In a dispatch posted at 12:34pm Makkah time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two high-explosive bombs went off by US troops sparking a battle with Iraqi Resistance fighters in al-Karmah, 7km east of al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that al-Karmah was the scene of a successful Resistance strike when the Resistance men laid and then sprang an ambush on US troops near 20 Street in the town. Two high-yield bombs blew up by a patrol of four American Huvmees loaded with US troops.
The first bomb was detonated by a hand-held remote control device, blasting the second vehicle in the patrol. The second bomb directly struck the fourth vehicle, totally destroying it and slinging wreckage through the air. The Resistance fighter then pounced on the patrol firing light and medium weapons directly at the US troops.
When US aircraft approached the scene, the Resistance men then quickly wound up and left the area without having suffered any casualties. One of the participants in the battle told Mafkarat al-Islam that five or six Americans were killed in the attack and four more of them severely injured.
Afterwards, US forces completely closed the street for more than five hours as helicopters flew in to land and evacuate the American dead and wounded.

Massive truck bomb obliterates building in Baghdad’s as-Sadriyah district where pro-Iranian death squads maintained center for sectarian torture, murder. District death squad commander Husayn as-Saghir reported killed in devastating blast.
In a dispatch posted at 9:50pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a truck packed with explosives and parked next to a building, one floor of which was used by the Shi‘i sectarian militias as a place for the detention, torture, and murder of Sunnis in the as-Sadriyah area of Baghdad, blew up on Saturday in a huge explosion. The entire building was reportedly obliterated in the devastating blast.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that explosion of the truck bomb killed at least 129 people and wounded more than 323 others. Since bodies were still under rubble, it was possible that the casualty count could go as high as 500.
Two days before Saturday’s truck bombing, the same building was raided by US occupation troops who arrested nine people and found and took away the bodies of two Sunni youths who had been detained on the second floor of the building, which served as a Shi‘i sectarian slaughter house for Sunnis.
Local witnesses said that the Americans also found Sunni prisoners being detained in the building. The Americans set the prisoners free and tuned the bodies of the two dead victims over to al-Yarmuk Hospital but made no further investigation or announcement about the Jaysh al-Mahdi death squad stronghold.
Mafkarat al-Islam also learned that among those killed in the enormous blast was Husayn as-Saghir, the nephew of Jalal as-Saghir, an Iranian Shi‘i cleric who is close to Grand Ayatallah ‘Ali as-Sistani and a member of the puppet “Iraqi Parliament.” Jalal as-Saghir is also the Imam of the notorious Buratha Mosque, the most infamous center for sectarian death squad torture and murder in Baghdad.
Husayn as-Saghir was the official in their organization in charge of murder operations directed against Sunnis in the Baghdad districts of al-Fahhamah and ash-Shaykh ‘Ali, including the Hayfa Street area. Predominantly-Sunni Hayfa Street has recently been the target of joint military operations by US forces and Shi‘i sectarian death squads against local defenders and Resistance fighters.
A medical source told Mafkarat al-Islam that the body of Husayn as-Saghir was found covered in his blood and surrounded by the corpses of 10 of his bodyguards in a real-estate office in the demolished building Saturday.

The witnesses said that the US and puppet troops had surrounded the mosque when a group of students of private classes in the memorization of the Qur’an were present inside the building. The Qur’an classes are regularly held in the mosque, the witnesses said.
Local residents said that the district had been struck by mortar attacks launched by Shi‘i sectarians and last week and had been pressing the puppet regime to locate and halt those attacks that have killed a number of local civilian residents. But the only response on the part of the US-installed Shi‘i sectarian regime was the Saturday raid on the Abu Hanifah Mosque.

The al-Mada’in correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city of al-Kut, 190km southeast of Baghdad, as saying that Jayshi al-Amir, a top official in SCIRI who works as a lawyer was killed in his heavily guarded office. Al-Amir is the cousin of commander of the al-Karrar Brigade of puppet forces in the city of al-Kut where the two men had worked out a scheme for extorting money from Sunni residents, particularly from the area of al-Mada’in.
Under their arrangement the commander of the al-Karrar Brigade in al-Kut would arrest Sunnis in al-Mada’in and then send their cases to al-Amir who would then extort large sums of money from them and their families - reportedly in excess of 5 million Iraqi dinars for each person ミ in return for getting them released. The same person might later be arrested a second time and dunned again according to the scheme worked out by the two officials of the US-installed regime.
‘Adnan Khudayr ‘Abbas ad-Dulaymi related the details of his arrest to the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam. It was in the Baghdad district of al-Baladiyat, ad-Dulaymi said, that he and his five brothers were arrested by the puppet al-Karrar Brigade. The family got together all its possessions and sent the vast sum to the al-Amir and the six men were released immediately.
But less than seven days later the six were arrested again, this time in al-Mada’in. Under torture they “confessed” to crimes they had never committed on a Shi‘i sectarian television broadcast.
