In a dispatch posted at 9:59pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters intercepted and seized a convoy of trucks hauling various goods that were being imported from Jordan for high-ranking officials in the US-installed sectarian regime in Baghdad in the city of ar-Rutbah near the Jordanian border Monday morning.
The ar-Rutbah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resisistance seized 12 trucks loaded with various construction materials that were being imported for ‘Ammar al-Hakim, the son of ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Hakim, the chief of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian “Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq” (SCIRI). The Resistance men confiscated the goods.
The correspondent noted that the Resistance also commandeered trucks hauling medical supplies for ‘Ali al-Adib, an official in the Shi‘i sectarian Da‘wah Party (which is headed by US-installed puppet “Prime Minister” Nuri al-Maliki). The Resistance then distributed the medical supplies to hospitals in the city of ar-Rutbah.
The correspondent reported that the Resistance initially took the drivers of the truck convoy prisoner but later, after interrogation, released some of them. The correspondent noted that top officials of the American-installed puppet regime do big business for their personal enrichment ミ but nominally on behalf of the Iraqi puppet “government” ミ importing and selling goods from Jordan, Iran, and Turkey.
