Resistance bomb kills two puppet policemen in al-Haqlaniyah midday Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 7:08pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in al-Haqlaniyah, a town located near al-Hadithah, about 270km northwest of Baghdad at midday Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the local puppet police, who asked to remain anonymous, as saying that a bomb that had been planted near the Industrial Zone in al-Haqlaniyah went off by a puppet police patrol, destroying a Toyota patrol vehicle, and killing two patrolmen. Three more puppet policemen were wounded in the blast and taken to the city hospital for treatment. After the attack, the puppet forces closed off the area.
The city has been under blockade for nearly four months, but that measure has failed to halt Resistance attacks.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance pounds US al-Warrar Base west of ar-Ramadi with 11 rockets Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 4:29pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had a short time earlier fired at least 11 rockets into the US al-Warrar military base west of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported informed sources as saying that at least 11 missiles had blasted into the American al-Warrar facility, igniting a fire in the northern part of the US-occupied facility where sirens were wailing. The attack seemed well-targeted and it was considered likely that the Americans had suffered casualties.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance mortars pound US headquarters in al-Fallujah late Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 6:08pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance forces fired six mortar rounds at the US headquarters known as as-Simak in the city of al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported shopkeepers in the area around the ash-Shifa’ Medical complex near the US headquarters as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the as-Simak facility, sending plumes of smoke into the sky from inside as explosions shook the compound.
Resistance fighters kill four puppet Iraqi army troops in al-Fallujah Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 4:18pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance ambushed a patrol of puppet troops in the Industrial Zone in the southern part of al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad, on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported shopkeepers in the Industrial Zone as saying that a bomb exploded by a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol near the area and then Resistance men launched an attack with rockets and light and medium weapons on the puppet troops. A battle that lasted about 15 minutes ensued in which one patrol vehicle was destroyed and four puppet soldiers were killed. US troops then showed up on the scene, but only after the Resistance men had withdrawn from the area.
‘Anah.
Resistance blocks US Marine assault on ‘Anah Saturday night.
In a dispatch posted at 10pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier dozens of Resistance men battled US Marines on the eastern approaches to the city of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ‘Anah as saying that the Americans had attacked the city a short while earlier, claiming to be searching for an injured Arab Resistance fighter. The witnesses said that the Resistance blocked the American assault from getting into the city, sparking intense battles with the Americans that were still raging at the time of reporting.
Resistance mortars pound joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in ‘Anah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:04pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters jointly occupied by US and puppet Iraqi army troops east of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad.
The ‘Anah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the ar-Rayhanah area, 20km east of ‘Anah, as saying that the Resistance blasted the joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters set up in the former ar-Rayhana Veterinary Medicine Department inflicting extensive damage on the building and surrounding fortifications. No information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.
Resistance sharpshooter kills Iraqi puppet soldier at checkpoint in ‘Anah Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:48pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet army soldier in the city of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ‘Anah as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter opened fire at a checkpoint on the edge of town that was manned by US and puppet Iraqi army troops. The witnesses said that one of the puppet soldiers took a direct hit in the head, killing him instantly, to the shock of the other troops at the checkpoint who rushed to closed it down and take cover inside.

Puppet police in Hit release 13 local residents “on parole.”
In a dispatch posted at 5:37pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet police in Hit, 180km northwest of Baghdad, in an uncharacteristic move, conditionally released several individuals it had arrested a few days earlier.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-‘Ummal and al-Jary neighborhoods of the city as saying that the puppet police released 13 local residents they had arrested on Thursday, 8 March. The witnesses said that the puppet police stipulated that individuals would have to report to the puppet police station twice a day, in the morning and evening, every day to demonstrate their continued presence in the city.
The puppet police, known for their regular criminal behavior towards the local population, explained this uncharacteristic move by saying that it was their way of trying to cut back on indiscriminate arrests.

