Resistance bomb kills two puppet “National Guards” near al-Hadithah Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:38pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol in the middle of al-Haqlaniyah, a town near al-Hadithah, about 270km northwest of Baghdad, at 8am local time Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road in the town went off by a puppet “National Guard” patrol, destroying a patrol vehicle and killing two puppet “National Guards” and wounding three more of them.
Eyewitnesses said that the Iraqi puppet forces then closed off the area where the attack occurred and opened fire indiscriminately, wounding two civilians in the area. They were later taken to hospital for treatment.
Ar-Ramadi.
Puppet “Iraqi Prime Minister” Nuri al-Maliki pays brief visit to ar-Ramadi amidst tight security.
In a dispatch posted at 2:59pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US-installed Iraqi puppet “Prime Minister” Nuri al-Maliki paid an unannounced visit to the city of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad on Tuesday morning. He was accompanied by a number of his security advisers, and entered the city after a curfew had been declared, locking down the entire area.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Ma’mun Sami Rashid, the puppet “Governor” of al-Anbar Province; the Deputy Governor ‘Ali ‘Abbud ad-Dulaym; the Chairman of the pro-American organization calling itself the “al-Anbar Awakening”
‘Abd as-Sattar ar-Rishawi; and the “security consultant of for the province, Colonel Tariq al-‘Alwani, were on hand to greet the puppet “Prime Minister” in the provincial capital ar-Ramadi.
The correspondent reported that during the puppet “Prime Minister’s” visit, US and puppet Iraqi forces kept the city sealed off with all entrances and exits closed. They also declared a curfew in force in all the neighborhoods of the city, as swarms of US warplanes and helicopters prowled the skies overhead.
Puppet “Prime Minister” al-Maliki remained in the provincial government building in ar-Ramadi for three hours where he held a closed meeting with the puppet governor and then a second enlarged meeting with provincial puppet officials. During the meeting al-Maliki resolved to pay for things needed by al-Anbar Province out of the state budget in the hopes of enforcing the regime’s authority in the area.
Al-Maliki also invited a number of tribal Shaykhs to come to meet with him, but a number of them refuse to attend.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bombards US headquarters in as-Saqlawiyah early Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 2:59pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar barrage at a US headquarters in as-Saqlawiyah, about 15km north of al-Fallujah, at 6am local time Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage set off explosions that could be heard from a long distance away and sent plumes of smoke and dust rising into the sky.
Resistance blasts puppet army headquarters in al-Karmah Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar barrage into the headquarters of the puppet Iraqi army in the town of al-Karmah, about 20km north of al-Fallujah, on Monday.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the ash-Shihabi area as saying that the puppet army headquarters took direct hits from the shells that sent plumes of smoke rising from the building inside the compound, located near the local fire department.
Al-Kubaysah.
Americans carry out mass raids on displaced people from al-Fallujah and ar-Ramadi, arresting more than 100 men and youths on Monday − Tuesday night.
In a dispatch posted at 10:25am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies carried out raids and arrests of refugees from al-Fallujah and ar-Ramadi living in the city of al-Kubaysah, about 185km northwest of Baghdad on Monday − Tuesday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the area, which is south of Hit, as saying that this was the largest campaign of raids, searches, and arrests of displaced families they had seen. The refugees are people who fled the fighting in al-Fallujah and ar-Ramadi or were thrown out of their homes when US and puppet forces commandeered them to incorporate them in military installations and security zones. The families had found refuge in al-Kubaysah until last night when the Americans came to raid their makeshift homes and make mass arrests.
The witnesses said that the Americans stormed into the industrial areas and the area known as “Project No. 7” where there are 450 cement houses located east of the city. The US troops rounded up more than 100 refugee men and youths, most of them natives of al-Fallujah and ar-Ramadi.
Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 4:18pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters opened fire on a car carrying a group of off-duty Iraqi puppet policemen in the Zuyunah area of eastern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the attack left five of the puppet policemen dead at the scene and four more of them wounded and transported to hospital.
Afterwards, the puppet police set up a number of road blocks in the area in an attempt to cach the Resistance attackers.
Resistance attack kills three puppet policemen in Baghdad as mysterious bombs continue to explode.
In a dispatch posted at 12:54pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a patrol of the puppet police near Baghdad’s Zuyunah district, Tuesday.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported a puppet police source as saying that Iraqi Resistance men opened fire on a puppet police car on ar-Rabi‘i Street near the Zuyunah area of Baghdad on Tuesday, killing three puppet policemen and wounding two more of them. The correspondent reported that the puppet police completely closed the road after the attack but never found any of the Resistance attackers.
In a separate incident, a bomb exploded by a civilian car as it drove past near the Electrical Industries Company in northern Baghdad’s al-Waziriyah district Tuesday morning.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Waziriyah as saying that the bomb killed one civilian and injured two more.
US troops battle local fighters in predominantly Sunni al-A‘zamiyah district of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 12:18pm Makkah time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at about 10am local time Tuesday morning fighting broke out between US troops accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies on the one hand, and local armed men in the Raghibah Khatun area of Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district, on the other.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that large numbers of American Reinforcements arrived in the area and that the US troops also called in air support after the armed men set an American vehicle − believed to be a Humvee − on fire, killing its crew.

