よりにもよって、外国特派員協会主催の講演会で、「友人の友人がアルカイダで、バリ島の爆破事件を予告された」と発言してしまった鳩山法相。後に一部訂正したが、ここ数時間のうちに、各国メディアによって凄まじい勢いで発言内容が伝播していっている。情報化の恐ろしさというか、それ以前に、自分が大臣である前提をすっ飛ばして、こういう発言をするようでは危機管理能力が全く無いといっていい。福田内閣自体も対応如何によっては国内外からの支持を失いかねないだろう。