Massive explosion rocks fuel station near southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah Saturday afternoon.
In a bulletin posted at 5:26pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier a massive explosion went off near the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah, sending big clouds of smoke billowing into the sky.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the big blast had gone off in a fuel station but that as of that time, the nature and extent of casualties were unknown.
The correspondent added that it was considered likely that the explosion had been caused by a car bomb going off inside the fuel station.
Iraqi Resistance car bomb kills 15 puppet “Shock Troops” and Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in eastern Baghdad Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 3:14pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb had exploded by a group of cars belonging to the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) and pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militiamen in eastern Baghdad about an hour earlier
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the attack occurred near the al-Qanat Bridge in the eastern part of the city, which links the so-called “Madinat as-Sadr” district − a stronghold of the Jaysh al-Mahdi − with al-Muzaffar Square near a former headquarters of the Baath Party.
The correspondent reported a medical source as saying that the car bomb blast killed 15 Shi‘i sectarian gunmen and puppet Shock Troops, and wounded 14 more of them. The puppet police admitted only the casualties among the Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen, whom they called “civilians,” concealing the losses that the explosion inflicted on the puppet “Shock Troop” forces.

In a dispatch posted at 12:18pm Makkah time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a Nissan pickup in which a commander of the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militia was riding in the Sab‘ Bakar area of northern Baghdad on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by the side of the highway in the area completely destroyed the pickup and killed the sectarian commander and the four Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen who were his bodyguards. Iraqi puppet security forces raced to the scene, which they sealed off completely.

Resistance fighters assault puppet “Shock Troop” camp in Samarra’ at noon Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 5:26pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces assaulted a camp of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troop (Maghawir)” forces in Samarra’, 120km north of Baghdad, at 12 noon Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance attacked the camp, located near Samarra’ General Hospital, with rockets and medium weapons, sparking a gun battle with the puppet “Shock Troops ” inside. Four of the puppet “Shock Troops” were killed in the attack and two more of them wounded, one of them extremely severely. One of the Resistance fighters was also killed in the battle.

In a dispatch posted at 12:23pm Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 82mm mortar rounds into a US headquarters in Samarra’, 120km north of Baghdad on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the American headquarters in the al-Buhayrah Hotel in the middle of Samarra’, heavily damaging the building. No information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.

Resistance bomb wounds Americans in Balad Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:13pm Makkah time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the city of Balad, 80km north of Baghdad on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Balad as saying that a bomb that had been planted near the fuel station close to the al-‘Ani Mosque went off as an American patrol was driving past. The explosion heavily damaged a Humvee, wounding three US troops. American reinforcements arrived on the scene and were observed providing medical care to the wounded men.
Al-Ishaqi.
Resistance bomb disables US Humvee in al-Ishaqi Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:11pm Makkah time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the al-Ishaqi area, 85km north of Baghdad at 7am local time Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Ishaqi as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of an unpaved dirt road that encircles the town went off by a US patrol, totally disabling a Humvee and killing or wounding all the American troops aboard it.
Yathrib.
Resistance rocket scores direct hit on US-occupied air base in Yathrib area.
In a dispatch posted at 12:25pm Makkah time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired an S5K rocket at the US-occupied al-Bakr Air Base in the Yathrib area, about 70km north of Baghdad − a facility the Americans have nicknamed Camp Anaconda.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents in Yathrib as saying that the base took a direct hit from the rocket, which sent plumes of black smoke and dust billowing into the sky over the facility. Swarms of US helicopters flew into the area over the base after the attack.
Diyala Province.
Ba‘qubah.
Resistance fighters storm police station near Ba‘qubah Friday taking seven puppet policemen prisoner.
In a dispatch posted at 3:18pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked the puppet police station in the Habhab area near Ba‘qubah, 65km northeast of Baghdad Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Habhab as saying that about 50 Iraqi Resistance fighters stormed the puppet police station there on Friday night, killing one puppet policeman and taking seven more of them prisoner.
The witnesses said that the Resistance men seized weapons from the puppet police station as well, a cache estimated to contain 20 Kalashnikov assault rifles and five pistols.
The correspondent reported that the Habhab puppet police station is controlled by puppet police who are concurrently members of Shi‘i sectarian militias working for the American occupation. Anyone arrested by the local puppet police is taken to the local police station and then transferred to American custody, the correspondent reported.
After the raid, the Resistance men withdrew peacefully from the police station together with their captured weapons and seven prisoners.

Resistance bomb disables US Bradley armored vehicle in al-Mawsil Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:49pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the northern city of al-Mawsil on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a bomb that had been planted in the Baghdad Street area near the Abu Tammam junction, located on the Right Bank (southwest) side of the Tigris River in the city, went off as an American patrol was driving past. The source said that the explosion heavily damaged and disabled a US Bradley armored vehicle, killing or wounding four or five American troops.
