・ Americans take over Education Building in ar-Rutbah, Sunday.

Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance car bomber attacks checkpoint manned by puppet police near ar-Ramadi Monday night.
In a dispatch posted at 9:22pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a checkpoint manned by puppet “al-Anbar Salvation Council” police in the Five Kilo area west of ar-Ramadi, which is located about 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the car bomb inflicted numerous casualties, but no precise body count was as yet available at the time of reporting. The area where the blast occurred was being cordoned off at that time and ambulances were seen parked in the area.

Resistance bombards puppet police station in al-Baghdadi Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:26pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six mortar rounds at the puppet police headquarters in al-Baghdadi, about 200km northwest of Baghdad, on Monday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the residential area of the puppet police station as saying that attack killed two puppet policemen and wounded four more of them. The puppet police station is a facility that the puppet police share with the American military.
Ar-Rutbah.
Americans take over Education Building in ar-Rutbah, Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces took over the Education Building in the town of ar-Rutbah, about 388km west of Baghdad near the Jordanian border on Sunday. The Americans also raided the local hospital, saying that they were looking for “wanted persons.”
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ar-Rutbah as saying that the Americans drove up in various vehicles and stormed the Education Building in the al-Wadi neighborhood, taking over the facility setting up concrete barricades and barbed wire around it.
The witnesses said that the Americans also raided the local hospital looking for “fugitives” but later left.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance blasts US base in as-Saqlawiyah Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:06pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four mortar rounds at the US base in the town of as-Saqlawiyah, 15km north of al-Fallujah, on Sunday.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the base, a facility formerly used by Iraqi Interior forces prior to the American invasion, was hit by the rockets, which sent plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky. Afterwards, the Americans banned all pedestrian and vehicular traffic from the street on which the building is located.
Resistance bombards US position in al-Fallujah Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 10:46am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired mortars at a US base in al-Fallujah on Sunday sparking a gun battle.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the First ad-Dubbat Neighborhood in the city as saying that the post that the Americans built near the Talib al-Jannabi Hospital overlooking the main street was hit with mortars and then the Resistance followed up with an attack with light and medium weapons. The witnesses said that the barrage struck the base and sniper perches on its four sides and plumes of smoke rose over the facility.

Puppet “Shock Troop” and Jaysh al-Mahdi commander abducted, killed in Baghdad Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:27pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that armed men abducted a commander in the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militia in the al-‘Amil district of southwest Baghdad on Sunday and killed him.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Sayyid Ja‘far who was known as “al-Hajjaj” was shot to death. In addition to being a Jaysh al-Mahdi militia commander, Ja‘far was also a member of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir).”
American troops kill man, two children in their car in Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:44am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces opened fire on a family car in the Baghdad district of al-A‘zamiyah, killing a man and his two daughters.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-A‘zamiyah as saying that the Americans opened fire on a car being driven by Rif‘at ‘Abd al-Jabbar accompanied by his children. ‘Abd al-Jabbar and his daughter Fatimah (11 years-old) and Hafsah (12 years old) were killed; his 3-year-old son was wounded and, at the time of reporting, was undergoing treatment at an-Nu‘man Hospital in al-A‘zamiyah, where his mother − who escaped injury − is caring for him.
The Americans justified their killing by claiming that driver − ‘Abd al-Jabbar − failed to stop when they ordered him to do so. ‘Abd al-Jabbar’s widow denied the American claim, however, saying: “the American troops deliberately attacked the car,” adding that the translator who was working with the Americans told her to run quickly away after the American attack, which she did, taking her wounded son, but leaving the blood-soaked bodies of her two daughters and her husband in the car.

Puppet forces arrest 10 residents of al-‘Azim in routine roundup of “suspects.”
In a dispatch posted at 11:28am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet army forces arrested 10 residents of the town of al-‘Azim, 90km north of Baghdad, in the course of one of their routine roundups of local residents.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who live in al-‘Azim as saying that the puppet army troops arrested 10 local people on charges of “acts of violence” against the puppet authorities and the American occupation forces. The witnesses said that the captives were taken away to one of the puppet Iraqi army bases.

British headquarters in al-Basrah bombarded early Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:25pm Makkah time midday Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar barrage at the British bases set up in the Shatt al-‘Arab Hotel and in the former presidential palaces in the southern city of al-Basrah on Monday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet police sources as saying that the British-occupied facilities were hit with mortar barrages, destroying three British military vehiles.
The source, who asked not to be identified, said that the mortar shells blasted into the Shatt al-‘Arab Hotel shortly before the puppet Iraqi army’s 10th Division was to take over there. He added that the Resistance also shelled the British headquarters in the former presidential palaces.
The British have already begun their withdrawal from the Shatt al-‘Arab headquarters, located to the north of al-Basrah − one of the largest British facilities in the area. The Shatt al-‘Arab Hotel was the largest hotel in al-Basrah before the Anglo-American invasion in spring 2003.
British forces confirmed the news of the attacks and also that the puppet forces had taken over command at the Hotel from the departing British. It was a frequent target of attacks.
It was also reported that all British posts in al-Basrah came under bombardment during the night of Sunday-Monday but no information on casualties was available.
