US claims arrest of Resistance fighters in al-Karmah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Baghdad time Tuesday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that US forces had arrested six people whom its suspects of being involved with the al-Qa‘idah organization in Iraq.
The AMSI reported the Americans as announcing that the arrest occurred in al-Karmah village, 7km east of al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 12:04pm Baghdad time midday Tuesday, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the Amir of the “Islamic State of Iraq,” the al-Qa‘idah-led Iraqi Resistance organization, had issued a statement in which he called on his followers not to fight those who have “differences of opinion” with al-Qa‘idah, in particular Resistance fighters in other organizations.
The AMSI reported Abu ‘Umar al-Baghdadi as issuing an audio recording on the Internet in which he said that Iraq’s Mujahideen must not be drawn into plans aimed at dividing their ranks. Al-Baghdadi noted the differences that had surfaced between his organization and the Brigades of the 1920 Revolution over their stances on a party taking part in the US-run political process (a veiled reference to the “Islamic Party of Iraq”). He said that Satan had been inciting trouble between the two organizations.
Al-Baghdadi called on the other armed Resistance groups to preserve unity, saying that the affection between the Islamic State of Iraq and the Islamic Army and Army of the Mujahideen groups was deep and that what united them was stronger than what some of them may think. He also said that he did not absolve his own fighters of deeds of which he was unaware.
In the message, which was issued on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the US invasion, al-Baghdadi said that he agreed with those who said that Iraq had become a “university of terror,” saying: “from the military point of view one of their devils spoke the truth when he said that if Afghanistan were a school for terror, Iraq is a university of terror.”
Al-Baghdadi announced the graduation of what he called Iraqi history’s greatest batch of “officers of the jihad for the sake of God with the highest international qualifications,” adding that “the studies are continuing without interruption, in summer and winter, night and day.”
Al-Baghdadi said that fear of the US Marines in the hearts of the Mujahideen had now disappeared, and their numbers have grown to thousands after being only a few following the fall of Baghdad.
Al-Baghdadi’s message calling for unity comes following clashes between the “Islamic State of Iraq” and other Resistance organizations in recent weeks and the killed by al-Qa‘idah of a local leader of one of the other Resistance groups.
Later on Tuesday the United Arab Emirates-based news agency Moheet reported that the Islamic Army Resistance group had welcomed the call by the “Islamic State of Iraq for the unity of the Iraqi Resistance and a ban on clashes between those with different opinions, particularly Mujahideen.
Moheet reported Ibrahim ash-Shamari, a spokesman for the Islamic Army in Iraq, as telling al-Jazeera satellite TV that his organization welcomes the Islamic State’s call.
Armed Resistance fighters blow up two headquarters of the collaborationist “Islamic Party of Iraq” in Baghdad on Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at GMT on Tuesday, Quds Press reported a source in the collaborationist “Islamic Party of Iraq” as saying that a group of armed men attacked two headquarters of the party in Baghdad on Tuesday afternoon and blew them up.
In an exclusive interview for Quds Press, the source said that groups of armed men attacked the Islamic Party headquarters in the Baghdad districts of al-Ghazaliyah and al-‘Amiriyah. They drove the guards out of the buildings and detained them outside and then planted explosives in the buildings and detonated them.
The source said that the explosions also damaged houses adjacent to the headquarters buildings, wounding a number of residents.
Quds Press noted that the Amir of the Resistance group the “Islamic State of Iraq,” Abu ‘Umar al-Baghdadi, in his recorded message on the fourth anniversary of the US occupation of Baghdad, had accused the “Islamic Party” of being behind the differences that recently surfaced between the “Islamic State” and the Brigades of the 1920 Revolution − another Resistance group.
The “Islamic Party of Iraq” was founded by members of the former Muslim Brotherhood organization after the US occupation of the country. Members of the “Islamic Party” took seats on the puppet “Iraqi Governing Council” set up by US proconsul L. Paul Bremer in 2003 and have been working within the US-run political system since then. Most Iraqi Resistance organizations oppose any participation in the political system installed and maintained by the US occupation.
Resistance group announces execution of 20 captured puppet “Interior Ministry” forces following expiration of deadline.
In a dispatch posted at GMT on Tuesday, Quds Press reported that the Islamic State in Iraq” had announced that it had executed 20 members of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” after a deadline the organization had issued for the regime to release women prisoners in the country passed.
Quds Press reported that two days ago the Resistance group had announced its capture of 20 members of the puppet “Interior and Defense Ministry” forces northeast of Baghdad. The organization, dominated by al-Qa‘idah, demanded that the puppet regime release women prisoners held in puppet “Interior Ministry” prisons and also hand over the soldiers who had raped Sabirin al-Jannabi to the Resistance. The regime was given 48 hours to respond to the demands, a period that has now expired.
US reports American soldier killed in mortar barrage in Baghdad Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:21am Baghdad time Tuesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the a mortar barrage had targeted US forces in Baghdad on Monday, killing one US soldier and wounding two more of them. Also wounded in the attack was a translator, according to an American announcement.
The AMSI reported that this was the third American whose death in Baghdad the US forces admitted on Monday.
US claims to arrest car bombers.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Baghdad time Tuesday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the Americans had arrested two people in Baghdad whom they suspected of being involved with a car bombing network in the area. It was suspected that they had been transporting explosive materials and booby-trapping cars.

US detains Iranian Ambassador to Iraq for two hours in American consulate in al-Hillah.
In a dispatch posted at GMT on Tuesday, Quds Press reported that puppet Iraqi security sources said on Tuesday that US troops detained the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad, Hasan Qummi, for two hours before releasing him.
Quds Press reported the sources as saying that the Iranian ambassador was on his way to the Shi‘i holy city of an-Najaf when a US checkpoint in al-Hillah, 100km south of Baghdad, stopped his car and took him to the US consulate in that city. The Americans kept Qummi at the consulate for two hours before letting him go on his way.
At the time of reporting, neither the US forces nor the Iranian embassy had commented on the incident.
Resistance bomb targets puppet army patrol near al-Hillah Monday night.
In a dispatch posted at 11:12am Baghdad time Tuesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet army patrol on the highway from Baghdad to al-Hillah, about 100km to the south on Monday night.
The AMSI reported a puppet army source as saying that the bomb went off by the 2nd Brigade of the 4th Division of the puppet army, wounding one puppet soldier and damaging a patrol vehicle.

As-Suwayrah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Baghdad time Tuesday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that US forces together with their puppet army allies had killed 25 people it said were armed fighters in areas north of as-Suwayrah, 50km southeast of Baghdad.
Puppet security forces announced that US and puppet forces carried out raids in the as-Samrah area of as-Suwayrah.
The AMSI reported a puppet security officer as saying that clashes occurred between the troops and Resistance fighters there.
