baghdad’s al-‘Amil Friday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:01pm Makkah time midday Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the Baghdad neighborhood of al-‘Amil on Friday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the blast killed five puppet policemen and wounded two more. The source noted that the attack took place before the routine mid-Friday curfew, intended to prevent large groups of Sunni Muslims from attending Friday prayers, went into effect..
Resistance bomb explodes in ad-Durah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:01pm Makkah time midday Friday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb went off in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah but no casualties were reported in that attack.
Resistance blasts US troops at Saddam International Airport Wednesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:22pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that a group of its rocket fighters fired two Tariq missiles into US-occupied Saddam International Airport scoring direct hits on the facility at 6pm local time, Wednesday, 2 May 2007.
Resistance blasts puppet base in ad-Durah Wednesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:05pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its unist fired an S5K rocket into a command post of the puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in the al-Mikanik area of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah at 4pm local time Wednesday, 2 May 2007. One puppet “Guard” was killed and two more of them wounded in the attack.
Resistance blasts Shi‘i sectarian gunmen Tuesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:06pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its units fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into a concentration of Shi‘i sectarian gunmen in the al-Jihad neighborhood of Baghdad at 11 am Tuesday, 1 May 2007, scoring direct and powerful hits and killing and wounding a large number of the gunmen and destroying several of their hideouts, the communique´ reported.

Resistance announces sharpshooter killed US soldier in ad-Dawr Wednesday afternoon.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:18pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its sharpshooters shot and killed a US soldier in the ad-Dawr area, 150km north of Baghdad at 3pm local time, Wednesday, 2 May 2007.

Resistance bomb reportedly kills US soldier in ad-Dujayl Wednesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:18pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its engineer units detonated a bomb by a US military vehicle in the ad0-Dujayl area, 55km north of Baghdad, at 9am local time Wednesday, 2 May 2007. The blast disabled the vehicle and killed one US soldier the communique´ reported.
At-Tarimiyah.
Resistance strikes US base with rockets Wednesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:05pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that a detachment of its fighters blasted the US base in at-Tarimiyah, about 30km north of Baghdad, with a Katyusha and an S-8 rocket at 6pm local time Wednesday afternoon, 2 May 2007. The rockets scored direct hits and set off explosions inside the base.
Ad-Dulu ‘iyah.
Resistance blasts US camp in ad-Dulu‘iyah with Grad rockets Wednesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:06pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that a group of its fighters fired two Grad rockets into a US camp in ad-Dulu‘iyah, 97km north of Baghdad, at 11am local time Wednesday, 2 May 2007.
Resistance fighters assault puppet troops at checkpoint Tuesday, killing three.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:04pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its guerrilla units assaulted a checkpoint manned by US and puppet “National Guard” forces in ad-Dulu‘iyah, 97km north of Baghdad at 3pm local time Tuesday, 1 May 2007.
The Resistance men, armed with light and medium weapons engaged the US and puppet forces in a violent clash for about five minutes, killing three of the puppet “Guards” and wounding two more of them. The bodies were seen being evacuated from the area after the battle.

In a communique´ posted on its website at 5:03pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its units fired two 82mm mortar rounds into the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” base in Balad, about 80km north of Baghdad, at 2pm local time Wednesday, 2 May 2007. The communique´ reported that the shells scored direct hits on the base.

In a communique´ posted on its website at 4:50pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its marksmen shot and killed a US soldier in the al-Mushahadah area, 25km north of Baghdad at 5pm, Wednesday, 2 May 2007.

In a communique´ posted on its website at 4:49pm Thursday, 3 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its units blasted the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” base in Region 37 in al-Yusufiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad with five 60mm mortar rounds at 1pm midday Tuesday, 1 May 2007. The shells sent plumes of smoke rising from inside the camp, the communique´ reported.

Resistance mortars blast Peshmergah separatists Tuesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 8:36am Friday, 4 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its detachments fired seven 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of the pro-American Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militia in the city of al-Mawsil at 8pm local time Tuesday, 1 May 2007. The communique´ reported that the shells scored direct hits on their targets sending plumes of smoke rising from the headquarters.

In a communique´ posted on its website at 8:42am Friday, 4 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its units fired four 60mm mortar rounds into a US military headquarters in the al-Bakr neighborhood of al-Mawsil at 7:30pm local time Tuesday, 1 May 2007, scoring direct hits.

In a communique´ posted on its website at 8:37am Friday, 4 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that a group of its fighters fired four 82mm mortar shells and a Katyusha rocket into US-occupied al-Mawsil airport at 7:30pm Tuesday, 1 May 2007. The communique´ reported that the target took direct hits in the attack.
Resistance assaults pro-American Peshmergah gunmen Tuesday.
In a communique´ posted on its website at 8:45am Friday, 4 May 2007, the Iraqi Resistance organization the Islamic Army announced that one of its guerrilla units assaulted a checkpoint manned by the pro-American Kurdish separatist Peshmergah in al-Mawsil at 8:30am Tuesday, 1 May 2007.
The communique´ reported that the Resistance men, equipped with light and medium arms, set fire to one of the Peshmergah troop transport vehicles and disabled a second, killing four of the separatists.
