US carries out raids, arrests in al-Qa’im.
In a dispatch posted at 11:40pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops, together with their puppet Iraqi army allies, surrounded the city of al-Qa’im near the Syrian border and proceeded to carry out a campaign of raids, searches, and arrests, on the pretext of looking for “Arab fighters” and arms caches.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet army source as saying that the US and puppet Iraqi forces closed off all exits from the city at dawn Saturday and then started searching houses, shops, markets, government offices, and hospitals over a wide area. The source said that the troops used police dogs and modern devices to detect arms caches in their operations.
A puppet security source said that the Americans checked the IDs of local residents to determine if they were from al-Qa’im or “Arab fighters.” A number of people were arrested on suspicion of not being locals.
Al-Fallujah.
US sniper kills two civilians, including mentally ill man, in al-Fallujah Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 6:50pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US sniper shot and killed two Iraqi civilians in al-Fallujah on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Dr. ‘Ali al-Jumayli of al-Fallujah General Hospital as saying that his institution received the bodies of ‘Umar Ahmad Rashid and a mentally ill man named Iyyad who lived in the ash-Shurtah neighborhood in the north of the city.
Dr. al-Jumayli and eyewitnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that an American sniper deliberately targted the two men near the al-Hadrah al-Muhammadiyah Mosque in the ash-Shurtah neighborhood, shooting and killing both of them.
Mourners buried the two latest victims of the American occupation in the city’s Martyrs Cemetery.
On Saturday, US forces raised the curfew that they had imposed on the city more than three days before.
US warplane destroys home in al-Hasy, near al-Fallujah before dawn Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:07pm Baghdad time Saturday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that a US warplane struck a house in eastern al-Hasy early Saturday morning, killing all the people inside.
In another incident, AMSI reported that the puppet police found bodies of three torture and murder victims dumped in the ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah area.

Resistance blasts US facility in as-Saqlawiyah with mortars Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:57pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three mortar rounds into a US headquarters in an area to the north of al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad, on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that explosions rocked the US headquarters in as-Saqlawiyah, 17km north of al-Fallujah, after the shells landed inside the American facility, and smoke billowed into the sky.

In a dispatch posted at 11:30pm Baghdad time Saturday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that the puppet police found the bodies of 10 murdered individuals in various parts of Baghdad on Saturday. Most were bound and blindfolded.
AMSI reported that the bodies bore signs of torture including burns to the head and chest. Torture is a trademark of the activity of the Shi‘i sectarian militias and the US-backed puppet security forces.
AMSI reported that the bodies were taken to the Forensic Medical Morgue.
Shooting in az-Za‘faraniyah Saturday evening wounds two.
In a dispatch posted at 11:30pm Baghdad time Saturday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that unknown armed men opened fire on civilians in the az-Za‘faraniyah district of eastern Baghdad on Saturday evening, wounding at least two people.

In a dispatch posted at 11:30pm Baghdad time Saturday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that a bomb exploded in the al-‘Ubaydi district of eastern Baghdad on Saturday evening, wounding two local people.
US troops gun down woman, child in Baghdad’s ad-Durah suburb.
In a dispatch posted at 11:30pm Baghdad time Saturday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that US troops opened fire on a woman and her child near the ‘Ulwat ar-Rashid area in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah, killing both of them on the spot.
US soldier reported shot and killed in Baghdad’s al-A ‘zamiyah Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 7:20pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the al-A‘zamiyah district of Baghdad on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local sources as saying that a US soldier was in the area of the al-Bahjah Elementary School in the al-Yarmuk area of Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah when he was suddenly struck directly in the head and killed by a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet.
The sources said that American forces immediately closed off the entire area and launched a campaign of raids and searches of the al-Bahjah School and a number of nearby houses.
Resistance bomb kills two puppet troops in Baghdad Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 7:10pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet Iraqi army patrol behind the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah Mosque in the Baghdad district of al-Yarmuk at 4pm local time Saturday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Captain ‘Abd al-Wahhab Naji of the al-Qadisiyah puppet police station in al-Yarmuk as saying that the explosion destroyed a Humvee, killing two puppet soldiers and severely wounding a third.
Resistance bomb rips through US patrol in Baghdad midday Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:25pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the al-Bunuk neighborhood of Baghdad at 12:30pm local time midday Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in the northeastern part of the capital blew by a passing American patrol. No information was available on the nature or extent of casualties or material damage since the Americans quickly surrounded the area.
Bomb rips through “Madinat as-Sadr” area Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:43am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier a car bomb had exploded in the Baghdad district of Madinat ath-Thawrah (nicknamed “Madinat as-Sadr” after the US invasion in 2003).
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet police sources as saying that an explosives-packed car that had been parked by the side of a road near the “as-Sadrayn Hospital” in the middle of the area went off, killing three civilians and wounding seven more, some of them severely.
Iraqi puppet security forces immediately closed the area and transported the dead and wounded to a nearby hospital.
The “Madinat as-Sadr” area is known to be a stronghold of the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘isectarian militia led by the cleric Muqtada as-Sadr.

