Resistance pounds joint US-Iraqi puppet army camp with heavy mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 5:46pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three heavy 120mm mortar rounds into a headquarters jointly occupied by US and Iraqi puppet forces in the town of ar-Rayhanah, near the city of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the US-Iraqi puppet army heaquarters set up in the former veterinary department of ar-Rayhanah came under heavy mortar barrage setting off extremely massive explosions and sending plumes of black smoke rising from the headquarters. The precise cause of the large explosion was not known.

Resistance bomb damages US vehicle in Rawah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:44pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column in Rawah, about 315km northwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the main road from Rawah to ‘Anah went off by a passing American column, heavily damaging a US Humvee and killing or wounding all the American troops aboard. Afterwards, American forces closed the road for several hours while they evacuated their casualties and hauled away he vehicle.

Two US troops killed in Resistance ambush in ar-Ramadi Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a US patrol in ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad, on Tuesday morning.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men armed with machine guns and rocket launchers ambushed a US patrol that was driving through the at-Ta’mim district’s “8 Shubat” neighborhood in the city. The fighters opened fire on the Americans with rocket and machine gun fire and the Americans responded, sparking a firefight that left one American Humvee totally burned and destroyed and two US troops killed and a third severely wounded.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bombards US camp in al-Fallujah with heavy mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 7:25pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance forces fired six 82mm mortar rounds into he US base in the middle of al-Fallujah; the second such attack on the facility in 72 hours.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the barrage, which occurred shortly after sunset Tuesday evening, set off explosions inside the US facility and sent plume of smoke billowing into the sky. Afterwards, US forces shut the street to all local Iraqis.
Resistance fighters repulse US incursion into al-Karmah, clearing town of Americans.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting by the Iraqi Resistance had prevented US occupation forces from getting back into the town of al-Karmah located near al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that heavy fighting took place on Monday-Tuesday night. Residents of the al-Hasiwa area in the middle of al-Karmah said that the Resistance used mortars to blast US troops concentrated in the food storage warehouses outside the town on Monday afternoon.
Then, two hours later, US forces drove into al-Karmah where they were intercepted by Resistance fighters. Local shopkeepers had already closed their stores in town, in anticipation of a battle breaking out. The witnesses said that one American Humvee was set ablaze in the course of the fighting, wounding the US troops aboard it.
After fierce fighting by the Resistance, the Americans decided to pull out of the city and withdraw to the outskirts, specifically, back to the food storage warehouses where they had been encamped earlier in the day.
Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bomb attack in as-Saqlawiyah near al-Fallujah Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:06am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in as-Saqlawiyah, about 15km northwest of al-Fallujah on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Saqlawiyah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway to al-Fallujah went off by a passing American patrol disabling one Humvee and killing two of the soldiers aboard. A third US soldier was wounded in the blast. Afterwards the Americans sealed off the highway and it remained closed at the time of reporting. Motorists on the highway were accordingly forced to take detours along farm roads to go around the scene of the attack.
Resistance battles puppet troops in al-Fallujah Monday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked an Iraqi puppet army headquarters in al-Fallujah on Monday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who live on as-Sadd Street near the scene of the attack in the southern part of the city as saying hat Resistance men fired RPG-7 rocket-propelled grenades and light weapons at the camp in the Industrial Zone of al-Fallujah, sparking a battle that raged for more than a full hour. Since the city was under curfew at the time, no information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.
The correspondent also reported that American forces were deployed heavily in the city on Tuesday, the fourth day of the ‘Id al-Adha holiday, whereas they had kept a relatively low profile during the first three days of the ‘Id period.

Resistance fighters gun down Peshmergah gunmen in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 5:44pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance men shot and killed two members of the pro-American Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militia in the middle of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a group of Resistance fighters ambushed a late-model car in which two Peshmergah gunmen were riding through Baghdad’s al-Fadl district. The Resistance fighters opened fire with machine guns on the car, killing the two Peshmergah men instantly
Resistance bomb destroys US Humvee killing all aboard in ar-Ridwaniyah midday Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 5:19pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the south Baghdad district of ar-Ridwaniyah at midday on Tuesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ridwaniyah as saying that a bomb that had been planted on al-Wazir Street in ar-Ridwaniyah went off by a passing American patrol, completely destroying a Humvee and killing or wounding all the US troops aboard.
Resistance bomb kills puppet “Iraqi National Guards” Monday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 5:31pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in Baghdad’s southern ar-Ridwaniyah district on Monday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of al-Fattuh streets went off by a patrol of the puppet “Guards,” completely destroying a Nissan pickup patrol vehicle and killing three Iraqi puppet “Guards and wounding two more of them.
After the explosion the puppet “Guards” closed of the area and called in Americans for reinforcement. They then carried out searches of the area but found nothing liked toteh attack.
Resistance bombs blast puppet police in Baghdad’s Bab ash-Shaykh area.
In a dispatch posted at 4:59pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by two puppet police cars in the Bab ash-Shaykh area of the occupied Iraqi capital.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the two bombs, which had been planted near to each other blew up by two GMC puppet police vehicles. One of the cars carried a puppet police lieutenant colonel who was in charge of the Bab ash-Shaykh puppet police station on the ar-Rusafah side of Baghdad.
The lieutenant colonel was accompanied by nine puppet policemen at the time when the Resistance bombs exploded.
Resistance fighters kill two pro-American Badr Brigade commanders in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 5:24pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed two commanders in the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigade militia in the middle of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men were lying in wait for the pro-American activists when they left a residential building in the Hayfa Street area of central Baghdad. The Resistance fighters opened fire on the pair and killed them instantly.
Resistance fighters attack pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen, killing three.
In a dispatch posted at 4:43pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance men shot and killed three pro-Iranian Shi ‘ sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen in a battle in southern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a group of Resistance men armed with light and medium machine guns attacked a group of Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in the al-‘Amil neighborhood of southwestern Baghdad. The gunmen fired back sparking a battle that lasted about half an hour during which time the streets in the area were completely empty.
Three sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen were killed and a number of them were wounded before the Resistance fighters withdrew, having suffered no losses of their own according to the withesses.
Resistance bomb targets puppet police patrol in southern Baghdad suburb Tuesday noon.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah at midday Tuesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the rod in the as-Sihhah neighborhood of ad-Durah went off by a patrol, completely destroying a patrol vehicle and killing one puppet policeman and wounding three more of them in varying degrees. The wounded men were taken to hospital for treatment, the source said.

Resistance bomb damages American Abrams tank Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 5:02pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US armored patrol in northern Tikrit on Tuesday morning.
The Tikrit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a bomb that had been planted north of the city went of by a US patrol, heavily damaging an Abrams tank and wounding three American troops who were aboard it.
The witnesses said that the US forces closed the entire area after the attack, even though a curfew was already in force in the city.

Resistance fighters kill Badr Brigade commander in Ba‘qubah Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:28am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed a commander in the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades militia, the armed wing of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) and two of his brothers in the city of Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance fighters shot and killed ‘Ali Majid Salbukh and two of his brothers, who served as his bodyguards, when they attacked the motorcade in which they were riding through the city, spraying them with a hail of gunfire.

Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bomb attack in al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:36pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in al-Yusufiyah, about 30km southwest of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood in al-Yusufiyah blew up, burning up and totally destroying a US Humvee.
The witnesses said that they saw US troops in an extreme state of hysteria pulling three of their comrades’ dead bodies from the burning vehicle.
