Al-Hadithah.
Three US troops reported killed when Resistance sinks their gunboat on Euphrates River near al-Hadithah.
In a dispatch posted at 6:32pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a shoulder-launched rocket into a US patrol boat on the Euphrates River near al-Hadithah, 270km northwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the missile struck the American boat and killed three US Marines and wounded two more of them. T he wounded men had to be fished out of the river and their condition was described as critical.
The correspondent reported that the US forces responded to the attack by opening fire on local civilians who happened to be in the area near the river, killing one man and his son and also a 14-year-old girl.
Al-Khalidiyah.
Mortar shell hits market in al-Khalidiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 6:33pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an mortar shell landed in the middle of the popular market in al-Khalidiyah, about 85km west of Baghdad.
The al-Khalidiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the mortar rounds of unknown origin blasted into the local vegetable market behind the as-Siddiq Sunni mosque, killing or wounding eight civilians.
The witnesses said that American troops blocked efforts to transport the wounded to hospital for treatment, forcing doctors to provide treatment to the victims in the middle of the street.
Although the source of the shell was not known, it was suspected that it might have been targeted on the puppet police station located near the market.
Ar-Ramadi.
US bans use of hospital ambulances in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 2:08pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces have banned hospitals in ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad, from using ambulances to evacuate pregnant women and people suffering from injuries whether during the day or night.
The correspondent reported that the Americans also seized six ambulances after one ambulance belonging to the hospital was used in a bomb attack on a puppet “al-Anbar Salvation Council” police station, killing two puppet policemen and wounding four more of them.
US forces arrest about 15 in sweep through ar-Ramadi district following fierce battle Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:05am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces carried out a campaign of mass arrests in the middle of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad following a fierce battle with Resistance fighters near the al-Mal‘ab district of the city on Monday.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Mal‘ab as saying that US Marines raided more than 10 houses in their area, arresting about 15 local people on charges of belonging to the Resistance.
The correspondent reported that most of those arrested were elderly person or youths. All were taken to the US al-Warrar base west of the city. Witnesses reported that the US forces took control of the al-Mal‘ab area on Monday using inhuman methods such as using fighter-bombers to blast civilian residential areas.
Baghdad.
Resistance bomb in Baghdad’s al-Karradah kills US troops Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, an Iraqi Resistance car bomb that had been parked by the side of a road in Baghdad’s al-Karradah district exploded by a US column.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb went off opposite the leather works near al-Hurriyah Square , setting one US vehicle ablaze and killing those who were aboard it. The correspondent reported from the scene of the attack that the US forces tried to put out the fire in the vehicle and extract the bodies of their dead solsiers as local residents crowded around in nearby shops to watch the corpses of the Americans burn in their wrecked vehicle.
Mysterious car bomb explodes in Baghdad’s al-Karradah district Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:52pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier a car bomb exploded in the al-Karradah district of Baghdad, killing and wounded a number of people.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported reported that an explosives-laden car that had been in the car park in al-Karradah went off in what was the second such bombing in 48 hours at a time when US forces were imposing their “New Baghdad Security Plan” in the city.

Resistance fighters attack joint US-Iraqi puppet headquarters in Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 1:59pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked the headquarters jointly occupied by puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” and US forces in Samarra’, 120km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a force of about 50 Resistance men attacked the headquarters located near the as-Sikak area in the middle of the city. The attackers tried to storm the facility from four sides, using rockets and other weapons, enabling them to succeed in penetrating into the headquarters.
The source reported that the Resistance men killed more than five puppet “Shock Troops” and wounded 22 more of them in the course of a fierce battle that went on for half an hour.
The Resistance also blasted the headquarters with heavy mortars. Four shells slammed directly into the building that Resistance men were attacking. The Resistance men withdrew from the area after US aircraft arrived on the scene.
Al-‘Awjah.
US troops arrest puppet police chief in al-‘Awjah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:29pm Makkah time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces arrested five officers in the Iraqi puppet police, including the puppet police chief of al-‘Awjah, an area near Tikrit, 180km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source who asked to remain anonymous as saying that the Americans arrested the puppet police chief in al-‘Awjah along with four other officers in the puppet police directorate for al-‘Awjah, located south of Tikrit on Tuesday. The puppet police chief, a native of Tikrit, was formerly an officer in the Iraqi army before the American invasion of the country. He was originally appointed by the puppet “Governor” of the city together with the US troops. The reason for his arrest was unknown, particularly since al-‘Awjah has been quiet for months.

al-Mada’in.
Resistance bombards puppet police station in al-Mada’in.
In a dispatch posted at 12:57pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the puppet police station in the al-Wahdah neighborhood of al-Mada’in, 25km southeast of Baghdad Monday.
The al-Mada’in correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported people in the Jisr Diyala district near the scene of the attack as saying that the puppet police station suffered severe damage in the attack. Four puppet policemen were wounded in the attack, one of them severely. The same puppet police station has been shelled twice in the past by the Iraqi Resistance.
Heavy fighting reported around al-Mada’in Monday, Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:22pm Makkah time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting has been taking place between Iraqi Resistance forces and US troops in al-Mada’in, 25km southeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the fighting began on Monday and has continued into Tuesday and was occasioned by a major American operation in the area of al-Khannasah, ad-Dar‘iyah, and Alaj in the al-Mada’in area.
The correspondent reported that Resistance men armed with light and medium weapons were battling US troops who were not hesitating to use internationally banned weapons such as cluster bombs dropped from C-130 aircraft on civilian residential areas and villages where Resistance fighters were said to be located. Residents of Salman Bak, near al-Mada’in, reported that the Americans have suffered heavy casualties in the fighting, but no specific information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.
Al-Miqdadiyah.
US, puppet forces carry out mass arrests and raids.
In a dispatch posted at 10:31am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US and puppet Iraqi forces carried out a massive campaign of raids and arrests in various districts of al-Miqdadiyah, about 85km northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that clashes took place yesterday between the Resistance and the puppet police and puppet “National Guards” east of the city. That combat was followed by the raids and arrests of local civilians.
The correspondent reported that 11 local people were arrested and US and puppet troops then followed that up with raids and arrests north of Ba‘qubah, where they arrested more than 20 people claiming that they belonged to a Resistance group.

Kirkuk.
Resistance bomb kills puppet soldier southwest of Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 1:11pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol, killing one puppet soldier near the northern city of Kirkuk.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the ar-Riyad area, southwest of Kirkuk, as saying that the bomb destroyed patrol vehicle and killed one puppet soldier instantly and wounded two more.

Al-Mawsil.
Bomb in al-Mawsil Tuesday evening kills or wounds 50.
In a dispatch posted at 7:44pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that more than 50 people were killed or wounded when a car bomb exploded by the Umm ar-Rabi‘ayn puppet police station in the ar-Rifa‘i district of western al-Mawsil.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that eight of the casualties were puppet police, the rest were civilians, mostly Sunni. At the time of reporting, ambulances were ferrying the dead and wounded to hospitals after US forces had sealed off the scene of the attack.
Resistance bomb kills puppet policeman in al-Mawsil Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:49pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in al-Mawsil in northern Iraq on Monday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source who asked to remain anonymous as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road in the al-Jaza’ir neighborhood went off by a puppet police patrol, killing one of the patrolmen instantly. Four more of them were transported wounded to the city hospital. Their patrol vehicle was destroyed in the blast.
