Resistance shoots down US helicopter near al-Mahmudiyah Friday evening.

Resistance bomb targets US patrol in al-Fallujah Thursday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 2:25pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad, on Thursday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a bomb that had been planted on ath-Tharthar street that separates the ad-Dubbat neighborhood from the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood went off by a passing American patrol. Eyewitnesses who live in the area nearby told Mafkarat al-Islam that the blast totally destroyed a Humvee. The witnesses said they thought it was likely that there were substantial casualties too, though they could not confirm their nature or extent, since the US troops sealed off the area completely in order to haul away the vehicle and evacuate casualties.
Resistance bombards US-occupied railroad station in al-Fallujah Thursday night.
In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six 82mm mortar rounds into the hadquarters of a US occupation base in northern al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad at about 10pm Thursday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the base set up at the al-Fallujah railroad station near the al-Jawlan neighborhood of the city was hit by the six shells, setting off explosions that shook the base and could be heard in many parts of the city. Smoke and dust billowed into the sky after the attack.

Brief gun battle in eastern Baghdad Friday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 2:30pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a clash between unknown armed men and a US column took place in eastern Baghdad Friday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a massive US military column came under armed attack near the ash-Sha‘b playing field in eastern Baghdad, not far from the puppet “Ministry of the Interior.”
The witnesses reported that a number of the armed men got out of civilian cars and opened fire on the rear of the American column. The Americans responded with intense fire sparking a gun battle that lasted a short time. Witnesses said that part of the American column headed towards the Madinat Saddam section of Baghdad ミ a part of the city nicknamed “Madinat as-Sadr” after the American invasion in 2003.
Resistance pounds US ar-Rustamiyah base in eastern Baghdad with heavy mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 2:29pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US ar-Rustamiyah base in eastern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the ar-Rustamiyah base took hits from the shells, setting off violent explosions that could be heard a great distance from the base. The barrage also sent plumes of smoke and dust rising into the sky directly after the barrage. Swarms of US helicopters prowled the area after the bombardment.

Four US Marines reported killed in Resistance bombing in Ba‘qubah Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:27pm Makkah time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US Marine force in the city of Ba‘qubah on Thursday.
The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb, set off by remote control, destroyed one US military vehicle and killed four US Marines.

Resistance shoots down US helicopter near al-Mahmudiyah Friday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 7:20pm Makkah time Friday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance forces shot down a US helicopter in the Suq Hamad area southwest of al-Mahmudiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad.
The al-Mahmudiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the helicopter was hovering over the city at low altitude when it was hit by ground fire from the Iraqi Resistance. The area where the aircraft went down was, at the time of reporting, crowded with US troops who also imposed a curfew on the area as they searched for the wreckage.
Al-Hillah.
Resistance bomb kills three Iraqi puppet army troops near al-Hillah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:33pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol to the north of al-Hillah, about 60km south of Baghdad, on Friday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by a dirt road surrounding the Jablah area north of al-Hillah went off by a passing Iraqi puppet army patrol, damaging a patrol vehicle. The explosion also killed three puppet army soldiers who were aboard the vehicle.
In addition, Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the US occupation base north of al-Hillah.

Tall ‘Afar.
Resistance fighters kill representative of Shi‘i sectarian religious leader in Tall ‘Afar.
In a dispatch posted at 7:29pm Makkah time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters assaulted the representative office of Iranian-born Shi‘i sectarian religious authority Ayatallah ‘Ali as-Sistani in the town of Tall ‘Afar in northern Iraq, killing as-Sistani’s personal representative Husayn al-‘Afari and seven staff members of the office.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the as-Sistani representative office had been set up by the puppet “Iraqi government” installed in the country by the US occupation. The office was established after the last battle of Tall ‘Afar between Iraqi Resistance forces and US occupation troops and was part of the means used by the US and its puppet regime to keep the city under control.
Eyewitnesses told the correspondent that Resistance fighters attacked the office with medium and light machine guns. They said that after the Resistance fighters took control of the office, they rigged explosives around the inside of the building and blew it up, razing it to the ground.
At the time of reporting, US occupation troops and Iraqi puppet soldiers, who had sealed off the area, were working to dig corpses of the dead out of the building.
