In a dispatch posted at 9:28pm Makkah time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces accompanied by puppet Iraqi police and puppet army troops have seized control of three-quarters of the city of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad in an extensive operation that began at dawn on Friday and ended with the call to the night (‘Isha’) prayers.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported US and puppet troops had taken control of the neighborhoods of al-Mal‘ab, as-Sikak, al-Iskan, ash-Shurtah, al-Hawz, ath-Thilah al-‘Ishrin, 17, as-Sihhah, al-Amanah, al-Mukhabarat, ad-Dubbat, and al-Mu‘allimin.
The correspondent reported that the Americans brought in armored vehicles and ostentatiously deployed snipers atop the roofs of houses. The Americans and their puppet troops met with little resistance in their operation, contrary to some expectations. The Americans gave the Resistance fighters − to whom they referred as “gunmen” − a grace period of only one hour to come out of houses in the areas. The US forces imposed a curfew on all the families in the areas that had not fled from the center of the city before the oncoming US and puppet forces.
As of the time of reporting, only the neighborhoods of at-Ta’mim and as-Sufiyah remained in the hands of the Resistance. All the rest of the city was under the control of the US occupation troops and their puppet allies.

The correspondent said that no one in the city is allowed to drive his car even if someone is ill or in need of medical care or the like. The US military command also banned the entry of food and also fuel covered by the rations allotted to the residents of Hit, in an apparent effort to psychologically break the population.
Informed sources were warning that the situation was heading towards a crisis as a result of the bans and restrictions.

US, puppet forces arrest nine villagers, claiming they were funding the Iraqi Resistance.
In a dispatch posted at 4:31pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces accompanied by their Iraqi puppet allies arrested nine residents of al-Karmah, 7km northeast of al-Fallujah, at dawn on Friday.

Residents of al-Halabisah told the correspondent that the Resistance sharpshooter got out of his car near the al-Halabisah car park outside the city and near the checkpoint controlling the western entrance to al-Halabisah. The sharpshooter aimed at the first checkpoint where US and puppet “Iraqi National Guards” were posted and fired a shot, striking an American soldier in the head and killing him.
Another source in the puppet police told the correspondent that the American was a Marine who had gone into the first checkpoint manned by the puppet “National Guards” to supervise the flow of traffic through the area, but he was struck and killed by a bullet from outside the area.
Immediately after the attack, the American and Iraqi puppet troops opened fire indiscriminately, wounding an elderly man who was trying to enter the city on foot. He was later taken to al-Fallujah General Hospital. After their shooting spree, the Americans and their puppet allies closed off the area for the rest of the day, snarling traffic badly as people trying to get into the city had to wait overnight until Friday.
