In new repressive measure, US troops round up 50 young men, break their arms, crush their fingers in raids in ar-Ramadi, Thursday.

In a dispatch posted at 6:51pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces introduced a new repressive practice into their activities in the occupied city of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad on Thursday.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Dr. Mahmud al-‘Ani as saying that American troops were out searching and trying to arrest individuals they believe are associated with the Iraqi Resistance.

After finding none of their “fugitives” at home, the doctor said, the Americans then raided the market and nearby houses and hauled young men into the street. They roughly tied their hands behind their backs and then used their rile butts to break the arms of more than 50 area youths. They then crushed their fingers, Dr. al-‘Ani said, after which they then left the victims in the middle of the street.

Dr. al-‘Ani told Mafkarat al-Islam that among the 50 victims were college students, government employees, and professors.

Four US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in ar-Ramadi Thursday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 6:20pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column to the east of ar-Ramadi, which is located 110km west of Baghdad, on Thursday afternoon.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road went off near he al-Mulahamah area to the east of ar-Ramadi, completely destroying an American Zeal troop transport vehicle.

The correspondent reported that the wrecked Zeal had been packed with American troops at the time of the attack, which killed at least four of them and wounded several others ﾐ most of those fatally, witnesses said.

Al-Fallujah.

Four US troops reported killed in Thursday afternoon Resistance car bomb attack in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 6:59pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US military column in the 7 Nisan district of al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad on Thursday afternoon.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who live in the 7 Nisan area as saying that the explosives-packed car, a Daewoo, was parked by the side of the road that leads into their area. The car blew up as the column drove past, destroying one Humvee and killing four US troops aboard it.

The Americans then immediately sealed off the whole area and were watched as the collected body parts of the dead soldiers and shards of the wrecked Humvee. They summoned air support so that the sound might intimidate the local residents, an indication that the attack had reduced them to hysteria, the correspondent reported. The blast also damaged a wall and broke window class in some nearby houses.

Resistance pounds US base in al-Fallujah with heavy mortars Thursday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 6:08pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into a US base in al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad on Thursday morning.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the American as-Simak base, the largest US base in the city, took direct hits in the barrage, that set off violent explosions inside the American-occupied facility after the attack and sent clouds of smoke and dust billowing into the sky. After the attack, US forces shut down the entire surrounding area, including the new main street there, near which the US-occupied base is located.

Resistance bomb destroys US Humvee in western al-Fallujah Thursday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 5:39pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in western al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad, on Thursday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted in the ar-Risalah neighborhood of western al-Fallujah went off when a US patrol was passing through the area near the new al-Fallujah bridge.

The explosion completely destroyed one Humvee killing or wounding all aboard. US troops then opened fire indiscriminately around the area.

Resistance bomb rips through puppet army troop transport in al-Karmah Wednesday.

In a dispatch posted at 11:53am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a joint patrol of US troops and their Iraqi puppet army allies in the al-Karmah area northeast of al-Fallujah on Wednesday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as sang that a bobm that had been planted by the side of a road between the Ibrahim al-Hassun Mosque and the al-Karmah Secondary School exploded and destroyed an Iraqi troop transport loaded with puppet soldiers. The witnesses said that there were heavy casualties among the Iraqi puppet troops and that the Americans and their puppet allies responded to the explosion by firing their guns indiscriminately around the area. Fortunately this time they caused no casualties among local passersby.

Al-Hadithah.

Resistance bomb damages US Abrams tank west of al-Hadithah at noon Thursday.

In a dispatch posted at 5:41pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column near al-Hadithah, 236km northwest of Baghdad at midday Thursday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road running west from al-Hadithah went off by a US column, damaging an American Abrams tank.

Motorists who were on the road behind the American column on the road told Mafkarat al-Islam that after the blast, the US forces completely shut down the highway, forcing them to set out on rough dirt roads through the desert.

Al-Khalidiyah.

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills two American troops in al-Khalidiyah Thursday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 5:37pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two US soldiers in the al-Khalidiyah area, about 90km west of Baghdad on Thursday morning.

