Resistance blasts US base in al-Fallujah with heavy mortars as evening falls Sunday.
In a bulletin posted at 6:22pm Makkah time Sunday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance forces unleashed a violent barrage of heavy 120mm mortar rounds on the US base in the middle of al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported money changers in the market opposite the US as-Simak base as saying that the mortar shells struck the base sending plumes of smoke rising from the facility as three violent explosions went off inside.
The correspondent noted that the as-Simak base formerly consisted of buildings housing the al-Fallujah Youth Center and city administration until US troops too over the buildings and turned them into a US base.
Two US troops reported killed when Resistance bomb sinks American gunboat on Euphrates near al-Fallujah − second gunboat sunk by Resistance in 24 hours.
In a dispatch posted at 6:11pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that in the second such attack in 24 hours, two US troops were killed when the Iraqi Resistance attacked and destroyed a US gunboat on the Euphrates river on Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Captain Fawzi ‘Ali as-Salihi of the puppet army as saying that Resistance men apparently planted a bomb in a fish netin the Abu Falis area west of al-Fallujah. The device went off when a US gunboat sailed over it. The blast destroyed the boat and killed its two-man crew.
The source said it was more likely that the boat was destroyed by a bomb than that the Resistance hit it with a rocket or small arms fire from the land since the area is under heavy surveillance and it would be difficult for Resistance men to get to the edge of the river ant attack and sink the boat and then get away.
At the time of reporting, no Resistance group had claimed the attack but the area where the boat blew up and went down was still surrounded by US troops.
The Ansar as-Sunnah organization had taken responsibility for the destruction of another US patrol boat in the Al-Bu Hayyat area near al-Hadithah further to the northwest on the Euphtates River on Saturday. That attack left three Marines dead.
US soldier reported killed by Resistance sharpshooter in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:11pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier at one of the western entrances to al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a sharpshooter took down a US soldier with a direct shot to the head as he stood at the checkpoint on the western approach to al-Falluah. The soldier died instantly. The attack pitched the other Americans at the checkpoint into a state of hysterical rage, the source reported.
Resistance bomb on highway near al-Fallujah targets US supply convoy Sunday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:41pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US supply convoy on the highway that runs past al-Fallujah on Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that car park supervisors in the as-Sajar area of the city who witnessed the attack said tht a bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway went off by an American supply convoy on its way to the us al-Mazra‘ah (“the Farm”) Base Sunday morning.
The correspondent reported that the blast inflicted heavy damage on one of the trucks in the convoy and also damaged a Humvee that was escorting the column. At least five American troops were killed or wounded in the explosion. After the attack, US forces closed the road and sealed off the entire area.
Four US troops reported killed in double bombing in al-Fallujah Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 11:28am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded nearly simultaneously by a US column in western al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the two bombs just seconds apart near the new al-Fallujah bridge at 5:30pm Saturday afternoon. The blasts destroyed an Abrams tank, sending parts of it along with body parts of the soldiers inside flying through the air around the area. One witness said that at least four Americans were killed in the double bombing and a number of others were severely injured.
Ar-Rutbah.
US troops reportedly raid house near ar-Rutbah, stab four young men to death for unknown reasons Sunday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 5:09pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops carried out an air born landing and then stormed into a house in the az-Zab‘ah aera of western ar-Rutbah − a town not far from the border with Jordan − Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Americans entered the house and stabbed four residents with their bayonets. The names of the deceased are: ‘Izzat ‘Abdallah Khanjar, Muhammad ‘Abdallah Khanjar, Mahmud ‘Abdallah Khanjar, and Muhammad Ja‘‘al Khanjar. The witnesses said that after killing the four, the Americans verbally abused the mother of the young men. The family of the victims reports that it does not know the reason for the deadly American attack, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance pounds US al-Warrar base Sunday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 7:51pm Makkah time Sunday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance forces fired a barrage of surface-to-air rockets at the US al-Warrar base west of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a commander in the Resistance group the “Islamic State of Iraq” announced that his organization fired five rockets at the US al-Warrar base. Four of the missiles landed directly in the middle of the base and set off several secondary explosions, believed to have come from exploding vehicles that then sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky. The fifth rocket landed in the northeastern part of the base where the puppet Iraqi army has its quarters.
The correspondent reported that sirens wailed inside the American-occupied facility and helicopters were seen hovering over the facility. Two of the aircraft then landed inside, apparently to evacuate dead or wounded personnel.
The correspondent noted that the puppet regime had claimed on Sunday that the puppet “al-Anbar Salvation Council” police had taken control of the as-Sufiyah district of ar-Ramadi, but that the district was in fact still under the control of the “Islamic State of Iraq” and there was no presence of US or puppet regime troops inside the district.
US forces arrest six young people in ar-Ramadi midday Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 6pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops arrested six people in the middle of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad, at midday Sunday.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Marines raided an area in the middle of town, arresting six local young people, claiming that they were training fighters to carry out attacks on the US troops.
The correspondent reported that raids took place near the al-Mu‘allimin section of town not far from the water cistern in the middle of the city. The Americans rampaged through several houses in the area and after selecting the six young people, two of them brothers, put bags on their heads and then loaded them aboard US military vehicle that probably took them to the US base near Nazim al-Warrar.

