Al-Anbar Province.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance attacks continue in ar-Ramadi, despite regime claims to have “purged” 90 percent of city.
In a dispatch posted at 2:42pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces accompanied by their puppet army and puppet “al-Anbar Salvation Council” police allies are continuing their operations in the city of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Colonel Tariq ad-Dulaymi as telling the press that the American-led forces had “purged” 90 percent of the neighborhoods of ar-Ramadi of fighters for al-Qa‘idah, specifically the neighborhoods of: at-Ta’mim, al-Mal‘ab, al-Iskan, as-Sikak, ad-Dubbat, al-Mukhabarat, al-Hawz, ath-Thilah, 20 Street, 17 Street, al-Bu ‘Ulwan, as-Sufiyah, al-Jazirah, al-Bu Sudah, and parts of the al-Bu Mar‘i area.
The puppet officer told the press that his forced had found 31 bodies in the Recreation City area and seven more corpses in the Celebration Square area and had restricted the curfew in areas under control. The puppet colonel said that tribal forces working for the puppet regime control the city at the present time while US aircraft control the sky overhead.
Despite claims that the puppet regime has secured control of most of the city, local residents of the districts supposedly “purged” of fighters told Mafkarat al-Islam that during the night there are clashes as al-Qa‘idah Resistance fighters come out to battle with the puppet regime forces and to attack checkpoints and centers run by the puppet forces and their American patrons.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance land mine kills three US troops in al-Fallujah before dawn Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:12pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance land mine exploded by a US vehicle in al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad at about 2am local time Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Captain Yasir al-‘Isawi of the puppet police command in al-Fallujah as saying that the land mine went off opposite the Industrial Zone of the city, setting the US vehicle ablaze and burning three American troops to death. A fourth US soldier was badly injured, Captain al-‘Isawi said. The puppet captain said that this was the first attack in that area in nearly a month, which was when US troops commandeered a local house and turned it into an observation and sniping post.
Baghdad.
US drive to wall off al-A‘zamiyah district 80 percent finished as Americans work 12 hour days to completely close off Sunni dictrict.
In a dispatch posted at 2:35pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Americans had walled off 80 percent of the predominantly Sunni district of al-A‘zamiyah from the rest of the country as the US effort to partition Iraq along sectarian lines continues.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-A‘zamiyah as saying that the isolation wall whose construction was under US supervision was about 80 percent complete. The residents said that the Americans are at work 12 hours every day in order to finish walling off al-A‘zamiyah on all sides, leaving only one gate through which people will be able to pass. The Americans plan to keep that gate closed from 9pm until 6:30am every night, in addition to being able to observe and control all who enter and leave the imprisoned district.
It is expected that the one passage to be left open − which locals have taken to calling “Rafah Crossing,” after similar walled controls imposed by the Zionists on Palestinians − is to be the gate opposite the Ibn Rushd College of Education.
A municipal official told Mafkarat al-Islam that the wall had cut off the as-Salikh district, which is administratively under al-A‘zamiyah’s jurisdiction, from the district. This in effect, ties the as-Salikh district to the neighboring slum area known as “Madinat as-Sadr” − a stronghold of the Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia − known for its kidnapping, torture, and murder of Sunnis.
On Friday, US troops will begin to take eye prints and thumb prints of al-A‘zamiyah residents in order to issue them special IDs that will allow them to enter and leave their home district. Anyone lacking such an ID will not be allowed into al-A‘zamiyah.
Thousands of residents of al-A‘zamiyah recently took to the streets to protest being walled into their area under constant US surveillance and control. Western media reported that the wall-building project had been halted due to objections by the puppet regime in Baghdad, but in fact the effort to isolate the largely Sunni area has been moving rapidly forward.
Shi‘i sectarian torture murder spree continues: 18 victims’ bodies found on Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 10:11am Baghdad time Thursday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” had announced that puppet police patrols had recovered 18 bodies of people who were murdered in various parts of Baghdad during the previous 24-hour period.
The AMSI reported the source as saying that the bodies bore signs of torture and had been shot to death and that some were bound and blindfolded. They were recovered in various parts of the US-controlled Iraqi capital. Torture is a trademark of the Shi‘i sectarian militias and the US-backed puppet security and military services of the puppet regime.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the lockdown followd the killing for four US Marines in the as-Saddah area to the west of the city.
Sources in the city told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Americans had shut off all electric power, running water, and communications in the city and deployed snipers on tall buildings in the city to shoot anyone who ventures out of his house. The Shaykh of the al-Jabbur tribe in the city said that US snipers had killed six civilians, one of them a child and another a woman.
The shaykh added that the Americans had arrested a number of worshippers at the main mosque in the city and also arrested postal employees, claiming that they had been helping the Iraqi Resistance. In a dispatch posted at 3:19pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a religious leader of the Yazidi sect in Iraq, Asil Malkani, had requested protection from the US occupation forces on Thursday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Malkani, a cleric in the religion of the Yazidis, as saying that more than 30 Yazidi youths had been killed by armed men following the Yazidi stoning to death of a local girl who had embraced Islam.
Malkani said that 40 Yazidi families had left their homes in northern Iraq and fled to Syria following the stoning and retaliatory acts by armed Muslims. Malkani expressed his thanks to the US-installed puppet “Presdident” of Iraq, the Kurdish separatist Jalal Talibani for what he described as his pledge of protection to the Yazidis. Malkani also called on the Americans to settle in their village in order to provide protection to the members of the sect.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that in 1993 Iraqi’s martyred President Saddam Husayn visited the Yazidi village, after which more than 430 local people embraced Islam. Following the American invasion, however, US proconsul L. Paul Bremer extended numerous special benefits to the Yazidis and build temples for them, in an effort to encourage pro-American and anti-Islamic sentiment among them. The estimated 70,000 Iraqi Yazidis reside largely in Ninwa Province in northern Iraq.

Armed attack on puppet facility in al-Basrah Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 10:59am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that armed men mounted a violent attack on the headquarters of the puppet deputy “Interior Minister” in al-Basrah on Wednesday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that armed men assaulted the building that formerly housed the headquarters of the police but now has been occupied by the deputy puppet “Interior Minister” and the puppet “Emergency Security Forces” in the city.
The sound of light and heavy gunfire resounded throughout the center of the city as the attack was underway. On Thursday, a day after the incident, no information had been released concerning the nature or extent of casualties suffered by the puppet forces. On Thursday the city of al-Basrah was tense following a further deterioration in relations between the Shi‘i sectarian Fadilah Party − which runs the British monitored puppet administration in the city − and the Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia, which is trying to replace the Fadilah party as puppet chief in the city.
On 7 March this year the Fadilah (“Virtue”) Party pulled out of the Shi‘i sectarian United Iraqi Alliance coalition that is dominated by the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) and Muqtada as-Sadr’s movement. At a press conference, a Fadilah Party spokesman denounced its former coalition colleagues for having formed a “hatemongering sectarian bloc” and since that day, the larger Shi‘i sectarian SCIRI and Sadr Movements have been struggling to topple Fadilah from its role running the local puppet regime in al-Basrah.