The al-Khalidiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance sharpshooter fired at one of the American guard towers in the city, striking two US troops in the head and killing them instantly.

The attack reduced the other Americans to a state of hysterical rage, the correspondent reported. They savagely ransacked and searched the houses in the area, destroying a great deal of furniture and other personal belongings of the people who happened to live in the area. They made no arrests, however.

‘Anah.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army base in ‘Anah Wednesday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:36pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the headquarters jointly occupied by US forces and Iraqi puppet army troops in ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad on Wednesday afternoon.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the former Youth Center, which the Americans and their puppet allies have turned into their headquarters, took direct hits from the shells, which set off explosions that could be heard all over town and sent plumes of smoke and dust billowing up into the sky.

Al-Qa’im.

US soldier reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet in al-Qa’im Wednesday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:26pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in al-Qa’im in western Iraq near the Syrian border on Wednesday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter fired at a US soldier in the US camp set up atop the al-Bu Mahall puppet police station in al-Qa’im. The bullet struck the soldier directly in the face, killing him instantly.

Baghdad.

Resistance bomb kills three puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in Baghdad Thursday.

In a dispatch posted at 5:45pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in northern Baghdad at midday Thursday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted on the al-Kari‘at Bridge in northern Baghdad exploded by a puppet “National Guard” patrol, setting ablaze and completely destroying a Nissan pickup in the patrol. Three puppet “National Guards” were killed in the attack and another three were wounded, one of them severely. After American troops showed up to back up the puppet “National Guards” the joint force then sealed off the entire area.

Resistance bomb rips through puppet patrol vehicle, killing “Shock Troop” soldier in Baghdad Thursday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 12:47pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in western Baghdad on Thursday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road in the middle of the al-Khadra’, section of western Baghdad went off by a passing “Shock Troop” patrol, destroying a four-wheel-drive patrol vehicle and killing one puppet “Shook Troop” soldier and heavily wounding four more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 12:30pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in western Baghdad on Thursday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the Resistance sharpshooter picked off the two Iraqi puppet “Shock Troops” while they were on duty at a “Shock Troop” camp on the road to Saddam International Airport west of the occupied Iraqi capital.

US troops then joined the puppet “Shock Troops” in carrying out raids and searches in the nearby area, looking for the sharpshooter. They found no sign of him.

Resistance fighters capture, execute pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in Baghdad Thursday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:21pm Makkah time midday Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters set up a fake checkpoint in the al-Yarmuk district of Baghdad on Thursday, capturing four commanders of the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi sectarian militia. The Resistance fighters executed the Jaysha al-Mahdi gunmen on the spot.

Resistance fighters kill three Iraqi puppet “National Guards” in northwestern Baghdad Wednesday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:36pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that three Iraqi puppet “National Guard” troops were killed on Wednesday in two separate Resistance attacks on a camp in northwestern Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that in one attack, an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter killed a puppet “National Guard” soldier in a “Guard” camp. The marksman’s bullet struck the puppet “Guard” in the head, killing him instantly.

In a second attack, a detachment of Resistance fighters armed with light and medium machine guns attacked the same camp, killing two more puppet “National Guards” according to eyewitnesses.

Al-Hawijah.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet police in al-Hawijah Thursday.

In a dispatch posted at 6:32pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the middle of al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq at midday Thursday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by the side of the road in the middle of al-Hawijah , heavily damaged a puppet police patrol car, wounding three puppet policemen, one of them severely.

Al-Mawsil.

Puppet troops find Resistance bomb, which then explodes in their midst.

In a dispatch posted at 12:53pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a group of Iraqi puppet “National Guards” who were trying to disarm the device in the northern city of al-Mawsil on Wednesday.

The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a puppet “National Guard” patrol found the bomb, which had not been well concealed on Baghdad Street in the city, ear the Abu Tammam exchange on the right (northeast) bank of the Tigris River in the city.

The puppet “Guards” surrounded the entire area and summoned technicians to disarm the device, but Iraqi Resistance fighters detonated the bomb by remote control, killing or wounding at least six of the puppet “National Guards.”
