The Taliban movement is making efforts to portray a good image of itself
in the areas where it has control.
Members of the Taliban try not to intervene in the daily lives of
citizens', with the hope to gain their support
in the war against the Foreign and Afghan forces.
The Taliban has also established a Shura Council to represent the tribes
in addition to another appointed council, which acts as a judicial and
prison system to facilitate daily life in the areas under its control.
タリバン運動は支配下の地域でイメージ改善に努めています。
タリバンのメンバーは、外国軍とアフガニスタン軍に対する戦争で
支持を得るようと、市民の日常生活に介入しないようにしようとします。
タリバンが任命した評議会の他に、部族代表のシューラ評議会を設立しました。
それは、支配地域での日常生活を円滑に運営する為、
司法制度や刑務所の整備を行っています。

The residents of the Taliban-controlled Afghan areas do not hide their
surprise over the Taliban's drastic change in how it deals with
the people-a change from the days when it had complete power.
The Taliban is trying to present a good image of the movement,
especially in the markets.
タリバン支配地域の住民達は、かつての政権にあった時代タリバンとは
根本的に異なるタリバンの変化に驚きを隠しません。
タリバンは、良いイメージを作り出そうとしています。
市場においては特にそうです。

The members of the Taliban treat us well.
They do not interfere with our business.
They returned security and have good feelings toward us in this region.
There are no road blocks, thieves or any bad people, thank God.
All this is because of the presence of the Taliban.
タリバンのメンバーの対応はとても良いです。
私達の商売に介入したりしません。
この地域に治安を取り戻してくれました。
道路封鎖ブロックもなく、泥棒や性質の悪い連中もいなくなりました。

The only medical clinic in the area of Hazarajift continues to function
the same way, both before and after the movement took control.
A male doctor and female doctor work in two separate rooms.
ハザラジット地区の唯一の診療所は、タリバンの支配下でも、
以前と同じように運営されています。
男性の医者と女性の医者が別室で診察を行っています。
Guest, FEMALE #1:
The members of the Taliban respect us a lot.
They protect and look after us.
Sometimes I do not return to my home for an entire month.
However, nobody dares to raid my house in my absence.
I don't have any problems with them.
タリバンのメンバーは私達に大いに敬意を払います。
私達を保護し、世話をしてくれます。
時々私は丸一か月留守にします。
しかし誰も私の家に入り込んだりしません。
タリバンとは何の問題もありません。

Satisfaction with the Taliban movement's power stems from
it establishing two Shura Council's.
The first council is appointed by the Taliban to administrate
in the region.
The second council is chosen by tribes that represent all the segments
of society, including Shiite Muslims and ethnic Uzbecks.
タリバン支配に対する満足は、二つのシューラ評議会の確立から生じます。
一つ目の評議会は、タリバンが任命した地域行政評議会。
もう一つの評議会は、シーア派やウズベク民族を含めて、
地域社会の全ての構成を代弁する、部族が選んだ代表による評議会です。

As long as they request us, we try to resolve all of their problems,
even if they occur late at night.
The people can contact us without any obstacles.

To strengthen the power and respect of the Taliban administration,
the movement's local regime has refused to hand down prison sentences
with regards to disputed cases.
Meanwhile, others, whose criminal charges have been proven,
are awaiting prison sentences.
(on screen) As long as life is simple, it continues to go
on here whether or not a government is present.
It has remained as such for many centuries.

タリバン政権の力と敬意を強化する為に、
タリバンの地元政権は、疑わしいケースに関しては、
判決を伝えることを拒否しました。
一方、刑事訴訟が証明された人達は、判決を待ち受けています。
生活がシンプルである限り、政府が存在しているか否かにかかわらず、
ここでは進行していきます。
何世紀もの間、こうだったのです。