US bomb raids, now in second day, kill eight villagers in al-Khalis.
In a dispatch posted Tuesday, Quds Press reported the office of Shaykh Jawad al-Khalisi in Baghdad as saying that American aircraft for the second straight day were striking villages in the area of the town of al-Khalis, about 60km north of Baghdad.
Quds Press reported the statement by al-Khalisi as saying that US aircraft had struck the villages of al-Bu ‘Aziz, ‘Arab al-Bu Musa al-Bali, and ‘Arab al-Bu Tu‘mah, killing eight people and wounding still more. Quds Press reported that houses in the area were simple mud brick dwellings that offered little protection from sophisticated American ordnance.
The statement issued by al-Khalisi said that the residents of those villages did not bow to the invader during the first occupation of Iraq at the beginning of the 20th Century and have never submitted to oppressors or dictators. Al-Khalisi noted that the villages took part in the resistance to the British invasion during and after World War I, and then played an active role in the 1920 Revolution against the British occupation.
Shaykh al-Khalisi, a Shi‘i religious leader opposed to the US occupation, has worked closely with the Sunni Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq.
Khanaqin.
Resistance fighters ambush puppet police collecting their pay in Khanaqin.
In a dispatch posted at 4:18pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance men ambushed a puppet police patrol in the city of Khaniqin near the Iranian border at noon on Tuesday.
The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that armed men attacked puppet police as they gathered outside a bank to pick up their pay checks and financial allowances. The source said that an armed battle erupted that left one puppet policeman dead and four more of them wounded. The injured men were taken to hospital for treatment.
Ba‘qubah.
Resistance fighters ambush puppet police patrol in Ba‘qubah Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:35pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a puppet police patrol in the middle of Ba‘qubah on Tuesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men fired a rocket at the puppet police patrol, killing three patrolmen and wounding two more of them, one of those severely. The witnesses said that two civilians were also killed when the puppet police responded to the attack by firing randomly at passersby.

Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen kill head of mechanical company in al-Iskandariyah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:59pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen shot and killed the General Director of the Mechanical Industrial Company near his home in al-Iskandariyah, about 40km south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Iskandariyah as saying that the sectarian gunmen shot and killed the engineer Hatim ‘Ali Muhsin in front of his home as he was on his way to work.

Kirkuk.
Resistance bomb kills four puppet policemen in Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 12:35pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road from Kirkuk to al-‘Abbasi blew up by a puppet police patrol, killing four patrolmen and destroying the car in which they were driving. The witnesses added that the puppet police closed off the area immediately after the attack and transported the four bodies to the Forensic Medicine Department.

Al-Mawsil.
Resistance mortars blast Kurdish separatist headquarters in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 2:54pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two 60mm mortar rounds at the headquarters of the pro-American Kurdish separatist “Patriotic Union of Kurdistan” party in the northern city of al-Mawsil at 11am local time Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the Resistance shells scored direct hits on the headquarters of the party, which is headed by the US-installed puppet “President” of Iraq Jalal Talibani. The barrage wounded two guards at the party headquarters, both of whom were taken by ambulance to the local hospital. The attack also moderately damaged the fortifications around the headquarters and the building itself.

Ad-Diwaniyah.
Resistance attacks target area of US “Camp Echo” near ad-Diwaniyah, Monday, Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:41pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a rocket barrage at the US base in ad-Diwaniyah, 120km southeast of Baghdad, on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Diwaniyah as saying that the base, known as “Camp Echo,” took hits from rockets fired by the Iraqi Resistance.
Previously, on Monday, witnesses said that a Resistance bomb exploded on a farm road near the American-occupied base, destroying one American vehicle and killing or wounding the US soldiers aboard it.
