F22を開発したロッキード・マーティン社は、これを日本に売りたかったが、アメリカ政府が反対したので、残念がっているとのニュースを見たことがあります（実はこれも表向きはそういっているだけで、ウラでは色々と思惑がある？）。
ところがこのロッキード・マーティン社と三菱重工は昔から深い関係があり、例えば三菱重工とロッキード・マーティン社の”ジョイント・ベンチャー”によるF2戦闘機の開発では、三菱が日本政府の元請になり、ロッキード・マーティン社に対して１億５千万ドルの契約金を支払って、これの共同生産を行っています。

なお、イラン攻撃については、ここ２年ぐらいの間、何度もメディアでぶち上げられては、株価が大きく乱高下してきた経過からして、イラン攻撃報道は、ヘッジファンド達が株価の操作をするための材料ではないかという気がだんだんしてきています。
アメリカのサブプライム・ローン問題に端を発した世界経済の大崩壊が近いとの見方をする記事が多く見られると同時に、イラン攻撃のキャンペーン記事もまた、色々と出てきました。
