Resistance bomb kills four puppet troops in ‘Amiriyat al-Falluajah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:26pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet army troops in the ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah area near al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a teacher at the Abu Firas al-Hamadani School, who asked not to be identified, as saying that a force of Iraqi puppet troops came into the area but were met with the explosion of a bomb that destroyed one of their Humvees and killed the four puppet soldiers aboard it.
The teacher said that the blast was big and powerful and blew the Humvee apart, scattering the remains of the puppet troops around the area. Afterwards, the puppet soldiers closed off ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah.

Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter kills two puppet troops in ar-Ramadi Sunday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 4pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two Iraqi puppet army soldiers in the city of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported students at the Teachers Training Institute in the city as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter shot and killed two puppet troops in the area of the ar-Ramadi Grand Mosque. One of the puppet troops had just got out of his Humvee to inspect the area where fierce fighting had taken place the night before when the sharpshooter opened fire and struck him in the head, killing him instantly. Then just moments later the sharpshooter fired again, striking another member of the same patrol in the head and killing him too. Afterwards, the students said, the puppet troops opened fire indiscriminately around the area striking a number of private cars for no particular purpose.

Three US troops reported killed in double Resistance bombing near Hit Sunday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 6:15pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by a patrol of American troops accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies in Hit, about 180km northwest of Baghdad, after noon on Sunday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source who asked not to be identified as saying that a double bomb exploded by the joint patrol as it was driving along the highway in the area near al-Hasaniyah, 3km west of Hit.
The correspondent reported that two bombs went off by the patrol, one severely damaging a US vehicle and killing three American troops on the spot. The second bomb heavily damaged a puppet Iraqi vehicle, wounding two puppet soldiers. Immediately after the attack, American troops closed the international highway, which remained shut down at the time of reporting.

In a dispatch posted at 11:05am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of American troops accompanied by their puppet “Iraqi National Guard” allies in the city of Hit, 180km northwest of Baghdad on Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that a joint US-Iraqi puppet patrol was coming out of what used to be a training center 5km west of the city − a facility now used by the Americans as a base. The group was on its ay towards the city when a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road exploded, damaging a Nissan pickup belonging to the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” and disabling an American Humvee. The witnesses said that the blast killed one puppet soldier and wounded three more of them. One American was also injured in the attack.

US seals off “Green Zone” after reports a large bomb had been smuggled inside.
In a dispatch posted at 4:23pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, US occupation troops closed the top security area around the Republican Palace in central Baghdad − the district they have called the “Green Zone” where the headquarters of the occupation are located.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet police sources who asked not to be identified as saying that the Americans sealed off the “Green Zone” for fear that a large bomb had been brought into the zone. The correspondent noted that the Americans prohibited anyone from entering or leaving the “Green Zone” after the alert was announced, as the US forces searched for the reported explosive device.
Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US Marine in western Baghdad Sunday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 4:11pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance marksman had shot and killed a US Marine in the western Baghdad area of al-‘Amiriyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses on al-‘Amal ash-Sha‘bi Street near the al-‘Arusah clothing store for ladies as saying that an American Marine who had been standing in the middle of the street with a group of other Americans and Iraqis was struck by a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him. He was taken away on a stretcher dead. Iraqi puppet troops then carried out searches of the area, all the while hurling obscenities and insults at local residents.
The witnesses said that the troops arrested one local man who responded to their curses by cursing Iranian Shi‘i sectarian cleric Ayatallah ‘Ali as-Sistani, and the US-installed puppet “Prime Minister” Nuri al-Maliki. The troops severely beat the man who insulted their leaders and then took him off to an unknown destination.
Resistance bomb explodes near puppet official in vicinity of German Embassy in Baghdad Sunday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 2:11pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier a large car bomb had exploded in the middle of the Baghdad district of al-Karradah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the car bomb went off near the al-Misbah intersection near the German Embassy. There were reports that the bomb went off near a high-ranking official in the area.
Resistance batters puppet “Shock Troop” base in Baghdad Sunday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 10:55am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three heavy 120mm mortar rounds at a headquarters of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the ar-Risalah neighborhood of southwestern Baghdad Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the headquarters. Plumes of thick, black smoke rose over the facility and fires could be seen burning in one part of the facility.
Resistance blasts US base in at-Taji with mortars Sunday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 10:29am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six 82mm mortar rounds at a US military base in the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji on Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a former Iraqi Army camp now occupied by the Americans took direct hits from the mortar shells, sending plumes of smoke and dust rising into the sky.