Resistance blasts US base in ‘Ana with mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 4:05pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds at the headquarters jointly occupied by US and puppet Iraqi “National Guards” in the middle of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the thunder of the explosions could be heard coming from inside the base and smoke rose over the facility.
Al-Hadithah.
Resistance pounds US base in al-Hadithah with heavy mortars Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 11:54am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US base located in the middle of al-Hadithah, about 270km northwest of Baghdad at 6:30pm local time Saturday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Hadithah as saying that the barrage set off thunderous explosions within the base and sent plumes of smoke and dust rising from more than one place within the facility. The witnesses said that he US troops reinforced their position in the area of the base after the bombardment.

Five US troops reported killed in Sunday night battle in Abu Ghurayb.
In a dispatch posted at 8:51pm Makkah time Sunday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fighting had erupted between Resistance men and US troops in the as-Samilat area, 5km north of Abu Ghurayb − which is 30km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported from the scene that the fighting was at that moment centered on the as-Samilat area in the gardens of Bayt ‘Abd as-Samad, Al-Bu Hamdan, and al-Bu Samir. Two detachments of the Islamic State of Iraq and one unit of the Army of the Mujahideen were fighting American troops. The correspondent wrote that he could see one US Abrams tank ablaze by the water pipe at the entrance to the gardens. There were reports that five US troops had been killed in the battle.
US helicopters were hovering above the area and Resistance men were making use of the nighttime darkness and their knowledge of the gardens, thick with bushes and date palms, to maneuver and fight.
Baghdad.
Resistance fighters kill four Hizballah sectarian gunmen in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 5:39pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that four members of Hizballah were killed in a Resistance attack on the car in which they were riding in the Baghdad district of al-Yarmuk Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that armed men believed to be Resistance fighters opened fire on a car carrying the four members of Hizballah when the were driving their gray Mercedes around the area. The correspondent reported a puppet security source as saying that the four men had IDs issued by the Iraqi Branch of the Hizballah Offices and were armed with four pistols equipped with silencers. They were also carrying a digital video camera. The source said that the four bodies were taken to the morgue at al-Yarmuk Hospital.
The correspondent noted that gunmen of the Shi‘i sectarian Hizballah organization are regarded by the Iraqi Resistance as just one more Shi‘i sectarian militia, since they also kill and drive out Sunnis in sectarian attacks throughout the country, taking a stand along side the US occupation and the American-backed puppet regime.
In a dispatch posted at 9:01pm Makkah time Sunday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a Resistance group that calls itself the Jund ar-Rahman Salafi organization issued a communique´ which appeared on a mosque door in al-Yarmuk claiming responsibility for the attack.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the organization, whose formation was just announced two months ago, announced that it had killed Husayn Nayif al-Kannani, Ja‘far ‘Abd al-Hasan Mukash, Fu’ad al-Khashshali, and ‘Ali ‘Abdallah − all members of the Iraqi organization of Hizballah who, it said, had killed a number of Sunni students in commercial college of al-Ma’mun University..
Car bomb targets Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in “Madinat as-Sadr.”
In a dispatch posted at 5:05pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier a car bomb exploded by a stronghold of the pro-Iranian Jaysh a-Mahdi militia in the al-Habibah district of Madinat ath-Thawrah (nicknamed “Madinat as-Sadr” after the US occupation) in Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported medical sources as saying that the blast targeted a crowd of Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen, reportedly inflicting casualties, but no specific numbers were immediately available.
Two car bombs explode by puppet army troops, Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in Baghdad al-Jadidah Sunday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 4:13pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that just minutes earlier two car bombs had exploded near the al-Bayda’ Cinema in the Baghdad al-Jadidah section of the occupied Iraqi capital.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the explosions caused dozens of dead and wounded. The area where the explosives-laden cars went off are regarded as among the most important strongholds of Shi‘i sectarian militias. The attacks took place as US forces were continuing their “New Baghdad Securyity Plan” operations.
Later, in a dispatch posted at 6:59pm Makkah time Sunday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the car bombings in Baghdad al-Jadidah at midday Sunday had left 60 dead and 125 wounded, most of them Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source as saying that those figures were not final, however, and that many of the wounded were so severely injured that they too might yet die.
The correspondent reported that the two car bombs went off by a column of puppet Iraqi army troops returning from a campaign of raids in the Sunni Tall Muhammad area. One car bomb destroyed two vehicles in the column, killing the puppet troops aboard them. Then seconds later the second car bomb went off by a group of Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen who were gathering on the scene.
The correspondent added that also among the victims of the explosion were itinerant vendors of pornographic films and prohibited substances who had been operating in the area since the American occupation of the city.
Puppet “National Guards” raid Sunni neighborhood Saturday evening, arresting 50.
In a dispatch posted at 11:39am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that puppet “Iraqi National Guards” carried out a campaign of raids, searches, and arrests in a Sunni neighborhood in the Camp Sarah area of eastern Baghdad at 6pm local time on Saturday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the area as saying that a large force of puppet “National Guards” terrorized the local population, smashing down doors and wrecking household belongings while insulting and reviling the residents with curses, most of which were sectarian in character. The witnesses said that the puppet “Guards” arrested 50 local residents, most of them young.
US, puppet Iraqi forces carry out savage house-to-house raids in Sunni district.
In a dispatch posted at 11:52am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies carried out a campaign of savage raids and searches in the predominantly Sunni third district of the al-‘Amil neighborhood in southwestern Baghdad. Ten local residents were arrested
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the area as saying that the Americans and their Iraqi puppet allies smashed doors and windows, wrecked household furniture and ransacked people’s homes all the while reviling and cursing them using sectarian slurs. The then boys and men arrested by the Americans and their Iraqi assistants were taken off to an unknown destination.