Resistance fighters kill six puppet police in ambush in Balad Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 11:24pm Baghdad time Saturday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a civilian car in which Iraqi puppet policemen were riding near Balad, about 80km north of Baghdad on Saturday evening.
AMSI reported that the Resistance men killed the six puppet policemen and then left the area.
Ad-Dulu‘iyah.
Resistance bomb kills puppet policeman in ad-Dulu‘iyah Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 11:24pm Baghdad time Saturday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in ad-Dulu ‘iyah, 90km north of Baghdad on Saturday evening
AMSI reported that the attack killed one patrolman and wounded two more of them, one of those severely.
Meanwhile, US troops surrounded the area of the fuel station in ad-Dulu‘iyah and arrested four people whom they took away to one of their nearby bases.
Tuz Khurmatu.
Car bomb explodes amidst civilians in Tuz Khurmatu early Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:26am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded in the midst of a group of civilians in Tuz Khurmatu, about 180km north of Baghdad early Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet police sources as saying that an explosives-laden car that was parked by the side of the road near the square where day laborers gather in the center of town blew up early Saturday amidst a throng of civilians.
The sources said that the blast killed two and wounded 12 others in addition to inflicting material damage o a number of commercial shops near the scene. The sources added that puppet security forces surrounded the area and evacuated the injured to hospital.

Shahraban.
US forces find cache of Iranian made weapons in Shahraban.
In a dispatch posted at 8:30pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that several hours earlier, US forces found a cache of Iranian arms and ammunition in the Shahraban area, about 85km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Major ‘Ali ‘Awwad ad-Dayini of the puppet police as saying that American troops raided a school near the southern outskirts of the town and discovered the cache of Iranian-made weapons.
Major ad-Dayini said that the cache contained forty-four 81mm mortar rounds, 13 guns, and 22 bombs ready for detonation by remote control. There were also a large number of medium ammunition and lithe weapons as well as silencers.
Major ad-Dayini said that the Americans transported the weapons and ammunition to their base in al-Khalis.
Ba‘qubah.
Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in Ba‘qubah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:55pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the city of Ba ‘qubah, 65km northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet police sources as saying that a US patrol was driving through the as-Sadah area northeast of Ba‘qubah when a Resistance bomb exploded, destroying a Humvee and killing three US troops.
The puppet security sources said that US troops closed off the area immediately after the attack and hauled away the dead soldiers’ corpses and the wreckage of the vehicle to one of their bases.

Bomb explodes in al-Hillah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:04am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an explosives-laden car had blown up in the city of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the puppet police as announceing that a car bomb exploded near the Bab al-Mashhad fuel station in al-Hillah, killing and injuring 22 people. The blast also destroyed three civilian cars that were near the scene at the time and inflicted heavy material damage on the fuel station.
No organization had claimed responsibility for the attack, the latest in a series of unclaimed bombings that have taken place under the umbrella of the American “New Security Plan” for the country.

Puppet policeman killed in Resistance bomb attack Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 6:10pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of local puppet police in the city of Kirkuk, about 250km north of Baghdad on Saturday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet police sources in the city as saying that a bomb went off by a puppet police patrol in the al-‘Askari neighborhood in southern Kirkuk, killing one puppet policeman. Two more patrolmen were wounded in varying degrees. They were later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. One civilian car was also damaged in the attack.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the northern city of Kirkuk on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb that had been planted under the Third Bridge in the city went off as a puppet police “Kirkuk Rescue Directorate” patrol drove over it. The blast damaged a patrol vehicle but inflicted no casualties according to the puppet police source.

Resistance bomb targets puppet police patrol Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:15pkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the southwestern part of al-Mawsil Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet police sources as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of a road in the al-Mahattah area of southwestern al-Mawsil blew up when a puppet police patrol was driving by. The explosion injured six people, one of them a woman. The sources said that Iraqi puppet security forces sealed off the area immediately after the attack and transported the wounded to hospital.