Mysterious bomb explodes by vehicle transporting construction workers.
In a dispatch posted at 2pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb exploded by a vehicle carrying civilians to work in Balad Ruz, about 65km northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Balad Ruz as saying that the bomb went off by a Kia vehicle, killing or injuring 15 people, most of them construction workers.

Resistance bomb targets US patrol in Ba‘qubah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:24am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the city of Ba‘qubah, 65km northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that a bomb that had been planted by a side street in the city went off by a US patrol, damaging and disabling a Humvee. The witnesses thought it probable that some of the Americans aboard the vehicle had at least been injured since after the attack, US reinforcements arrived on the scene with a vehicle emblazoned with a red cross.

Resistance bomb reportedly kills two US soldiers near al-Latifiyah early Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 10:27am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the al-Latifiyah area, about 30km south of Baghdad at 6:30am local time Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the road at Kilo 37 totally disabled a US vehicle in the patrol, killing two American soldiers and severely wounding a third. The witnesses said that US reinforcements quickly arrived on the scene and proceeded to surround and seal off the area.

After Shi‘i “Virtue Party” withdraws from pro-American alliance, bomb explodes in party offices in as-Suwayrah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:45pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb exploded by the offices of the Shi‘i Virtue (“al-Fadilah”) Party in as-Suwayrah, 50km southeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the village of as-Suwayrah as saying that a bomb that had been planted near the party headquarters there inflicted material damage on the building. The source said that the bomb caused no casualties among the guards or party members, only breaking window glass in the building.
The Shi‘i Fadilah or “Virtue” Party announced its withdrawal from the Shi‘i sectarian “United Iraqi Alliance” coalition last Wednesday, 7 March. Fadilah spokesman Nadim al-Jabiri denounced the “United Iraqi Alliance,” which is dominated by the pro-American “Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq” (SCIRI) and Muqtada as-Sadr’s movement, calling the UIA a “hatemongering sectarian bloc.”

Resistance bomb wounds two puppet troops in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 2:25pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of the puppet Iraqi Army on the Left Bank (northeast) side of the northern city of al-Mawsil.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the as-Sihhah neighborhood as saying that a bomb by the side of the road went off by a patrol of members of the puppet army’s 2nd Brigade, damaging a Humvee and wounding two puppet soldiers. The witnesses said that the puppet troops then began searching the area and arresting people at random, picking up 12 local residents whom they took off to one of their bases in the city.
Resistance sharpshooter kills puppet policeman in al-Mawsil Sunday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:02am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet policeman in the northern city of al-Mawsil on Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a Ninwa Province puppet police source as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter shot a member of a puppet police patrol that was stationed at a market in the city, striking him in the head and killing him.
Bomb explodes outside Sunni collaborationist party headquarters Saturday night.
In a dispatch posted at 2:39pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a headquarters of the pro-American Sunni sectarian “Islamic Party” in the northern city of al-Mawsil, Saturday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the explosion killed three of the guards posted at the sectarian headquarters and wounded a fourth. Mahmud ‘Abbas, a member of the party, which was formed by members of the Muslim Brotherhood organization after the American invasion in 2003 in order to collaborate with US forces, told Mafkarat al-Islam that the explosion occurred near the party headquarters in the al-Ghazlani area in southern al-Mawsil. The cause of the blast was a bomb that had been planted near the main gate.
The “Islamic Party” is the largest party in the so-called “Reconciliation Front” which is made up of Sunni sectarian parties collaborating with the US occupation and engaged in the American-imposed political system in the country.

British troops kill Iraqi man and his son near al-Basrah airport Saturday night.
In a dispatch posted at 5:22pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that British occupation troops killed an Iraqi man and his son on Saturday night near al-Basrah International Airport Saturday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source, who asked not to be identified, as saying hat British troops opened fire on a car carrying an airport official or employee along with his son. The correspondent reported that the shooting occurred near the airport, which is located 20km south of al-Basrah city. The puppet police had opened an investigation into the incident, about which the British had issued no statement or explanation as of the time of reporting.
Body of drowned Iranian “Revolutionary Guard” found on Iraqi territory.
In a dispatch posted at 2:54pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that puppet naval police in the southern city of al-Basrah had found the drowned body of an Iranian dressed in the uniform of the Iranian “Revolutionary Guards.”
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the puppet police 40km south of al-Basrah found the body of one Hadi Ahmadi together with a large quantity of cash that he was smuggling into Iraq.
Meanwhile the puppet police in al-Faw, 100km south of al-Basrah, arrested four Iranians who entered the country illegally.