Resistance bomb rips through US patrol south of Balad.
In a dispatch posted at 3:31pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol south of the city of Balad, which is located about 80km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an explosion rocked the Sayyid Muhammad area, 20km south of Balad, setting fire to a Humvee. Although no precise information on the nature or extent of casualties was available, eyewitnesses said that American helicopters emblazoned with the red cross landed on the scene and evacuated four soldiers.

Resistance blasts US “Anaconda” base with Katyusha rockets Sunday moring.
In a dispatch posted at 3:45pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that on Sunday morning Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Katyusha rockets into the US-occupied al-Bakr Air Base in the Yathrib area, about 70km north of Baghdad − a facility called “Camp Anaconda” by the US forces.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents as saying that the rockets scored direct hits on the base, sending plumes of smoke billowing into the sky over the facility.

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US soldier at checkpoint in Samarra’ Sunday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 2:31pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier near the city of Samarra’, about 120km north of Baghdad on Sunday morning.
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported motorists who were waiting at the US-manned checkpoint at the Samarra’ junction as saying that one of the American troops at the checkpoint was shot in the head and killed by a Resistance sharpshooter. After the attack the Americans panicked and closed down the checkpoint, taking cover inside.

Marine stabs comrade when argument breaks out among Americans on patrol near Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 7:58pm Makkah time Sunday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US Marine stabbed one of his fellow Marines when a fight broke out between them in the Sunni village of Barimah near Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US foot patrol was going around the village when a fight broke out between two of the American Marines. The villagers, who did not understand English, did not know what the soldiers were arguing about but one began shouting and insulting the other and matters escalated until one of the Marines pulled out his bayonet from his belt and stabbed his comrade in his side.
The villagers said that the wounded Marine was quickly taken to the US base near al-Huwayjah, southwest of Kirkuk.
The correspondent noted that incidents of fights and injury inflicted by Americans on other Americans were on the rise in Iraq as the US side increasingly loses control of the situation and hysteria sets in.

Resistance bomb in al-Mawsil wounds two puppet policemen in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 12:06pm Makkah time midday Sunday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in southwestern al-Mawsil.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the bomb in the al-Mansur area moderately damaged a patrol vehicle, wouding two puppet policemen, sending both of them to hospital for treatment.

Puppet police commander escapes death in Resistance bombing in southern Iraq Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 4:27pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb went off by the motorcade in which the puppet police chief of al-Muthanna province was riding in an incident near as-Samawah in southern Iraq on Sunday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported an informed source in the puppet police as saying that a bomb went off by the motorcade in which Colonel ‘Ali Al Khawwam was riding near ar-Rumaytha, about 25km north of ar-Samawah. The source said that the blast destroyed one vehicle in the convoy and wounded five of the puppet police official’s bodyguards, two of them extremely severely.
The correspondent reported that ‘Ali Al Khawwam is director of internal intelligence in al-Muthanna Province and that this is not the first time he has been the target of an assassination attempt.

Body of Asian truck driver serving US occupation found near al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 7:37pm Makkah time Sunday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi puppet police had found the body of an Asian who worked as a truck driver hauling fuel in Iraq for a Kuwait company funded by the US military
The al-Basrah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source in al-Basrah General Hospital as saying that the body was found in al-Harithah, just north of al-Basrah city and that he had an ID issued by a Kuwaiti company that was funded by the US to supply American military forces in Iraq with fuel. The Resistance have repeatedly warned Kuwaiti companies that work for the US occupation that they are targets and will be treated like the occupation troops.
